l organized a group event where we rented out 5 boats and they did an amazing job of making it an easy process. From booking to corralling our large group, they were very responsive, helpful and patient. They offer group rate pricing for larger reservations which is amazing and this is probably one of the nicest and cleanest Duffy boat rental facilities in Newport. We did the 2 hour boat ride and we got through the route pretty fast and were able to do an extra loop to use our time. Overall great experience!

My friend rented one of the duffy boats out for her birthday this past weekend. Our scheduled time was at 1:30 pm for a 2 hour boat ride. We checked in at the front upon arrival. As we all waited outside, a guy also asked for our reservation. About 20 minutes later, my friend decided to check with the front for an update. We were told both parties were waiting on each other due to miscommunication. We end up boarding shortly after, but was only given 1 hour 30 minutes instead of the full 2 hours :( I've been to a few duffy boat companies and was a bit disappointed by this. Wait aside, the boat was clean, organized, and has everything you need (table, cup holders, bluetooth). Hoping we can get a better experience in the future.

The staff were all very nice. Informative and kept everything relaxed. Boat was clean and comfortable. I even fell asleep, best nap in years. Believe them about not much parking. There's parking and there were open spots when we got there and when we left (11 am - 1:40 pm), but I best on a nice day they are busy and they would fill up fast.

This is my Duffy rental place of choice! The location is easy to get to, the staff is very nice and accommodating- the boats are fantastic! Love the lounge area on the dock too! Always a great time

Great experience with Duffy Boat rentals. Boat was clean and well maintained. Staff at the front desk and on the dock was extremely friendly and helpful. Very professional operation. Will certainly do it again.

We went on a 2 hour cruise and didn't ship wreck so I'm able to give a review. The boats was in great shape. Only 4 of us were going. We brought the dogs, snacks and drinks! It was a beautiful day not too much wind and not high tide so we were able to get under some of the bridges with plenty of headroom to spare. We went around the harbor twice and just took it the scenery and peaceful day on the water.

The boats are always clean and ready to go. The dock staff are personable and helpful. They are delightful and clean up as needed. Parking is horrible. The website states 2 cars per boat. That is not enforced and it's a problem. Parking on the street and crossing Coast Highway with no traffic signal is harrowing and dangerous. Those at the front desk can only shrug their shoulders. My suggestion is to issue parking passes for each boat and enforce it with towing. Duffy rides are a delightful experience! I say try to make it so from start to finish.

The staff at Duffy are great, from check in to coming back in in the boat were great. Boats are clean, first class! we will be back next year.

It's been quite a while since our last rental. We had some family in town for their first visit to CA and thought this was a special treat and activity to do. It was easy to book online. We chose a Friday evening date. Easy to find location on PCH. Small and tricky parking lot available but you might also find some street parking nearby. Once parked, walk all the way down to dock behind building. There are also restrooms and a small gift shop as well as a relaxing patio area. We brought light snacks onto the boat including charcuterie, beverages, chips, etc. I also recommend maybe some hand sanitizer and wipes, napkins and paper towels ( for any spills, etc) as well as a garbage bag. A blanket or two might also be good. The staff will take your garbage at the end. We did not get any ice. We tooled around the Back Bay for almost two hours before returning to the dock at 8pm. The boat was clean, modern and had Bluetooth to connect your device for music, etc. The weather was perfect. You do not need to know how to drive a boat per se but you do need to respect the right of way traffic, larger vessels, as well as residents who reside along the back bay. I suggest keeping the speed down a little for a slower pace smooth ride. It's just very peaceful than trying to hurry your way through the Bay. Also, keep in mind the time spent getting off and away from the dock and gauge that amount to get you back. We spent about 45 minutes tooling around until we had to change direction and head back. Easy to get on and off boat. We had two 80+ year old guests with us and they managed find. Seems also accessible if you have some mobility issues but I would check with the Duffy Staff. Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. We definitely won't wait that long to do this again. Reasonably priced overall. We had nine guests. Dog friendly but we opted to leave ours at home. We then headed to Rusty Pelican for dinner at 8:30pm - highly recommend making a dinner reservation somewhere to extend the vibes! Thanks again, Duffy Boats!

This place is awesome. There is parking down the street behind Starbucks or along PCH is the parking lot is full ( small lot). The staff are very friendly and super organized. The pricing is great and they do honor military discounts. The boats are what make it. They are clean and in great shape. The bay does get busy so keep your wits about you but if you enjoy the water and want to make a day special then this is good option. We went here as part of my birthday celebration and it was great. Two to three hours is perfect amount of time to enjoy yourself. The boats have an open back deck that you can enjoy or you can go inside and stay covered.
