Attended the matinee showing for Wicked on Thanksgiving day, a remarkable movie that exceeded my expectations in every way, so good it had me tearing. The theatre was just as impressive. Loved the 101 Greatest Movie Quotes poster in the lobby, which included Field of Dreams' "If you build it, he will come" and "Say hello to my little friend" from Scarface, along with classic quotes from earlier films, like Casablanca and The Wizard of Oz. Staff was friendly and helpful at the concessions stand which doubled as the movie ticket counter. Got a small bag of buttered popcorn, and it was delish. The inside of the auditorium was inviting and quite unique. Large black and white portraits of iconic actors and celebrities across time lining the walls, ie. Marilyn Monroe. High top tables and chairs inside the auditorium, in a section toward the side, in addition to the reserved lounger seats (this is the first movie theatre I've been to that had this, and I liked it). Not your typical luxury loungers, they do recline a bit if you lean back (no button to push), but there are no footrests that come out, and the aisle seats (at least toward the back of the room) were like loveseats with no armrests in between the first two seats in each row. Also no cupholders at any of the seats, just small detachable armrest tray tables. These are just a few features of this theatre worth noting. The atmosphere overall was wonderful, a classic theater with modern touches.

This was my first time ever ever ever at this particular theater, and it was gorgeous inside! Everything was very well kept and iconic to turn of the century style with beautiful pillars and lighting that was updated. My main complaint was that we went with a large group of children and all of our children end up getting kids packs. We called the day before and spoke to the manager telling her that we would have 50 children and they would be getting at least 50 kids packs but nothing was set up ahead of time and sadly we missed the first 15 minutes of the movie as her employees were scrambling to set up all the kids packs after we ordered. I wish things were set up earlier but then again it's a kids movie and they see a bunch of previews anyways.... I wouldn't mind going back and seeing another movie here, I just won't be going with a bunch of kids again! Especially since they neglected to set up the kids packs ahead of time.

We just had my son's 8th birthday party here and it was a blast! The Minecraft movie was a hit, to say the least. The entire staff was so helpful and on top of everything! The cheese pizza was great, the kids packs were all ready! We could not have had a better experience. The smaller theatre was also nice to keep the gang together. Definitely give them a call for your next movie theater event! Peters team were kind and so easy to work with, can't wait to have another party here soon.

Heard only good things about this theatre and wanted to come here for a while. Glad we did! The upstair theater is spacious. It has 4 rows, but along the side is full bar area and then on the other side is a seating area. While you won't be able to enjoy/watch the film in the seating area, I can imagine for private parties it's great to have a place to stand/sit and mingle. The seats are large and comfortable. They do recline, though the foot rest does not come out so that's a tad uncomfortable. They even have love seats as well as single seats. Will come back!

Seats were so uncomfortable! I left with my back and knees in tatters. The recline barely worked and there isn't a way to put your feet up. The "recliners" listed on the website are a lie. Never again!

Vintage theater vibe but with updated lounge chair seating & sound systems. We just saw Civil War there a few days ago & while disappointed with the movie itself... the theater & staff was great. We will be back soon You can buy your tickets online to save some time.

This was our first visit since COVID. I was here twice in a few days, once to see "Barbie" with my wife, and once to see "Oppenheimer" by myself (she didn't want to see it). I experienced each movie in a different theatre room. Each room is great, but the best is the upstairs. The downstairs room has many rows of stadium tiered rocking chairs,. The upstairs room, is one of the best venues for watching a movie in a theatre setting, with recliners with ottomans in a small room yet a big screen. In both rooms, all seats are reserved; you pick the exact seats when buying tickets online or in person. The matinee prices are $9.50, and Tuesdays all shows are $5.00. Regular price is $12.50. If you are a senior (55+), Mondays and Wednesdays have $5.00 tickets with hot dogs, small popcorn, and a soda $3 each. Food is obtained in person at the snack bar. If you order a food item that is not immediately ready at the snack bar (such as a hot dog), someone will bring it directly to your seat. We are all grateful to the Goetz family, who owned the theatre before COVID and who lovingly restored it to its beautiful condition, and who then donated it to the Town of Los Gatos. The operation of the theatre is currently done by Cinelux which is keeping the theatre in good condition and keeping prices reasonable.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this theater! The upstairs room has a few large movie theater seats spaced far apart from others, and it wasn't too busy when we went on a Sunday night. The room has a way better cozy and relaxed vibe than normal movie theaters. There are also bar seats on the side which I found super cool. The price was pretty good ($12.50 for an evening show)! Staff was also friendly and quick to scan our tickets.

I have been wanting to come here ever since the theater reopened and finally made it. We had the pleasure of seeing a movie in the small upstairs theater. It is beautiful (wanted to peek in the downstairs theater but the movie was running). Everything we saw of the remodel was gorgeous and we had a totally wonderful movie experience. I plan to come back often (like next week for starters!). I saw many movies with my son when he was growing up in the Campbell Plaza. Of course, not nearly as nice a venue but still worth supporting. Thank you to the family who owns CineLux for giving Los Gatos this beautiful work of art. If I were able to afford it I would rent out the small theater for parties and events. It would be so much fun. I need to modify here, I forgot it was the Goetz family who did the gorgeous renovation and donated the theater to the town, but we have the family who owns CineLux to thank for the fact that it is open and running.
