We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful hotel with breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge! From the moment we arrived, we felt so warmly welcomed. The staff—especially Luis, George, and Patrick—were outstanding: attentive, kind, and genuinely thoughtful in everything.

The spa was absolutely stunning, it offer a serene, rejuvenating experience. The amenities were top-notch, with a heated outdoor pool, infrared saunas, and separate jacuzzis for men and women. I especially loved the unique tea bar in the healing center (the spa). The matcha super latte was so delicious. The entire resort made each moment feel special.

The food was another highlight—both the restaurant and room service were beyond delicious and so convenient. The pistachio cheesecake was my personal favorite!

The Lexus experience, with private drives into Sausalito, was the perfect touch! It made for an unforgettable day out. While I didn’t make it to yoga this trip, the daily sessions sounded like a beautiful way to start the morning. I’ll definitely be back to take a class!

Overall, our stay was truly magical. This hotel provides an experience like no other. I highly recommend it!!

Loved the location. Property is huge and it was a busy weekend—the service was pleasant but impersonal. The restaurant is decent but not great, and the spa was wonderful. The “historic” rooms could use updating. In our room there was no temperature control—the front desk said if it’s too hot just open a window!

Beautiful drive down to the property,  and a very friendly check- in where guests were offered wine while waiting, strangers chatted and the vibe was happy. We opted for a contemporary room and loved the warmth and quiet. Very comfortable space, the amenities were on point, we felt relaxed and welcomed. Absolutely the best coffee I've ever had in my room. Room service was surprisingly prompt and upbeat. Our room service experience was all about hot delicious fare, completely beyond our expectations. Fantastic cocktails! Best nights sleep in a hotel in years. Absolute best views of the Golden Gate and hikes without compare. We'll be back!

We have previously stayed here. Once in 2020, 2022 and again this past weekend. The last two visits have been sub par. The staff in the spa(except the masseuse) have been pretentious and uninterested, borderline rude. The highlights were the front desk staff, our service at the restaurant(not the bar), and the valet service. The cocktails were disappointing and took a very long time to arrive. The food was ok but we ended going out the second night to a nicer restaurant in Sausalito. The housekeepers are rude and couldn’t be bothered to bring us ice or a wine opener. The pool and pool furniture is dated, dirty and in desperate need of replacement. Other than the beautiful location Cavallo Point Lodge sits on, this is far from a luxury hotel. You’re better off staying at Stanley Ranch, Auberge, Solage or Post Ranch. Those are luxury resorts that have impeccable service, friendly staff and superior cleaner and updated facilities.

I recently had the pleasure of working an event at Cavallo Point and I must say the hospitality I received from all the staff members, including the event manager and her assistant (Male - cannot remember his name) was unmatched. They treated us as if we were a guest staying at their establishment. I will recommend this venue to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality surrounded by the most beautiful landscape.
