We used Stuart Event Rentals to supply tables, chairs, linens and chafers for my retirement party. They delivered on time and as promised. Through no fault of Stuarts, some volunteers at our event inadvertently discarded the linens! We worked with Gwendolyn at Stuart's regarding our debacle and she did so honestly and fairly to come up with a number for our error. Despite the mishap, I would highly recommend Stuart's and look forward to working with them again.

We use them for an annual outdoor party and they always arrive and pick up on time, with all the tables/chairs/linens in good shape. Their customer service is very responsive and the price is right. Note: when your get the stacked chairs ask the delivery guys to open or loosen the straps - it's really hard to do on your own.

I am so happy with my decision to use Stuart Rentals for my party. I was working with them for months leading up to my event to fine tune what we needed for a backyard cocktail party. The website was really easy to navigate and order, and the staff was available for any questions. We ordered a full bar with 2 bar backs, 45 chairs, 4 buffet tables, 10 cocktail tables, 4 banquet tables and linens for the buffet tables. Delivery was smooth and everything was wrapped well and looked great. The chairs were the only exception and we took some photos and called the customer service line and they replaced them the next morning, with plenty of time before the party. Pick up was equally as seamless, the team took great care with the rentals and my home. I will absolutely hire them again - it was a great experience.

I don't usually give 5 stars on Yelp because I try to maintain objectivity, but I don't think there is anything that Stuart could have done better. We had a small event with about 40 people, and they came and delivered right on time, made it super easy, and then picked it up right after as well. It was just an end-to-end happy experience, and I will definitely use them again.

I used Stuart Event Rentals for my husband's 50th surprise birthday party on 10/21/23. I had never planned a party that size before. I decided to save money by doing most of the planning myself. I met Lorie at Stuart Event Rentals and she made the process very easy. Even when a snag occurred she was quick to assist to make sure what I needed made its way to the venue in time for the big party. I am grateful for Lorie's help in making my husband's birthday a HUGE success.

To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. But let's start on a high note. Keri is GREAT to work with. Her care and customer support was outstanding and this review is in no way a reflection on her at all. Since it had been a few years since I'd organized a large event, I wanted to be very hands on with the items I was picking out. Not to mention our boss is very particular with the style and quality of any rental. I'd worked with William's Rental many times over the years and knew their quality was good so knowing Stuart had purchased William's I didn't go in with much hesitation. We called ahead and scheduled an appointment to meet with Keri at their Milpitas location. I emailed her the items I was interested in and asked to see them when we visited the showroom which she had pulled when we arrived. Keri took very good care of us as we walked the showroom choosing plates, glassware, chairs etc. Then we went in the back to look at the couches and tables that were pulled for us. LOVED them! My co-worker and I felt really excited about what we'd picked out and very satisfied that we'd made the right choice by choosing Stuart. The day our rentals arrived ... my heart sank and my blood boiled. The couch and tables we originally saw were still nice but a little more tattered than I remember. There were tears in the material and the fabric was pretty dirty. We removed the cushions and had to vacuum the crumbs left by previous evets. Then I saw the gold Chiavari chairs .... these were in TERRIBLE condition. Black duct tape on the seats that was very visible even when the cushions were set in place. This was just unacceptable. We had to tighten all the screws on each chair and barstool because they were all loose and caused the chairs to be unsafe. There were two that were completely unusable. Benches were trashed. Scratched all over and chunks of wood were missing. We spend over an hour trying to color match the stain to hide the marks. These literally looked like there were picked up on the side of the road. Lamp Posts were super wobbly and also in poor condition. Lycra table covers were marked up and thinning. Several had holes. Overall I was very upset with 90% of our rental choices. None of this stuff should ever have been rented out and because of that, we will never use Stuart or recommend them to anyone. Actually, I will recommend they steer clear of this place unless quality isn't a concern. This makes me sad because Keri was such a pleasure to work with. She's the only reason they deserve a star.
