Great location with numerous eateries, coffee shops, souvenirs shops and loaded with historical significance plus architectural elements. Walking distance to many other establishments. Loved it here especially during summer time when there are farmers markets, super cool! 💯

The fireworks they have here on New Year's are something else.

Such a great place to shoot them, absolutely killed with the show this year.

There were a lot of people and it is San Francisco so I'd recommend you park 20-30min away and either take the bus, Uber, or bike there like we did.

Definitely gonna be back next new year.

My favorite place to chill by the Bay. Wonderful food and shops inside, amazing sights and sounds outside. Also check out the Farmers Market on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

I took the Ferry from Vallejo to SF for the warriors and Celtics game and it was awesome! I’m from SF but I love coming to the city on the ferry. The ferry building is still just as beautiful as it’s been since I was a little girl coming here with my mom and big sisters!!

Något har förändrats sedan förra gången vi ätit här. Kanske för att det var en lördagskväll, och det nu är mer en plats för lunch / vardag. Kanske för att det är sommar. Men det var inte det livliga, livliga, livliga stället jag minns.

När vi anlände klockan 7: 30 var det kanske bara fyra sittande bord. Vi var ett större parti och satt inne. Första intrycket saknades, eftersom värden och en server huddled över en telefon och inte märkte att vi kom in (hej, vi var ett stort parti?! Det är svårt att missa ...).

Service och mat var bara ok. Servern var söt, men satt ett gäng tabeller strax efter att vårt vin kom och hade tydligt svårt att hålla uppe. Vi var tvungna att flagga ner henne flera gånger för att få henne uppmärksam. Maten var bara ok. Vi hade en mängd olika aptitretare och förrätter / sallader. Crab deviled ägg var läckra, liksom de hemlagade rullarna. Hälleflundra fick bra (inte rave) recensioner, och de två salladerna var bara ok.

Det är dyrt. Vi talar $ 25 förrätter, $ 20 sallader. Ärligt talat kan du göra mycket bättre i SF för dessa priser. Och med mer atmosfär.

Klockan 9 fick vi signalen att rensa, och servrarna städade upp, på sina telefoner och var redo att åka hem. Det kändes lite konstigt med tanke på hur tidigt det var.

Allt som allt skulle jag kanske igen men för lunch (billigare) eller på en vardag (bättre vibe?).

Vi hade söndagsbrunch för en fest på 5. De flesta av partiet beställde från den vanliga menyn, och endast 1 av oss beställde från brunchmenyn. Mimosorna var läckra, och tjänsten var trevlig och effektiv. Vi alla åtnjutit våra måltider (krabba smörgåsar, en omelett och en hamburgare), men på ~ $ 50 per person var det lite dyrt, men jag antar att det är typiskt för vad du förväntar dig att betala i detta mycket populära turistområde. (Vi är inte turister.) När jag frågade om toaletten pekade jag på en dörr som ledde utanför restaurangen och in i färggårdsbyggnadens hall, där linjen till damkammaren snakade runt hörnet. Hur konstigt att en exklusiv restaurang inte har egna toaletter. . .

Jag vill inte hoppa pistolen här, men jag tror att jag hade en rasistisk upplevelse här. Jag och en vän gick till denna hemska plats den 4 juli på kvällen för några drinkar. Vi satt utanför och servitrisen fick menyn. Vi beställde dryckerna. Det verkade som servitrisen verkligen inte vill tjäna oss. Hon frågade inte om vi vill ha något annat och bara gick bort. Jag ringde henne tillbaka för att placera matordningen. Och när vi slutade vår mat och dryck fick hon kontrollen. Vi bad inte om det, inte heller visade vi några tecken på att vi är färdiga. Vi skulle definitivt beställa en mer runda drycker.

Jag trodde kanske de stänger och det är skälet till bråttom. Jag frågade henne om de stänger nu. Och hon sa "Mycket snart" med ett fårligt leende. Det var cirka 6 - 7 pm. Jag lät det gå och satt vid bordet efter att ha skrivit in checken och lagt till spetsen.

Sedan kom en annan servitör och sa "Vill ni gå in eller något? Är du klar här? "Det var inte oförskämt, men det verkade som om de inte ville ha oss där. Och då frågade jag honom om sin stängningstid. Och han sa tydligt att de stänger runt 9 pm. Jag var chockad över att höra det här. Servitrisen ljög ljög för oss. Jag frågade honom varför vi fick veta att du stänger snart. Han hade inte ens artighet att svara på den frågan och ignorerade den. Det ögonblick stod vi upp och lämnade därifrån.

Jag tänkte mycket på denna händelse under helgen. Jag har aldrig känt det här förolämpat i mitt liv och det är chockerande att se ett sådant företag som trivs mitt i San Francisco. Jag ångrar tipset som jag lämnade och borde ha ändrat det tillbaka till 0 innan de lämnade.

Dessa människor är hemska. Stör inte ens att gå här.

Vi stannade vid färjan byggnaden i slutet av en rundtur i staden och hade lunch på Market Bar innan vandra ner till alcatraz piren. Det var lite en promenad. Men maten här var mycket bra. Vi hade stekt kolja, hummerrullen och stekfriesen. Färja byggnaden var ett trevligt ställe för ett kort stopp också.

Njut av en perfekt frukost / brunch på Market Bar i södra änden av Ferry Building på Embarcadero. Vi sippade deras välsmakande Frisco Bloody Marys för att fira starten på en solig lördag. Jag beställde grillat omelett med fontina - en enkel omelett kan ibland bevisa alltför svårt till amatören (eller frånvarande minded) kocken, men den här var salig och läcker. Ingen tung goopyost - bara rätt mängd. Och de rostade grönsakerna var läckra.
Min son beställde bondens frukostplatta - två pocherade ägg på en vitböna pur e med avokado, salsa och krispiga fläskmag. Bästa fläskkött jag någonsin har ätit. (Jag hade tur min son delade lite med mig) och en tallrik full av färska, utsökt mat. Han åt det innan jag fick en chans att ta en bild!
Jag rekommenderar starkt Market Bar. Det är bra för alla måltider.

Vi hade en mycket nedslående upplevelse under den senaste semestern. Vi åkte dit för brunch som en familj. Vi var sittande i tid men tjänsten var helt enkelt mycket dålig. Vi behöll behövde be om saker flera gånger inklusive grunderna som vatten. Och restaurangen var inte full så det var inte ett fall att ha ett fullt hus med begränsad personal. Det kändes mer att vår servitör helt enkelt inte var genom och rigorös. Ett annat exempel är att min sion bad om vad dagens fisk var och han svarade helt enkelt "det är tonfisk" - min son bad om att klargöra vad som serverades med och han sa "det är bra, oroa dig inte" - men när måltiden anlände var det faktiskt en pastarätt med tonfisk i såsen. En helt annan upplevelse. . . . Skulle definitivt inte återvända

De har alltid utmärkt service med läckra urval från deras mat- och cocktailmenyer. Det ger bra utomhus människor som tittar också.

Som Mainer är jag picky om min hummer. Denna tarragon pochad hummer var underbar! Serveras i den traditionella brioche-rullen med en liten mängd tarragon aioli, dess läckra: fuktig men inte slarvig.

Vi tog tillvara mat här efter en hektisk dag med sightseeing och njöt verkligen av den måltid. Allt var mycket bra, och priserna verkade rimligt (på SF, hur som helst) . Den guac, sallader, fisk, pasta och pizza alla choice, och kakorna till efterrätt var utmärkta. Kanske inte ett lika Tide som vissa andra restauranger i staden, MarketBar är ett bra val för gott, grundläggande mat. Rekommenderas.

Maten var väldigt god och vi fick den serverad supersnabbt. Barnens mat var helt fantastisk och de åt upp allt de fick. Guacamolen var riktigt god. Bäst av allt på restaurangen var dock en av servitörerna han var helt magiskt och underbar med barnen. Den bästa vi någonsin haft och vi har varit på många restauranger. Prova denna resturang.

Jag har varit här några gånger nu - huvudsakligen på grund av att Frukostpannkakor är otroliga! !

Jag gillar detta ställe eftersom det inre sittplatser har charm och värme och du har också möjlighet att sitter utanför och titta på folk. Har kundservicen varit mycket bra med undantag för en servitör som var en men vresig.

Skulle definitivt rekommendera för frukost.

Beläget i det historiska Ferry Building i Embarcadero, MarketBar är ett bra ställe för lunch. Det erbjuder en av de trevligaste uteservering ares i staden med fantastisk utsikt över staden, bukten och du kan titta på folk till din hjärtor content Bridge!

Vi nådde nästan avbokade vår tabell eftersom vi ville titta ut över havet och bron men istället beslutade oss för att behålla det. Vi omedelbart var dras till de specialerbjudanden och tog den råd av den fantastiska personalen att titta på den fisk osthamburgare, corn soup, och ostron.

De alla var utmärkt val! Vi kunde avsluta ut måltid och ta en promenad vill njuta av naturen!

Hade lunch på Vackra soliga dag. Sitter utanför är ett måste, så länge himlen är blå.
Den mat är mycket bra, välsmakande och bra delen/värde.
Servicen är bra, eftersom dess läge är det här stället fullt, mycket hektisk verkligen. Så servicen är lite långsam, men ingenting nära att bli irriterande.

Vi var på en California kustnära kryssning på the Star Princess och en av våra stationer var en övernattning i San Francisco. En "hop-on-hop-off the fist dagen vi gjorde bussen, men det regnade hela eftermiddagen så vi brydde oss inte göra en hel del promenader runt. Nästa dag vädret var mycket bättre. Det var soligt och var condusive för promenader. Vi gjorde linbana på the Powell & Masson line för att besöka sevärdheterna och det elektriska vagn tillbaka nerför till Embarcadero där vi såg den MarketBar Ferry Building på. De 3 av oss bestämde oss för att ta den förberedande meny med fasta priser lunch. Jag hade illa medfarna luktade medan min man och vår vän hade de gräddfärgade av brocolli soppa. Det luktade var utsökt & krispiga och kom på en bädd av arugulla och en sida av råbiff sås. Den soppor fick bra recensioner så väl. Det gäller förrätter min ledsagare hade coulette strak och jag fick fisk och skaldjur stuvning. Den biffar också fick bra recensioner. Den gryta var också utsökt. Det var tomat baseras med fisk, musslor, räkor, hackad paprika, lök och tomater naturligtvis. Det var något söt med en bit av en smak av peppar Bite. Det kom med 2 stora tjocka skivor av vitlök rostat bröd. Till toppen av lunch jag hade sorbet: guava, blood orange & calamansi. Vår vän hade Tre Leche kakor. Den desserter alla fick bra recensioner. Sammantaget måltid var runt $ 28 - 35 per person inklusive drycker. Vi hade tagit en uteplats bord trots att det fanns air - luftkonditionerade interiör sittplatser. Uteplatsen var perfekt för att titta på folk och även för att titta på de färgglada elektriska trådbussar när de passerade genom the station. Afterword gick tillbaka till Pier 27 där vårt fartyg var iland upptäcker. En fantastisk besök i San Francisco!
