I adore Milo & Olive. The staff are always attentive and professional. And the kitchen delivers high quality with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is intimate and easy. There’s a little cafe attached to the restaurant where you can get pastries and coffee. A great place to gather for any settings.

Completely forgot to take a photo of the pizza lol.

Anyway. The place is great! Has a great atmosphere. Service is the best you’d get anywhere.

I got the mushroom pepperoni. The pizza was good, but there was a slight doughy aftertaste I wasn’t too fond of. That was my only complaint.

Maybe it wasn’t fully cooked? It wasn’t bad, I just couldn’t get past the doughy taste.

The burrata was FIRE. Holy crap it was really good.

I enjoyed the food overall and the experience was great.

I’d definitely recommend this place.

Moved to Santa Monica and made this our first dinner spot, and I’m glad we did. The staff here is very friendly and attentive, making us feel at home. The restaurant has a chill, clean vibe. It was busy but we got a table immediately.

The sausage and broccolini pizza was amazing and unique. The sausage wasn’t overbearing but was full of flavor. The broccolini is subtle and adds a nice crunch. Best of all was the roasted garlic on the pizza; the cloves just melt in your mouth. The crust was perfectly chewy with a great fire baked taste.

We also tried the pappardelle bolognese and that was great too. I enjoyed the wide pasta and the hit of cream in the sauce. The portion size was a bit small, but enough.

Looking forward to coming back and trying different pizzas and pastas.

Been coming here for a few years now, and as a LA / Santa Monica native. It’s one of the best places for brunch and dinner. The food is always consistent, clean, and fresh. What I mean by clean is that it leaves you not feeling all tired and bogged down. Russell, Omar, Chris W. , and Sara has always provided tentative service. The restaurant is very well balanced, the feel, the vibe, the decor. It’s perfect for date night or a casual brunch /dinner. Not to mention their pizzas are top 10 in LA voted by many high level critics. Stop by for pastries and coffee or a full meal.

Was so very happy with the food at Milo & Olive! Pastries were fresh, delicious, bursting with flavor. Got the savory farmers makert veggie croissant and sweet cream brioche. The pepperoni & mushroom pizza was good. Liked the crust, but the pizza options are pretty basic and uninspiring.
The real star was the Milo Spicy Italian sandwich! Great combo of quality meats and pickled veggies, very balanced flavor, probably the best sandwich I've had in Santa Monica!

Excited to go back and try more of their food! They have generous hours. Opens at 7am for pastries, coffee, bread. Breakfast dishes 8-11am. Lunch and dinner is the same menu 11am-close.
