Good spot for breakfast although I wished they’d open a bit earlier. I had the biscuits in gravy, which were good and really filling. We also ordered the banana bread pudding French toast with was a good contrast to the richness of the biscuits and gravy. Service was good and food came out pretty quick. If you’re in the area it’s a good spot for American breakfast.

We tried the half-size Bread pudding french toast, which was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, with real maple syrup, cream, and fresh fruit. Pulled pork sandwich was also impressive, with tender pork complemented by coleslaw and pickles.

Portion sizes are fair for the price, making it a good value. Overall, I loved the cozy atmosphere, and I can’t wait to return and try more dishes!

A no nonsense diner with some of the best diner food you'll experience anywhere.

When you walk by Eat Americana, you wouldn't know every dish is incredibly well done.  The dishes may sound common but the presentation and taste is nothing but.

Some of our many many favorites include:
Short rib lasagna
Green chili mac n cheese
Goat cheese stuffed risotto cake
Biscuit and grave with egg and panko encrusted friend chicken

And the leftovers (we take home extras) are great the next day.

Add to it the attentive, friendly service, this should be on your list of places to eat at, whether you are a local or in town to visit Golden Gate Park or Ocean Beach.

Awesome spot for lunch with very reasonable prices for the quality of the food. We were pretty hungry so some dishes felt small, but assuming you've eaten breakfast, it was just the right amount. Not much of a wait, but also not too too many seating spots.

I really enjoyed their short rib hash. The hash browns were crispy, the beef was tender, and the sunny-side-up eggs tied everything together perfectly. Excellent service as well.

Hade en sådan härlig och välbehövlig paus efter en morgon av segwaying runt Golden Gate Park på morgonen. Välsigna Tony, ägaren, vi visste inte att de stängde vid 3 pm och vi stannade till 4 . 15 pm. Han var så underbar och generös. Även om vi bara hade snacks, maten var härlig och skulle definitivt vara glada att komma tillbaka för en fullständig måltid. Rekommenderar definitivt.

Vi ätit lunch här på ML King-dagen och var nöjda med måltiden. Detta är en stadsdel som inte är snygg men hade god kvalitetsmat som är mycket rimligt prissatt. Vårt parti av 2 beställde kärnmjölkpannkakor med 2 ägg över medelstora ($ 10) och en stor korvpatty ($ 4) och kycklingparmesan som kom med vitlöksbröd ($ 16).

 Alla våra artiklar smakade mycket bra och var beredda som vi beställde. En av damerna som arbetar där (bordsrensare) var lite grinig när vi bad om kontrollen men servitören var mycket vänlig. De var ganska upptagna när vi var där så det tog cirka 15 minuter innan maten kom fram. De har ett mycket trevligt urval på menyn som alla är prisvärda. Vi skulle gå tillbaka.

Det här är ett litet ställe smält mellan en ramen restaurang på ena sidan och en sushi på den andra. Det har smörgåsar, hamburgare, förrätter (som mac och ost) och hela dagen frukost. Det är opretentiöst, men med mycket uppmärksam service.

Min man och son åt här för några veckor sedan och raved om maten, men min datum natt med min son här hade inte samma resultat.

Hans stekt kyckling smörgås verkade ok men hälften av det var oätliga (hårda och med en tjock sena över bröstet). Brysselspirorna var smakrika men inte skarpa och så vackra som den varma spenat salladen var, det var mycket överdriven med olja från sautingen och bacon.

Talar om spenat sallad som verkligen är det som fick mig att skriva denna recension var att efter att jag var serverad kom en annan order in för samma sallad. Under kockens andedräkt sade han ganska mycket "förklarar" en annan spenatsallad och upprepade den igen till sin souskock. Tja, här är en idé, om du inte gillar att göra det tar det av menyn! ! !

Den enda personen som var trevlig var vår server. Dålig kille var tvungen att kompensera för alla de inte så trevliga kocken och andra servrar eftersom hon aldrig sa tack efter att ha tagit mig tillbaka på mitt kort eller på väg ut erkände kockarna oss att lämna. De kan inte göra ursäkt för att de inte kan se oss eftersom gångväg är smal och de är främre och centrala. Det fanns också endast 3 andra bord som serverades.

Helt besviken över den här erfarenheten när vi bor i grannskapet och skulle ha gjort det till vår resa - till för vanliga familjen måltider.

Vi försökte denna plats eftersom vi såg en bra recension för burgare och vi hade en bnb i grannskapet. Detta är inte den fina speciella hamburgaren du kan få på andra ställen men en utmärkt rakt till punkt burger och det bästa jag hade i S. F.! ! !
