My buddy and I tried this place after a Real Estate mastermind we attended at a nearby venue. Thankfully, I had already parked since finding a spot on the street can be challenging.  I wanted to sit outside but it was far too hot and the air conditioning felt good indoors.  The drinks are great, the food is great but the restaurant is very loud and the prices are unnecessarily high.  It’s fine for special occasions but not on a frequent basis.  Would I come here again?   Absolutely.  However, I’m sure there are other options in the area that are less costly.

This is a great place to eat outside on a nice day in downtown Sacramento. The tortilla chips with 2 different salasa go great with a beer on tap. I recommend the Taco Truck Larger, it's served extra cold with a lime. I paired this with the Baja Fish Tacos. Crispy and lightly battered, the tacos come with cilantro lime rice and black beans, yum! If you're lucky enough to have Albert as your server, you will be perfectly attended to.

Great trendy vibe spot in midtown sacramento. We stopped by for a bite to eat before a concert at the Golden 1 Center. We were seated on the outside patio. Our server EV was exceptional in recommendations & very polite. Service was fast & the prices were reasonable.

My wife wants me to bring me to this restaurant for awhile and I must say the food is great go check out the food we ate.

The bathroom is clean not smelly which is good when we go to restaurant ut has always to be clean.

Also when we get there we sat at 4 person table but it's 5 of us.... I had to sit outside the table walkway which is not a good place to sit on. We rather sit on a big table so we can enjoy to sit properly and enjoy our food. Coming back here....? Nope. It's better for party of 2-3 people 4 it's ok 5 or more people just eat somewhere else.

Parking if you get lucky to find on the street if not you'll have to pay inside the parking lot and walk a few blocks.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff. The night started with an order of tableside guac, which was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend ordering the enchiladas guanajuato. The enchiladas were beautifully plated, and every bite was a savory delight.
Evey detail, from the impeccable service to the beautifully plated dishes, made this a dining experience to remember. If you're looking for upscale mexican cuisine that honors tradition with a refined touch, Zócalo is a must visit.

Min vän och jag behövde inga reservationer för lunch på en söndag. 
Jag hade en modern tolkning av KYCKLING TORTILLA SOPPA. 
Den hade ovanliga ingredienser som hackad grönkål, tärnad sötpotatis och vita bönor, med förväntad fin tomatbuljong, vitt kycklingkött och tortillaremsor.

Personalen livlig och glad. Hade utsökt lunch utomhus. Sittande och atmosfär var perfekt. Omgivningen fantastisk. Bra ställe att koppla av.

Hade en bra tid ute på denna restaurang. Jag älskade känslan när vi gick in genom dörrarna och satte oss. Tortillachipsförrätten var utsökt! Lätta och krispiga tortillachips som inte är för tunga. Jag åt definitivt för många av tortillachipsen! Levereras med salsa och en svart böndip som toppas med riven ost. 

Jag beställde räktacos. Fin presentation med färska ingredienser. Menyn säger att denna rätt har en habanerosås (eller något sådant) , men jag smakade ingen värme på denna rätt. Anmärkning: De lägger en skiva jalapenopeppar på varje taco. Även om jag kan hantera några VARMA kryddor, bestämde jag mig för att ta bort jalapeñon. 

Servicen var utmärkt. Värdinnan välkomnade oss i och snabbt satt oss. Vår servitör var mycket uppmärksam och såg till att vi hade vad vi behövde under hela vår tid där på Zocalo's.

Vi var på Zocalo 3 år sedan under ett besök i Sacramento, vi njöt av det och var glada att det fortfarande är mycket populär. Vi åkte en fredag tidig kväll, hann precis komma in innan det blev riktigt hektiskt. Vi älskade maten och servicen, mycket trevligt ställe att äta med vänner och familj. Ett stort klagomål denna gång. Vi åt inomhus för att det var en varm dag, cheferna bestämde sig för att öppna upp skjutfönstren, eftersom det höll på att svalna. MEN som släppte in en svärm FLUGOR. Under middagen slog vi bort flugor, inte trevligt!

Bra kundservice och bra mat. Det är en av dessa platser när du är i Sacramento du vill gå. . 
Stämningen är supercool.

Detta är vår väg - att placera nära vårt hus. Rekommendera det till alla i området. Vi älskar särskilt bönorna här och doppet de tar med för chips. Alla förrätter är bra.

Det enda som hindrade mig från att ge dem 5 stjärnor var tjänsten och ljudnivån. Det är mycket trevligare att sitta ute, men det var fortfarande lite kallt detta tidigt på säsongen och vår servitris verkade överväldigad med andra bord för att ge oss mycket uppmärksamhet.

Stoppade här för ett glas vin efter middagen. Vi har inte varit här på förmodligen fem år, men det var väldigt upptaget och roligt på en torsdagskväll. Vi kommer tillbaka!

Besökte denna plats med vänner för födelsedagsfirande, mycket besviken över den service vi fick från vårt servernamn Jordan, vi är i en grupp av 9, min man och jag kom efter att alla satt, han kom för att kolla bordet två gånger och ignorera oss och väntade tills jag fick uppmärksamhet på att beställa en drink, vi nämner att vi satt senare som han antagligen redan känner men inte bry sig om att vi skulle ha något att dricka och väntade tills vi frågade och beställde. Dryck serverades och vi nämner att han gav fel, brydde sig inte om att ändra den så jag bestämde mig för att få uppmärksamheten hos chefen som är mycket vänlig och tillmötesgående (det enda skälet till att jag gav denna recension två stjärnor). Middagen serveras, servern har inte ens följt upp eller gjort någon kvalitetskontroll om maten är god eller inte, soppa var kall och samma som andra huvudrätter som serverades. Helt besviken och skulle inte komma tillbaka igen på grund av vår erfarenhet. Ledsen att säga men jag märker att andra serverar ett bättre jobb och pekar på cheferna eftersom de är fantastiska och vänliga! fel natt, fel server! besviken kund!

Bor i Sacramento, jag hittar inte ofta ett fantastiskt rum när jag ska äta. Zocalo gav den kombinationen av god mat, dryck, service och ett fantastiskt utrymme.

Vi älskar att komma till zocalo. De har många alternativ för hela familjen. Stor atmosfär, mat och dryck, plus att det är högt så att barnen kan njuta av sig själva.

Utmärkt mat och ännu bättre service. Skålarna är fantastiska och fyllda med godhet och friskhet. Skulle rekommendera

Zocalo är en mexikansk restaurang i centrala Sacramento som jag har gått förbi så många gånger och äntligen haft möjlighet att besöka under de ångande varma sommarmånaderna.

Först är inuti restaurangen lite överdådig. Det verkar som om ägarna inte har något emot att fixa det för att vara iögonfallande. Det är som att vara i en $$$ - $$$$ restaurang utan dessa prislappar. Det verkar vara platsen att gå på middag på en vardag eller helgen. Jag gick på besök på en veckodag för att äta middag med en vän.

Jag beställde ceviche de guaymas med vit fisk istället för räkor tillsammans med en 24 oz flaska av en IPA som de hade på deras drink meny. Ceviche de Guaymas inkluderar pico de gallo, avokado, gurka, rädisa, Z Calo het sås och färsk tortilla chips, allt för $ 12. Detta är en ganska stor skål med ceviche så gör inte misstaget och tänk att det är en aptitretare. Det är definitivt en måltid! Smaken av ceviche var trevlig och full av olika smaker som smälte ihop mycket bra med fisken och andra ingredienser. Detta är några av de bästa ceviche som jag någonsin har haft på en restaurang! Om du gillar eller älskar IPA öl rekommenderar du att du får den på deras meny som kommer i 24 oz flaskan!

Jag kan inte vänta med att gå tillbaka för mer av deras ceviche. Jag kan aldrig få nog!

Det här är en ny favorit av mig. Först var jag lite bortskämd eftersom det var ett stort fotbollsmatch, så det var allt bullrigt. Men när maten var serverad. . . Åh min! Det var utsökt. Denna plats är faktiskt riktigt bra för crunch och frukost, och jag antar detsamma för middag. En vegetarisk kan ha en god måltid här. De är bra för grupper stora och små. Restaurangen är beatifully dekorerade. Vi går här när vi är i närheten. Om du går här måste du prova sitt ris! Jag glömde vad den kallas, men den är grön och DELICIOUS. Jag älskar den här platsen.

Vi hittar alltid maten anständigt, margaritas stora. Men ljudet och den hektiska publiken, gör detta till en "inte så kul plats att koppla av.
