Tried many flavors in the store. This place really does not disappoint! Their basic flavors like cookies and cream and vanilla Have some uniqueness to it compared to what you would find elsewhere like Baskin-Robbins.

Candy Cane had strong flavors of candy cane. Not overly sweet, and they were able to balance the sweetness and the peppermint in their ice cream. Very good!

Honey lavender had a decently creamy texture. Had a strong floral scent, but not overpowering. Not too sweet. Very good!

Eggnog was absolutely the best I have ever tried! The employees told me that each scoop had roughly one teaspoon of brandy. The alcohol was strong, but overall a very strong balance of flavors.

Their ricanelas, triple chocolate coconut,  and pumpkin cheesecake were beautiful done. The texture of the triple chocolate was velvety and the taste of coconut was apparent. The ricanelas was pleasantly sweet, and not overpowering. All three of these flavors managed to balance, sweetness, and richness beautifully.

Overall, they do not skimp on the ingredients, and they are not cheap with it. The quality of the vast majority of their flavors are apparent to the taste. Definitely the top three ice cream shops in San Francisco. I will definitely visit again. Can’t wait for their next seasonal flavors!

Popular ice cream store near Dolores park and for good reason! I've always seen a line outside the store, and large ones on the weekend.
They offer free tasting for customers and the staff was very friendly. There are some unique flavors and definitely are interesting ones that I haven't seen in other ice cream stores. Sesame was quite interesting but I was in the mood for coffee and I enjoyed the tiramisu (contains alcohol) and coffee toffee scoops in a waffle cone.
There are also vegan ice creams here but there aren't any sugar free or low calorie options that I do hope they add for diabetics and health conscious folks. Hope to be back soon!

Very convenient location next to Dolores park, so it makes it easy to grab a snack! Ice cream balls are big which was nice and they have a big selection of unique flavors. However, we found it extremely sweet and almost hard to eat.

We’ve had lots of sesame and olive oil ice creams before and while these were nice, they’re definitely too sugary and American style.  Worth trying! 😋

Bi-Rite Creamery is always a must-stop for satisfying my sweet tooth! Though there’s usually a line, it moves quickly thanks to the super friendly staff who are great at helping those of us who can’t decide, offering samples to try. With a huge variety of flavors, including some seasonal specials, there’s something for everyone—unless you have a specific taste you don’t like, but even then, the options are endless. The only downside is that it can get a bit crowded inside since there’s limited seating. But no worries—you can always take your treat outside and enjoy it in the nearby park! In terms of texture, Bi-Rite’s ice cream leans slightly more on the "icy" side than super creamy, but it’s still delicious. They also offer pints in freezers if you want to take some home, though if you’re not a local, you’ll have to find another way to get your fix!

This might be my favorite ice cream parlor anywhere. Their inventive flavors are so well done - always delicious. Most recently (pictured), after consulting with the friendly server, I paired a scoop of basil with peach cobbler and it was terrific. Both flavors were wonderful individually and they worked so well together. The olive oil ice cream I sampled was also a winner.  I just wish I could go every day! Great staff as well.
