I used N&D for my bartending needs. It was a small party, so I only needed one person to handle the bar. The bartender was there on time (30m before the party). He was dressed very appropriately for the event, and looked very professional. He set everything up, and got to work. His service was very hig quality. All my guests were having fun that night, with the help of the alcohol. I was very satisfied, and would definitely use them again.

For our remote wedding in Big Sur, I was really worried about how to find service staff for the evening. Night and Day Productions sent two well-qualified servers who kept things running smoothly throughout the night and kept committed through clean-up into the evening. For an 80-person event throughout a large house, we hired 2 servers, but I feel like we misjudged and should have hired 3-4 servers. I felt like everyone was working hard, but I don't think I correctly estimated our events space and guest count correctly, so I wanted to pass on a word of caution. The evening went well, but it could have been smoother!

this business is the most unprofessional company i have ever dealt with. There server was late and Actually was not supposed to be doing the job we hired a grill master to do. they never responded back to my calls the day of my event and made my event late. i had to postpone my guests arrivals and created problems for my guests.

Do not book with this company. I initially was not going to write a Yelp review. However, after expressing my dissatisfaction to the company in over 3 separate emails with no apology whatsoever I feel it is my duty. I am a personal chef and had hired this company for a private formal dinner at my client's home. The initial correspondence between myself and this company was fine. They received a deposit, I signed a contract explaining my need for a formally trained server and they said they could accommodate. In the days prior to the event my client asked if the server could pour some champagne and simple mixed drinks for guests during cocktail hour, I wrote the company and didn't hear back from them until the day before the event, they said that would be no problem. On the day of the event the server arrived earlier than I requested, but she was already considered "late" from the time she was designated to be there from the company. I gave her an overview of her duties, pretty routine stuff for a server. When I brought her to the dining room table, she straight up said to me "I don't do many formal parties." My heart sank, but I was optimistic and gave her as much guidance as I could. She did not know how to pour drinks. She did not assist guests with hors d'oeuvres. She did however hang around myself in the kitchen asking what she should be doing.. all night. I had to tell her when and how to do everything. She then had the audacity to ask me when she could have a break to eat, because she had a long car ride. I said you're probably not going to have a time for that, do you have a sandwich or something ready to go? "No." She said "Usually at catering events there's food I can eat from that's leftover." Excuse me? So not only do you want a break while I need you to be on your A game, but I need to feed you from my client's food as well? I was becoming less optimistic. When it came time to serve guests a formal meal, she poured warm water in the drinking glasses. My client requested all of them to be refilled with chilled water. All of this happening while my salad is plated and wilting in the kitchen waiting for my server to complete the task of filling water. I'm no longer optimistic. She did not know how to accommodate guests, serve food, pick up plates/silverware, served the wrong dishes to the wrong people (even with a diagram), and also left guests without dishes. When it came time for coffee I had to instruct her how to make a pot, even though we reviewed it at the beginning of the evening. Keep in mind I am cooking and plating a formal 3 course meal for 12 while she's asking me how to make coffee. "Someone wants tea!" She exclaimed to me while shes pouring coffee. Okay.. so there's instant hot water, cups, and there's tea bags. Guess who had to pour the hot water, plate tea bags for guests, and cut lemons? Not her. Me. Then, I found out at the end of the evening, she served coffee to everyone BUT my client. The most important person. She did her best to help clean-up, but it was not done the way a professional server would have done it. Cleaning dishes for a party has to be done as you go, not at the end of the night. I was constantly washing dishes in between plating courses because she was lagging so hard on it. When her 5 hours were up, she requested to leave because she had no service and couldn't contact her boss. Even though there was much more work to do, I had to stay an additional hour and hand wash my client's crystal myself. The company mentioned they would be able to stay as late, and for as many hours as I needed them on contract, but I was left high and dry. It made an awful impression on a first time client of mine. Once the evening was all over, I immediately was charged for the server. But, I noticed they charged me full price on top of the deposit I had already sent. So not only was the service not up to par, but I had to pay extra for it.. I immediately emailed the company with my concerns and expressed my dissatisfaction. I did not hear back from them for two days. When they did reply they said "Thanks for using our service! We appreciate your business! We had a glitch in accounting and your deposit will be returned to you. We hope you work with us again!" Are you kidding? Did you completely gloss over the paragraph I wrote to you about how your service was not professional? I replied again, telling them to re-read the message I sent to them and that's why I won't be working with them again. I was hoping for someone to acknowledge what happened that evening and offer an apology. I still have not heard a reply, or an apology. Very unprofessional.

Our wedding day was tad more magical with Night and Day Productions! Thank you again to the entire NDP team for making our wedding day special. They were speedy with setting up for our cocktail hour and reception; and quick with the clean up. The night ran so smoothly. Our guests thoroughly loved your company. The staff were all professional and super friendly. Thanks for everything! We'll definitely keep in touch for future parties/events!

Night & Day is simply amazing! Instead of using one catering service for our wedding, we decided on three food trucks (In N Out, King Taco, and Shrimp Daddy). We realized there would not be a central catering company help take care of serving, bussing, and doing overlooked tasks such as refilling guests water, etc. Night & Day was the perfect answer for all of our potential issues. The serve staff was kind and did such a great job at keeping the guests happy and keeping our tables clean! We have used them multiple times for CCL Weddings and we love them! Thank you for being a huge part of our special day!

I own a restaurant in Paso Robles and I connected with Jennifer, their CEO to get two line cooks for this busy Wine Festival Weekend. I paid a deposit and assumed they would follow-up with their staff to ensure they would show up. The first line cook was to arrive at 4:00 pm yesterday, Friday, May 18, and the second at 5:00 pm. By 4:36 pm no line cook had arrived. I called their 800 number and was told someone would check into it and get back to me. By 5:00 pm the second person had not shown up and I had not received a call back from Night & Day Productions. I called them again. I was told Jennifer was out walking her dog and she would get back to me. At this point, as a good business owner, I would have picked up the phone and called me back ASAP to say they would take care of things. NO call back. I made my last call at 5:25 pm but still no call back from anyone. It is now the next morning and still no call back, no explanation for what happened. I lost several thousand dollars last night, all because Night & Day did not ensure I was staffed. I would not recommend them.

WARNING!!!!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! I made the mistake of not looking up their reviews and have now learned what happened to me at our son's birthday is a HABIT for them! I booked with them 5 months before the event. When it came time to booking and collecting deposits they hounded me. After that they just disappeared. I was told I was being sent a female bartender name Lyndee. I asked to see her picture to make sure she fit our event. Day of our event a lady who looked like she walked off the street showed up 20 minutes late. Had a very bad attitude. Then said she had to do her makeup and left for another 20 minutes. We were throwing a Luau and asked our bar host to wear a tropical outfit. I still can't figure out what she was wearing. By the time she put on her makeup she was so behind at the bar and never caught up for the entire event. During my party is was brought to my attention she was very very rude to my guests. Rude to my husband who was trying to help her. She had no idea how to mix drinks. The ingredients the owner Jennifer told me to buy for Mai Tais were not even used. Regardless I tipped her at the end of the event. Later I found out she also took at tip from my brother in law and what really made me mad is what she PUT OUT A TIP JAR after I left the bar area and collected tips from my guests. THIS WAS A PRIVATE PARTY!!!! These were my guests!!!! They should not be asked to tip anyone at a party!!!!She did not ask if she should put out a tip jar. She collected a lot of money and walked out of our event. Since I have been trying to contact the owners Jennier and Erin from the company and no one has returned my emails or calls for 4 days. Consider yourself lucky if you are reading this review. I just saved you from allowing an unprofessional and terrible company from being a part of an event you are spending time and money to put together. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!

We used Night & Day Productions for serving and set-up purposes for our wedding. Erin, the office manager, was our contact person and was responsive through email. On the day of the wedding, many of the servers were friendly and efficient. Monique was awesome and made sure I was eating (even a light snack). The banquet captain, Darren, was also great. He checked up on us (the bride & groom) at times and made sure things were in order, as some things can go wrong at a wedding. Overall, I am grateful for the services they provided and thankful they made my wedding possible!

We hired a couple of bartenders from here and we have had an amazing experience both times. They both arrived early to prep the bar and they were great with our guests. I would highly recommend Night and Day Productions to everyone.
