I loved this hotel. It is incredibly beautiful and feels like they’ve worked hard to preserve it. Service was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. My only suggestion for the room is that the beds were full size not queen and it seems that it could be an easy switch for more comfort. We were able to walk to many of the destinations in downtown LA like the Grand Central Market. It’s really a cool experience to stay here.

We stayed here for a few nights while we caught LA Kings games, and selected this hotel for the great proximity to Crypto.com arena. However, the stay ended up being so much more. The room was comfortable & clean, well-kept, as was the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, lots of options there as well. We parked on-sight and that was smooth & easy to do. The staff was friendly & welcoming. We'll definitely be staying here again!

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful, BUT for $200+ a night, I expected a comfortable mattress. I woke up sore and in pain. I also found a spider in my bed and a red stain on my sheets. Didn't take a picture of the spider but I did of the stain. Not sure if it was blood or maybe lipstick but didn't want to sleep on it, obviously.
I liked that they had chargers for people with Electric vehicles, but they only had 3 and when I happened to arrive and tried to park the other two cars hadn't bothered parking correctly so.....it took me a while to park and harder to squeeze out of my car. Had to pull my things out through the trunk and climbing from there to the back seats a few times. Also the parking was directly connected to the hotel so unless you got Valet help, it was a hassle to carry all my things to and from my room. 4 trips lol
Their restaurant was closed the few times I wanted to eat so I was forced to leave and find somewhere and there was no food right outside the hotel. It wasn't too far to find places but I had to ask for directions to locate any. The bar always seemed to be open there.
They DO try to accommodate for ADA or disability but be warned there are a LOT of stairs so it's an effort to work around that.
So again, beautiful hotel, and lovely staff, but room was NOT worth $200+ a night for the actual room space, uncomfortable and a bit of a dirty bed.

This hotel is beautiful and it was special for us to stay here.  The rooms are small but still very nicely decorated and comfortable.  The bed was amazing!  We parked and then walked during our stay.  We were there to enjoy a play at the Ahmanson which was very walkable and safe even after dark.  Many restaurants, the Grand Central Market, The Last Bookstore, The Broad museum and the historic Bradbury Building all within walking distance.  A great get away to downtown Los Angeles.  We would definitely go again.

Overall this was a perfect hotel for what we needed. We went to the women’s march in Los Angeles and it was 1 block away. This is a 100+ year old hotel so parts could use updating (bathrooms) but the room was spacious (a little dark) and clean. The service was good, and the food in the bar was great and the hotel itself is very beautiful with a deep, rich Hollywood history. Did I mention the ghosts ? 😍🎉 (Black Dahlia)
