We usually order the sushi omakase because the fish is always amazing, whether dry-aged or prepared fresh with the perfect pickled toppings so that you never need soy sauce.  The fried taro is also a great addition if you're extra hungry.

Probably my favorite place to eat. The food is delicious,  creative,  and beautiful to look at.  The staff are professional and friendly.  I've been following the chef for close to twenty years now,  from Chiba to Asanebo to his own restaurant,  and he's destined to become a name in the sushi business.  Excellent fish.  Great taste.  Outstanding menu,  both in terms of selection and preparation.  A must-visit restaurant for the sushi lover who wants to see some new ideas.

As soon as you enter the cooks great you. It’s perfect for a nice lunch date. I had a peach salad with a San Benedetto. The best salad I ever had. I ended up paying $26 for both. The waiter was cool. He treated me nice. I’m Hispanic, I guess they never seen one hi. Anyways, it was satisfying. I think I should gotten something carby with my salad. Forgot to mention the seat was a little uncomfortable maybe because of my wallet. Thank you guys for the experience.

Not impressed. Our party of 5 did the Sushi Omakase and the sushi was the worst. Lots of fishy hard cuts that didn’t taste fresh. The rest had very little flavor. Out of the 10 pieces, 3 were fishy Mackerel. Disgusting. The hand roll was also gross. 3 of us didn’t even eat it. The salad and appetizers were nice. Our server was sweet. I had booked the reservation way in advance but even though there were plenty of tables inside, they forced us to sit in the patio where we couldn’t watch the chefs prepare or have any interaction with them. The hostess was not nice and I would never go back here. Honestly, paying over 1000 for our night felt like a complete waste. I do not recommend going here.

Efter att ha tillbringat 1200 på vår utekväll, lämnade vi med en fiskig smak och en osmaklig känsla för denna plats. Låtsades vara bra, skulle vi säga "en av de värsta". Efter att ha ätit sushi på över 30 olika ställen runt LA, skulle den här vara i botten av tunnan. Vet inte om vi bara skaftade på några av de värsta fiskarna, de flesta var äckliga Makrill (äckliga) , vi kunde inte stå ut med mycket av det, inklusive handrullen som också var en påse spya.

Min sushi upplevelse började oskyldigt med en svängande sushi bar på 1980-talet där jag skar tänderna på sådana innovativa delikatesser som "California Roll" och "Ebi" (kokt räkor på ris) en occasionaly gick så långt som att prova vågat "kryddig tonfisk".
Snabb framåt i fem år till Las Vegas frågade en taxichaufför där bra sushi var och han hänvisade genast till en plats där alla japanska affärsmän bad honom att ta dem. Min vän och jag var de enda två icke japanska människorna i restaurangen och de såg på oss som om vi var galen. Vi sitter i baren och kocken frågade om vi litade på honom, utan att veta vad som var att säga "bra av grov jag gör" skulle få mig in. Från det ögonblicket och innan jag kunde blända honom med min överlägsna kunskap om de olika Avocado-baserade sushi-rullarna, gav jag en tallrik med två delikatberedda koppar skarpa, krispiga nori fyllda med den sötaste krämiga uni jag någonsin har ätit och vid den tiden hade undvikit det som någonsin hänt med skickligt engagemang.
Inte att förolämpa kocken särskilt för att jag tror att han trodde att det skulle vara hilariskt att han skulle titta på mig kasta upp detta (inte en Kalifornienrulle) bett. Jag sa en liten bön och placerade den här lilla biten i min mun och ögonen rullade tillbaka i mitt huvud och mitt sushi-liv hade förändrats för alltid. Han lanserar sedan en attack på mig om han kunde bryta mig och bra jobb bra gjort, han bröt mig att någonsin äta en Kalifornienrulle någonsin igen. Och lanserade en fascination i äkta sushi att äta och Omakas kärlek eller (lita på mig-menyn).
Återigen blinka fram till 2019 Min favorit sushi bar i skogshallar är nu "Brothers Sushi" i stället för "Brothers Sushi" och jag var ledsen, åtminstone tills min kära vän och co-konspirator i Sushi sa till mig att de nya ägarna är samma som ägarna som en av de bästa sushi restaurangerna som jag någonsin har varit på, Michelin Star restaurang Asanebo i Studio City.
OK så spelet på mina tårar ändrats till glädjebrott och bröt omedelbart genom dörren och lät dem komma med mig (äntligen komma till rätta)
Nu har jag varit chefschef i 30 + år och arbetat för och åt på några av de bästa restaurangerna över hela världen och det tar mycket att få mina ögon att rulla tillbaka i mitt huvud längre men kocken fortsatte att rulla min ögonen sitter tillbaka och ser bakom mig. Kanske är du bekant med den här känslan men känner du den känslan när du sätter något verkligen fantastiskt i din mun, det biter när det går i din mun säger din hjärna STOP!! Då försöker du räkna ut hur man gör det här känner för evigt och tuggar så långsamt som möjligt för att utöka den magi du just har fått med. Varje skål varje tankeväckande skapelse ett väl genomtänkt mästerverk av perfektion och skiktad tapisserier av noggrant konstruerade smaker som gör att du aldrig någonsin vill ha en annan Kalifornienrulle eller någon roll någonsin igen eller faktiskt någonsin inte ledas ner den resa de skapat för dig med Omakase . Jag kan inte rekommendera Brothers Sushi längre, de är verkligen en vacker present som har gett Woodland Hills och West Valley men även om jag bodde i Long Beach, skulle jag komma hit. Jag är säker på att du kan få en Kalifornien rulle och det kan bara vara det bästa du någonsin haft men ta ordet av en formellt nieve våt bakom öronen 23 år gammal version av mig själv i Las Vegas alla de år sedan, ta en chans låta dem göra vad de gör så bra du kan lita på dem. Du skulle inte gå upp till Rembrandt och säga hej kan du bara måla mig en stavfigurporträtt av mig? NEJ! låt dem använda varje färg i deras kulinariska arsenal och göra dig mästerverk som de är mer än kapabla att måla.

Vi har ätit på hundratals sushi restauranger runt detta område. Den här har den bästa kvaliteten på sushi, och även de högsta priserna runt dalen. Om du gillar högkvalitativ sushi och sashimi, kommer du att njuta av denna plats. Restaurangen är liten med begränsat sittplatser.

De goda nyheterna: Vårt parti av 4 hade en reservation för 7: 45 pm på en lördagskväll. Vi kom fram i tid och satt omedelbart. Därefter gick det nedförsbacke FAST. Allas mat togs ut separat och 2 av vårt parti var färdiga att äta innan de andra 2 fick sin mat, 30 minuter senare. Vi var tvungna att be om wasabi och ingefära två gånger innan vi fick några (ska det inte komma före sushi - eller åtminstone med det?), Jag var tvungen att fråga 2 olika människor för citron och det tog fortfarande 15 minuter att få det. . . och sparkaren var att det tog över 30 minuter att få kontrollen efter att vi begärde det. Fisken var bra, badrummen är super posh (fancy uppvärmda säten på self-cleaning toaletter) men restaurangen är trånga och deras kundservice behöver arbeta. Vi kände oss inte omhändertagna - mer som olika medlemmar av vänta personal tog mat till vårt bord, men det var det. Jag antar att om du inte är särskilt hungrig och / eller du har ett stort antal tålamod, kan du inte vara störd av någon av dessa saker, men om du hoppas på en trevlig måltid med en samvetsgränsig server, äter du inte här .

Trevlig liten sushi plats. Från gatan ser det ut som en vanlig sushi-plats som du inte är säker på. Beslutade att ge det ett försök och blev inte besviken. På samma sätt som andra sushiplatser öppnar den efter 17.00. Sushi var mycket bra och tjänsten också. Även om det ser litet ut finns ytterligare sittplatser som går längre bakåt. Testa!

Vi har passerat den här restaurangen många gånger, men det här var den första gången vi faktiskt gick inuti.

Det är en liten plats. Det finns några bord och några lediga platser på sushi bar på. Vi satt på den sushi bar. Vi fick en av deras särskilda rullar, några bitar sushi, och vissa fläsk. Vi hade också en skvätt saké. Vi brukar inte dricka sake och vet inte så mycket om det, men vi gillade meny som förklarade något om de olika slag, det var lätt att plocka något som vi njöt av.

Sammantaget, maten och servicen var bra, och vi skulle åka tillbaka.

Var ute efter sushi på väg till Whole Foods och staplade vi in i Brothers sushi. Tack gode Gud att vi gått upp i den tidigare sushirestaurang vi såg. Vi är inte från LA men att besöka släktingar och var ute efter att äta sushi.
Det här stället är helt otroligt, liten plats men bra mat och typiska långsam något utanför av NYC service.
Senare vi fick höra av familjen att detta är en fantastisk sushi i den valley.

Kommer definitivt gör comeback för mer.

Jag har ätit här ett antal gånger under årens lopp (det här stället har varit runt för på minst 30 år) och hitta den mat och service till vara utmärkt. Men, liknande till andra recensenter, det är inte ett billigt ställe att äta. Fortfarande det's värde för pengarna bara vara försiktig med vad du beställer.

Vi beklagar, men absolut inget speciellt. Akta dig att några av de priser på specialerbjudanden är inte tydligt som anges, samma gäller för din räkning - inte specificerat. Detta ställe kom rekommenderat till mig, men jag är rädd att jag tänker inte göra samma. 160 $ För två personer (vi delade en öl) för vad vi hade var lite för dyr. I delen med oavsett sushi är OK, det är prov och felet, dock känsla av att jag fick var vänlig att bli tagen för en åktur med föregående som listas njuter för en stund att.

Detta var mitt andra besök och igen maten var mycket bra. Servicen är uppmärksam i detta blygsamma läge - nästan känns som om du är i någons hus. Men sedan räkningen kom och jag nästan föll ut ur min stol. Givet att jag inte äter bröd med ris och oftast hade alla fiskrätter. Jag hade aldrig spenderat nästan $100 med tips för bara mig - och det var med en drink. Jag skulle åka tillbaka, men det kan vara lite mer försiktig nästa gång.

Det här stället är fantastiskt! Efter att ha ätit här inga andra shushi ställe som jag har varit på kan komma nära hur bra det smakar. Ägaren går varje morgon till fiskmarknaden på 4 am till hands plocka fisk som han kommer att servera. Det är den fräschaste mest aptitretande sushi kommer du någonsin ätit. Steve rulle är utsökt. Personalen är super vänliga och hjälpsamma. Det är ett trevligt litet ställe med parkering bakom byggnaden. Värt vartenda öre!

När jag besöker min dotter och hennes familj, jag insistera på en måltid på Brothers Sushi. Det är mat till gudarna! Min svärson beställningar för oss, men det är omöjligt att gå fel med någon av kockens specialiteter. Så anbud. Så fräscht. Och det är ytterligare en fröjd att titta på min 3 år gamla sonson njuta av den lika mycket som jag gör.

Vi bodde på gångavstånd, och ville prova något lokalt. Brothers var ett utmärkt val! Maten, servicen och atmosfären (fantastiskt handskrivna specialerbjudanden tejpade på väggen för att visa upp den friska och unika) var alla förstklassig. Jag var där bara för en kort stund i affärer, men när jag är i området igen, jag kommer att åka tillbaka! :)

Jag bestämde mig för att ha sushi till middag i går kväll. Mitt val var bröder Sushi baserat på recensioner från TripAdvisor. Tja, det var ett mycket bra val. Jag gillade särskilt japansk stil ceviche. Det var en fantastisk resa med läckra smaker och konsistenser. Fisken var fräsch och ganska gott men killen som satt på sushi kunde inte riktigt få ris rätt. Det var lös och föll sönder när jag plockade upp den. Förutom det mindre problem, det var en mycket, mycket bra.

Sushin är alltid färsk och välsmakande. Atmosfären är inte bra, men (viktigast) maten är. Jag har aldrig haft en dålig måltid på Brothers och alltid ser fram emot att åka dit.
