First time trying their pizza today and wow did it taste authentic! My parents are from Michigan (and most of my relatives still live there) so I’ve had my fair share of Detroit style pizza and this lived up to the real deal! It was real high quality between the dough, cheese, sauce and crispy crust! Very impressed and hope to be back!

This review is long overdue!

I might just be a little addicted to Detroit Pizza Depot. Being from the Midwest and now living in LA, finding a legit pizza that reminds me of home has been nearly impossible—until now. These guys nailed it! Hands down, my favorite pizza joint.

The crust is perfectly crispy, the cheese is just the right amount of gooey, and the toppings are always fresh and generous. Every bite takes me right back.

And it’s not just the pizza. They carry Faygo and Vernors drinks! If you’re from the Midwest, you know how special that is. The Faygo even brings back some classic ICP memories. IYKYK.

Even though they’re not close by, Uber Eats makes it possible to get my much-needed pizza fix. Trust me, it's worth it. Detroit Pizza Depot has become a delicious, comforting slice of home away from home. If you haven’t tried them yet, you’re seriously missing out!

Not sure why everyone is raving about this pizza. Maybe you have to be from Detroit? They have been loving the Lions for a long time. I found the pizza and flavor to be severely underwhelming, It was also extremely cold and chewy and it cost $21 for a 4 slice 7.5"x 6.75" personal size pizza. $21??? It seems more LA than Detroit to be so full of oneself, Maybe it's fusion?

I also ordered chicken wings and again, I guess you have to be from Detroit? I expect Buffalo wings when I order them with pizza but here they are plain, flavorless drab things. But lots of sauce options to make your bland wings pretend to come alive! These fine specimens were $13.

Finally, Grubhub did the delivery, input contactless delivery instructions for me, without my consent or knowledge so I found my food on the ground outside my door, further getting cold. Even during the pandemic I don't understand or want my food placed on the ground. Upon complaining they refunded my additional tip, but offered no further assistance or discount. Probably wasn't even the driver's fault since Grubhub screwed up, but the driver's money is all they would offer. Typical of the gig world we live in where service is dead.

In short, the food was blah and very very over priced. Over $50, with taxes and fees, for a lame personal pizza and lamer wings?? Grubhub was terrible and I won't be repeating use of either this restaurant or that app. As a former pizza delivery driver, manager and owner, I don't have patience for bad pizza and bad service. But hey, if you're a Lions fan you'll probably be ok here, being used to all that disappointment and all.

Really exceeded expectations - the sauce, crust and cheese were all perfect! Couldn't ask for fresher ingredients.

When ordering take-out the wings come with sauce on the side - THANK YOU!
