Went to this place a couple times for breakfast n it was Ok. A friend of mine wanted to do dinner so we did and I returned to Oysters n other food was OK. Not sure about it but it's close by but food just OK n maybe it's just me. Everything else was good

A friend and I met here for lunch; it was a pleasant day, so we ate outside. Service was quick and friendly. I had the Shepherd & Sims salad with chicken, and it was delicious. The chicken was juicy and tender; the rest of the salad was good, too, but the chicken was the star. We were the last customers to leave before the restaurant closed for the afternoon, but there was no pressure to get us to go, which I appreciated. I'll be back.

This is a long overdue review of Shepherd & Sims. They are located in the Cornerstone of Los Gatos Plaza and has ample parking available. The decor is nice, modern, and bright and cheery. Inside and outisde dining options to choose from. They have a nice full bar. We stopped in with friends for a bite to eat. *Cauliflower: cardamom tea infused, vadouvan curry lentils & chickpeas (no pic, 3/5). The flavors were good but not as tender as we had hoped. Also, the portion size was small, it was a quarter of a head of Cauliflower. *The Only Burger That Belongs On The Table: American cheese, bacon jam, crispy onion string, awesome sauce, pickles, lettuce, French fries (no pic, 3.5/5). Pretty good, seasoned well, decent burger. *Empanadas (no pic, 4/5) - various fillings like chicken, mushroom, cheese & jalapeño.

We were a big fan of Forthright in Campbell and were bummed when it closed. But we were excited to learn that Sheherd & Sims was owned by the same owner. We've come here twice and enjoyed it both times. Servers are friendly and attentive and we enjoy the food. My wife likes raw oysters so she gets the Sip and Slurp, and I always enjoy the One Hitter Quitter (burger with beer and a shot). Fries were crispy and light, burger was delicious. My wife also had the clams. They have Happy Hour from 2-5:30 and there was quite a crowd inside and out. They have a pretty large covered patio that's totally shaded - nice to sit out there and enjoy the nice weather. We really enjoyed our dinner here both times, and are really happy to have a good neighborhood restaurant we can walk to.

My friend and I went here for his birthday since this is one of his favorite restaurants. We picked the hamachi tiradito to share. I chose the corned beef and hash and he ordered a steak salad. The hamachi tiradito came out and it was good. The smell was a bit pungent but the taste was decent. Our entrees came out and my corned beef and hash was one of the best I ever had. Decent chunks of corned beef and potatoes with some onions and peppers throughout. Also the poached egg with the béarnaise sauce on top just made the dish. We both enjoyed the meal Service was great and they checked to make sure we got everything we needed.

We stumbled upon this spot after trying to find Hanna Noodle Bar which was next door but saw the menu and decided to stay around for the oysters The service was super prompt and they had plentiful covered heated seating great for doggos and kiddos that enjoy the outdoors. Adam our server was great he anticipated a lot of the dish needs like whether we were splitting, dressing on the side, etc super courteous of him as a server! The meal was delicious we were super impressed with the quality and the flavors. The house bread focaccia was delicious and the steak salad was also wonderful.

We have been here for many years. Foods are always excellent. They put a lot of details in every plates. I love the restaurant serve warm plate with food and freeze cup when serve icecream. Service is the top knotch as well very knowledge and informative on their menu. (They update menu every 3-4 months) Ambiance is just perfect for us. Open kitchen and open space seating but each section are devided in a perfect function. Feel like eating with friend and family in a dining room at home. LOVE THIS PLACE!

Came here on Christmas Eve with family and the warm atmosphere, good food and friendly staff really made the day. :) Food: Tuna tostada 4/5 Decent amount of tuna and the sauce has a nice kick to it! The peanuts and guacamole also complimented Curry mussels 4/5 Delicious, sweet and the mussels are very throughly washed so you don't worry about any grit. Chicken pate 4/5 Overall a sweet and savory dish that leans more into the sweetness. The toast is perfectly toasted and the hazelnuts adds a nice crunch! It feels like a Christmas appetizer. Salad 5/5 The MEAT IS ACTUALLY COOKED MED RARE. That was a great and pleasant surprise. The onions were soaked in water before so there isn't too strong of an onion taste ( good) but you get to enjoy all the crunchiness. The barley also adds fun texture. This salad is definitely a favorite and I can't wait to come back. Service: Attentive and fast! All the dishes came out quite quickly as well. Ambiance: Well decorated and welcoming. A place for all social occasions.

Since breakfast and brunch are my favorite meal, we came here for a late Mother's Day celebration. Despite being shortstaffed, they did a great job. They kept us informed, service was seamless, and everything was really good. The restaurant is in a strip mall, but it is quite cute inside.
