Such a fun night with amazing food and wine. We started out with the bread and then moved to Tuna Tartare and fried squash blossoms. My youngest ordered off of the kids menu and oldest ordered muscle linguine. We tried the beat salad and Italian chapped salad and they were great.

Great Italian food, best near balboa! Has fresh takes on traditional dishes and wonderful pasta selections, a bit heavy on the red sauces though. Our server was informative and patient, our food was fresh, colorful, and tasty, the atmosphere was peaceful and you weee comforted by the presence of others but could still hear clearly around your own conversation with each other and the staff

Such a long standing staple in Bankers Hill! Haven’t been to CUCINA Urbana in years and years but it was as good and consistent as it was my first time here (been four times i believe). The atmosphere, the service the food and the drinks are all top notch!  Would have never thought of getting squash blossoms but the people I was with wanted and damn, were they amazing!  Definitely recommend them!

Overall good, but not amazing. We had:

Drink: 3.5/5 decent but nothing extraordinary.

Tempura stuffed squash flower: 4/5 good, not as amazing as other reviews make it out to be. Tempura flower is quite bland, and stuffed with goat cheese which I'm not a big fan of.

Margherita pizza: 3.5/5 nothing extraordinary here, but decent.

Mushroom agnolotti: 5/5 wow the sauce is so flavorful and mushrooms are so damn good. Like plate-licking good. Pasta also great, with stuffed cream. Except the portion is ridiculously small, like 8 pasta total 😂 You can finish the whole plate in 5 bites.

Expected a lot more from a Michelin Gourmand restaurant. Cocktails were great, but food missed the mark. Pizza was drowning in ricotta and was too soggy to even pick up a slice. The balance of flavors in the dishes were all off - far too much fats with zero spice and acidity.
