Food was really really good. The cabbage was sooo good and the meats were also delicious. The fried rice was also great and I like how they cut up the beef so theres some in every bite. All the dishes were very rich in taste but that made them very delicious. The charsiu was super sweet and I loved the beans that came with it. Service was okay though, they were a bit slow during the lunch rush and a little chaotic, but maybe its because they had opened recently. The store is nice and clean! Its very casual and fast paced though. I like the design and look though, it feels very modern!

I had a decent experience! I'd love to come back again in the future because they were completely sold out of duck, charsiu pork, and soy sauce chicken at 3 pm :( I would recommend the Beef Brisket Rice Rolls! These are pretty oily, but so flavorful! A good portion size and super tender beef. I enjoyed this! The Golden Suancai (large) was indeed REALLY LARGE! This was enough for 3-4 of us to share comfortably. The flavor of the broth wasn't as sour as I had hoped. The fish, lotus root, and sauerkraut were delicious though!

An interesting restaurant concept unfortunately tainted by a bad experience. I arrived as a party of 5 on a Sunday at around 1pm and waited about 30-40 minutes to be seated. Once we did get seated and looked at the ordering tablet, we realized everything on the bbq meats section was sold out! While I understand the restaurant is undoubtedly popular, the fact that they just let their 5 most popular dishes run out not even 3 hours into their day's service is hilariously bad, especially since this is what they're known for. The worst part is, we were not told that they were out/were expected to run out at any point during our wait. We decided to sunk cost it and eat here anyways, but it was such a waste of time and I personally would've walked out. They're open until 8pm so I assume they have to restock at some point, but at the very least let people waiting to be seated know! As for what we did get, they were just ok. The chow fun was somewhat bland and the tomato fish was really ketchupy and sweet which was not my thing. The suan cai yu was good but nothing standout. The best thing we ordered were the salt and pepper chicken wings. Unfortunately I'm writing this review while still pretty upset about the whole situation, so at present I don't think I will be going back or I will only stick to getting their BBQ meats togo.

I stopped by Jin Gege and Yao Yao for dinner and tried the soy sauce chicken and fish stir fry. The soy sauce chicken was tender, with a rich soy flavor and it wasn't too sweet. It goes well with a bowl of rice. The fish stir fry was tasty, and I liked that the celery stayed nice and crisp. The restaurant is casual and the service is quick. You order through a tablet. Prices are reasonable and the food came out hot and yummy. It's a great spot for comforting dishes. I'll definitely be back to try more items from the menu. Bonus, they offer a free Suan Cai Yu on your birthday! I took a photo of the promotion. It's dine-in only and you need to show your ID.

For starters, pretty authentic Cantonese/HK food. Loved the aesthetic and felt right at home. Service was attentive, but both times we went they forgot an item. For the price, it is reasonable! Food: I thought the Peking Duck was average, though I generally don't like Peking Duck. Thought it was a lot of skin and barely any meat. I tried the honey BBQ pork and I thought it was a solid 10/10 Chow Fun was solid but nothing to rave about. Sour fish soup was solid 10/10! Parking sucks, go there early.

Newly opened next to Shihlin snack shop. Draws in the crowds with a wait around 20 minutes. You add yourself to the waitlist on the kiosk. There is only one kiosk. Had a birthday lunch for my sister. The place is trendy and modern. They have 2 gender neutral bathrooms. You order from a tablet. They have a slew of food, desserts and drinks to choose so be prepared by looking at their paper menus while you wait. The food came out promptly after we finished each dish. Their hot tea is good. We ordered the pork belly, stir fried lamb and stir fried green bean and pork. Rice you will need to order. Pork belly skin was salty and lamb was thinly sliced and flavorful. It wasn't too spicy. String bean wasn't as spicy either. The dried spice adds another flavor to the dish. Be sure to drink each time you eat that dish. Speedy and courteous service. Booth seating doesn't leave much space scooting in. I ordered their soy sauce chicken to go and it's definitely their #1 dish. I will return to try the rest of their dishes. Overall 4 stars.

Noticed this new restaurant open in Milpitas Square and decided to give it a try. They were extremely busy on a Sunday afternoon and I still had to wait even after placing a phone order (30 minute total wait time). I wanted to order their Macau roasted pork belly and crispy roasted duck, but they were sold out. Instead, I got their HK soy sauce chicken which was really tender and flavorful. It came with a pretty generous portion for a half size and paired well with rice. I also ordered the roasted pork tofu clay pot which was also really tasty. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes in the future!

Arrived super excited for dinner at 8:30 PM on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant itself is spacious, brightly lit, clean, and beautifully designed. Unfortunately, the Golden Char Siu and the Macau Roasted Pork Belly dishes were already sold out - which was incredibly disappointing. Looking at the remainder of the massive menu, there just wasn't anything else enticing enough to try, given the two most popular dishes were unavailable. Excited to come back again another time to try these dishes!

We've been to Jingege & YaoYao in San Leandro. Now, they have a location in Milpitas! They take over where Loving Hut used to be located. This location has a bit more selection of dishes than the one in SL. The parking can be challenging especially on the weekends. The restaurant's two color scheme is to show the two different restaurants but you can order from either menu using their kiosk that they provide for you when you sit down. Booth and table seating available. Two separate multi-user men and women's restrooms. Be careful, as the floor can get slippery especially on rainy days. Service: The service is very friendly, helpful, and attentive. They do offer hot tea or a carafe of ice water. Food: We ordered the following... Soy Sauce Chicken (half order, 3.5/5) . The sauce was good. Though, the chicken was chewing than expected and didn't come off the bone as easily. Beef Brisket Rice Roll Pot (4/5). The rice rolls were tender and soft. The brisket was flavorful and tender. We both liked this dish. Steamed Rice (4/5). Long grain rice nicely cooked to absorb all that delicious sauce. I am so glad this location is closer to us.

TLDR: Top 5 BBQ Pork. My wife disagrees, but... this is MY review! I REALLY REALLY love their BBQ pork. It has everything I wanted... the sweet caramelized sauce on top... the juicy flavorful meat.. Sure, it is extra fatty! But that's what makes the meat so juicy! This is definitely in my top 5 char siu in the Bay Area... maybe even all of California. My wife still prefers the original Cheung Hing in SF Sunset District. For that alone, I'm giving this place 5 stars. But, we ordered more stuff, which kinda paled in comparison. The chinese lettuce was ok. The same dish we had in Milbrae's Wonkok was better. It just didnt have much taste on the outside... tasted like lettuce. We also made the mistake of ordering the curry as well. According to my wife, HK curry isn't spicy at all. But I've learned that the Bay Area HK curry IS. This one was particularly spicy for us, so we couldn't enjoy it that much. I'm definitely coming back here, just for the BBQ dish. Unfortunately when we went, the roast pork was sold out, so I really want to try it the next time!
