Great experience overall.
We started in the lounge for cocktails and appetizers and caught some live music.  The band was great, but I'm a sucker for any live music, so maybe not the best measure.  Service was a bit on the slow side but still good.
We moved to the restaurant for dinner.  At the table we had Prime Rib,  Eggplant Parmesan, the Salmon and Rigatoni Bolognese.  I don't eat meat, but the rest of the table thought the beef was excellent.  Everything else also was very good.  I loved the eggplant!
Service in the restaurant was outstanding.
We will go back.  We'll go back for cocktails and live music and dinner sometimes too.

Place is a vibe. Very old Hollywood. Food was good, the prime is enough for two people and worth it. If you can try to time it so that you finish dinner and move to the lounge right when the live Jazz music starts. Try to get a table in the lounge, put your name on a waitlist if it’s filling up and you’re still eating in the dining room.

the vibes are excellent, especially when the music comes on. That old-school Hollywood-but-not-quite-Hollywood feel (which is much better than actual Hollywood). The food was fine, but it's at its best when it comes to drinks and tunes. Try the "Y Tu Mama Tambien" cocktail. Epically delicious.

Lovely, delicious, friendly, historic, and has parking?  Your gal is sold. My husband and I love this place. We’ve sat down for dinner, at the bar, and the lounge-  All are great.  I’m not big on steak but theirs are absolutely mouth wateringly delicious, seasoned and cooked to perfection.  Great cheese cake too. The bartenders, hosts, and servers are all charming. Sitting at the dimly lit lounge surrounded by people of all ages to enjoy the live band transports me to another time.  Come here and have a gorgeous night out.
