I love this place and the big slices they give. But this last time i was very disappointed in the slice i got. This is definitely not the norm and it looks like someone already had a few bites. Not saying i won't return but definitely unhappy this go round

I ordered a triple berry cake yesterday and I must say I believe the recipe has changed. I'm a long time customer and was very excited to hear that Sweet Lady had reopened since it's closure early this year.. what I noticed was different was the texture of the cake itself, it was pretty dry and crumbly, not moist and fluffy as I remember. The whipped cream frosting was also much sweeter and starchier than before.. it was almost like a buttercream rather than the classic light whipped cream frosting they were so famous for.. also not as many berries 😭 It was still a decent cake but not as great as it once was, definitely not worth the price anymore, which I was happy to pay but for the product that literally made this brand what it is. Hoping management takes this review into consideration 🤞 still love and have hope for Sweet Lady Jane!!

Finally they opened one in DTLA, about two weeks ago. Space is small but the workers here are friendly and welcoming. I had my oatmeal raisin cookie. 🍪 I’ll be coming back for my cake, I hope this bakery will last here in DTLA. Let’s support them 👍🏻
