Amazing dumplings, skillfully folded and cooked. Fresh flavors including the shrimp. Introverts dream since you order on your phone from start to finish. But hard to eat all the food without friends with you. Best bbq pork steam bun ever :)

I came across this dumpling spot and will never look back! This has become one of my favorite restaurants in the city - in major part not only to the quality and tastiness of the food - but to the one of a kind service from Joanne. She has made this feel like a dinner with family - she is so friendly, warm, and always so accommodating. We always order the marinated cucumbers, and an assortment of steamed and fried dumplings. They are so fresh, and handcrafted to perfection. If you haven’t been, definitely stop on by. I have no doubt this will become a regular spot for you!

I really love this family run business. The dumplings are made to order, and the staff is friendly & helpful, will take the time to help you order if you can't deal with the QR code system. Love love love the Crystal Shrimp Dumplings. Other favs are the chili oil wontons and the cucumber salad. Actually, anything with chili oil is delicious. There's sriracha & soy sauce on the table. Beware, they close for a stretch between lunch and dinner, except for the weekend, so mind their hours.
On a nice day I do takeout & eat in nearby Dolores Park.

Wonderful and delicious. Their table app makes it easy to put orders in , but they stop by to check in and make sure everything is in order.
The service was efficient and friendly.
They were even able to answer the phone during a busy time and confirm that they have dietary options for those of us with restrictions.

The Dumpling House is a great restaurant to eat dumplings. I have visited many times and always love to eat there.
Sometimes it gets busy, but the service is usually fast.
Personally, I do not like that they do not have printed menus and you can only order on your phone.
Highly recommended.
