This review is for their turkey cheeseburger and onion rings. The turkey cheeseburger was decent and a good size. Cheese was an additional 75¢. So, the burger came out to under $9. The bun was a little over toasted, but it was fine. I would come back to order this again. The onion rings only had about 6 pieces. Taste and texture were just ok. I'll pass on the onion rings next time. I'd rather go to Jack in the Box. There are Asian menu items which are intriguing. I might try a rice bowl next time. Service was pretty quick with just 2 folks working. Indoor and outdoor dining area available. There's a walk up window outside and also a counter inside.

I think we maybe came here when I was a kid a few times, but I haven't been in so long, that we decided to try it this afternoon. As far as value goes it was pricy for what we got. Food: We shared an order of Onion Rings, and they were soooooooooooo good. fried perfectly, battered, and the perfect ratio of coating to onion, definitely going back for those. I got a single, I asked for ONLY tomatoes, swiss cheese, mustard and avocado, was handed a burger with swiss cheese, pickles, onions, lettuce, and mustard. Went back in and showed the counter person the order slip and the burger and asked if she could fix it, she made a point of telling me she took the order correctly and it was her (the cook's) fault, I told her I wasn't looking to blame anyone or argue, but I would like it if they could fix it. Still not 100% sure what that was all about, but Whatever. She did take it and have them fix it, although as they were walking back to the grill I heard the word "bacon" and was thinking it was going to need to be fixed again. Luckily they got it exactly right the second time. The problem with the burger itself was that it did not taste very good, I dunno if they use frozen bulk patties or not, but it was not very tasty, and it sort of tasted like it had been frozen. I also got a small shake, and that was fairly good. Partner got the barbeque beef sandwich, be warned it comes with pickles, so if you don't like pickles, now you know. It fell apart as soon as he picked it up, and he said all he could taste was the barbeque sauce, which was just okay. He also has a Cheeseburger, which he said wasn't worth the price, for him. He did really like his Butterscotch shake, though. Food wise it was hit and miss, The shakes and onion rings were great, weren't impressed with the sandwiches. Little confused by the defensive reaction to me asking for my burger to be fixed. So, overall, decent stop for fried snacks and shakes for sure, but I dunno if I would have a burger there again.

My grandmother and I got their Wednesday special which is your choice of a linguica or bbq beef sandwich, a small fries and drink. We chose linguica, and we also got their berry milkshake. I really really liked their fries and milkshake so much, they're the classic thick delicious diner style French fry and milkshake. The fries were fresh and crispy too. This is an old school casual burger joint for sure that reminded us a bit of a fosters freeze-esque American classic. Their service was so great, they were very kind while taking the order and everything. The food was ready very fast and packed nicely too. I'd really like to try their burgers next time and we will definitely be ordering the fries and milkshake again too

I definitely would not order the Curly Fries. They're $4 and a very teeny tiny serving. The service is always great though. So for that reason I would recommend. And of course my favorite lettuce wrapper hamburger.

I've been meaning to come here for the past year or 2 and finally got my chance! Clearly a staple in the community, as it looks like it's been here for decades. You know I'm a sucker for hole in the wall burger joints. I was a bit concerned when I walked into the restaurant to get my order at 12:30 and there was only 1 other person inside during the lunch rush. I was prepared for the worst but the years of build up for simply stopping to try this place wouldn't lower my hopes. I called in an order for 2 bacon cheeseburgers with mushrooms and fries. The fries are standard, but definitely not bad at all. They served their purpose. The burger was surprisingly big, especially for the price. This is the old school place I was anticipating it would be in all aspects. The burger was fresh and well seasoned. The only last concern was if it would make my stomach ache or something. Nobody inside, good price and flavor? This doesn't add up..... but it does! Very pleased with my experience and meal, I'm not sure how often work will bring me here but I'm definitely coming back. It's all about the small businesses and I'm glad I could do my part to support them.

CAVEAT: This is MOSTLY ONLY about their grilled cheese sandwich. I'm on a search to find the best/most consistent Grilled Cheese in Santa Clara County. I plan to share my results here along the way. Come along if you'd like I ordered a plain grilled cheese, no bacon. I love bacon, but so many places do it poorly and I just want the classic cheese and bread here, not overly greasy due to bacon. You will note, in the picture here and in the future, that I like my sandwiches REALLY well grilled. I told the lovely young woman at the counter that, "Almost burnt is just fine. Seriously." I think that if I became a regular, I might get them to grill it even further. (I get the hesitation, you do what a customer asks that's out of the ordinary, then they pitch a fit if it's not just right, then you've wasted food AND have an unhappy customer.) It was absolutely delicious and exactly what I want when I think about a grilled cheese. Plus it was made quickly, which was a huge bonus because I was already hangry! Grilled Cheese: A I asked for the fries to also be really well done and you can see that they didn't quite reach that level. But they were very crispy outside, soft inside and tasty, and got a quite generous amount, so I can't complain. Fries: B+ Other considerations - Shout out to Vicky, who seemed to get what I was looking for and told me how much she loves their grilled cheese. It was a very pleasant interaction on what had already been a difficult day. Counter Service: A The tables inside are almost all dark wood high tops, but they're clean and my stool didn't wobble. The overall effect inside is kind of dark and the enormous wall of mirror means you most likely will be seeing yourself stuff your face at some point. The space is mostly tables, small counter area, so when a group comes in, it can get loud pretty fast. A lot of people order outside at the takeout window, which helps. There is a decent outside seating area but I stayed inside. Atmosphere: B My bill was under $10 for the two items (no drink), so its very reasonably priced ! Price: A+ That adds up to a four star review in my book, ONLY for the two items I reviewed. If you don't like your burger, don't come at me. But the ice cream and milkshakes look excellent and I'll try those next time.

I odered the chili-dog for the first time this visit and glad for it. A little messy but oh so good! I haven't had a chili-dog in decades but i saw it on the menu & got a craving. Definately get the onion & cheese toppings to put it over the top and still ordered the fries as always. Perfectly cooked large steak fries... crispy golden brown outside and not dried out at all inside.

We had high hopes because of the high ratings here but the burgers were frozen patties just thawed on the grill, the ribeye burger was also previously frozen and very very dry and thin, and the service non existent! I asked for water cups (there was a pitcher of water but no cups) and the cashier so reluctantly gave me some. Same with a single plastic knife and some plates to share our orders (we ordered multiple items and wanted to divide them up). We spent over $50 here for a family of 5 and it did not reflect that!!! I recommend Los Gatos Diner as an alternative, not here.

Yum. Did takeout lunch and it was as great as ever. Yeah, I did the shrimp and french fries again. Fries were perfect even though they were in a container as I drove them home (a little more than a mile). Shrimp were also hot and crispy and perfect. I like the cup of cocktail sauce they enclosed. It was just the right amount. Hubby had cheeseburger and onion rings, and in typical fashion, he's the master of the understatement. Me: how was it Him: it was nice Which means it was executed well and he enjoyed it. Next time I think we'll eat there. The dining area is so nice and open. And there is an outdoor eating area.
