Superb! I wasn't expecting much, but the experience was great! Cesar salad wasn't over-dressed, and had shredded parmesan instead of thick, shavings. Seafood linguine was full of seafood for once! Could do with less cream sauce but that was easy to eat around. Gnocchi was fluffy, not dense, and the balance of sun-dried tomatoes, sausage, and mushrooms was spot on. We will be back!

Second time at Pastaria and we always have a good time. The gnocchi and the tagliatelle had amazing flavor and tasted very fresh! No complaints with the service either, they seated us early which was very nice. But the real question, why do they not have a liquor license? Their cocktails don't use real liquor in their drinks. They use "Saba" which our waiter explained is a distilled mock liquor? Our drinks tasted like juice. Their drink menu would benefit from more clearly stating what Saba is (and isn't). We felt like we got fooled because we only learned of this after we ordered and tried our drinks. Pretty disappointing!

Great options and service Frosé is a funky version of rosato. The Frosé cart outside looks cute. Summer corn pizza 4/5 Spumoni gelato 3.5/5 No pistachio. Shouldn't it have 3 distinct layers? Dark and smoky - sugar cane mocktail ear pretty unique The server was attentive, extra brownie points. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience.

Delicious food, great service, and fair prices with a cute - true Italian style. This restaurant is everything you hope for in an Italian restaurant. Authentic decor and menu. Go in Wednesday's for 50% off bottles of wine! Got the garlic Brie, meatballs, and pizza. Everything was delicious - but meatballs were best. Our server West really made our experience. He was extremely kind and thoughtful in conversations and checking in. He was also very knowledgeable of the menu. Great fall options right now! Will be back'

First of all, I have to say that the service and staff were fantastic. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with a wonderful smile. The service was excellent -- our server and busser were amazing. In fact, I can honestly say this was the best service we've had in a long time. Thank you so much for that. However, in my opinion, the overall flavor of the food fell a bit short. We started with the peach arugula salad, but the greens were cut so large that it took quite an effort to eat them. The other ingredients in the salad were very understated and got lost; honestly, I would have simply called this a mixed green salad. The pizza was good, especially the crust -- it was excellent. For the main course, we ordered the seafood pasta and the chicken parmigiana. The pasta itself was clearly fresh and hand-cut, which was impressive. However, the sauce was quite disappointing. If I order a creamy white wine seafood pasta, I expect to taste some of the sharpness of the wine, the seasoning, and especially the garlic. This one tasted purely of cream, with no depth or complexity -- it was honestly the worst pasta sauce I've ever had. As for the chicken parmigiana, it was decent. The chicken wasn't dry, but it lacked flavor. I think the restaurant could really benefit from working on their seasoning and flavoring. For dessert, the tiramisu was unfortunately bitter. Either there was too much rum or the coffee was too strong, but I couldn't taste the mascarpone or any sweetness -- it just left a very bitter taste in the mouth. Overall, the only things I truly enjoyed were the pizza crust and the pasta dough. That said, the ambiance and the flaming tables were wonderful, and we really loved the table we sat at. As I said, the only thing missing was flavor. Still, we had a lovely day, and thank you for everything.

I'm glad I tried this place in downtown Los Gatos. Parking is tricky especially on weekends so you have to find a parking lot and walk a bit. The service is good here and there's indoor and outdoor seating. To start we got the artichoke dip. The size was huge for an appetizer. The dip is super cheesy and the bread is so soft. For my first drink I got a guava mimosa. I didn't really taste any guava so I wouldn't get it again. My second drink, the lavender lemonade was so pretty and really good though. I got the burrata pizza and was excited to try it only to find out it had meat on it that was not listed on the menu in the ingredients so that was disappointing. I got the walnut pesto which came in a large quantity and was decent. The walnuts are a unique addition. We got tiramisu for dessert and it was good. There's other desserts I would try next time for sure too.

We had a pleasant family dinner - service is attentive and cordial and the overall atmosphere was great . Here's what we had: 1) we started w the bruschetta - the dough was very good and the toppings were great . Not served as per the tradition but it was a very good start (4/5) 2) burrata pizza was very good - loads of burrata and the dough was very good . Loved it (4.2/5) 3) pasta with shrimp and pancetta - the pasta itself was very tasty and fresh and all the toppings were great . I think a tadbit more mozzarella would have made it even better . (4.1/5) 4) truffle fries came in a large and tasty potion . (4/5) The cocktails were ok - the frose was pretty tasty and the amalfi spritz felt a little watery (3/5) We will be back !

A gem in Los Gatos! I love Italian food, especially handmade pasta so had to try this place. It is beautiful and inviting inside and came for lunch on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy. Started with a guava mimosa which was a nice change from a typical OJ mimosa. Ordered the spring pea salad to share and the tagilatelle with truffle cream sauce. The salad was great, not too overdressed and plenty of toppings though some of the peas were a dark brown and not sure if that was fresh or not. The pasta dish was massive and so flavorful but not too overly creamy. The chicken was incredibly dry though, but the addition of spinach, mushroom, and sun dried tomatoes evened the dish out. I did find that our server would rarely check in on us and would have to flag him down for another drink and more water. It not being busy, I found that odd, but did like that they let us stay as long as we needed without feeling rushed out. Would definitely be back to try their other dishes.

Came here for lunch. Great atmosphere. Great service. Get the burrata pizza, and the seafood linguine. Both were so good! Definitely a spot we'll come back to.
