Had lunch here last Saturday. What a great experience, and no crowds! Food was carefully prepared with each dish a tasty experience. I had the seafood option and my wife had the vegetarian option. Both great choices. Service was top notch, always attentive without hovering.

The atmosphere is clean and modern. The food was flavourful and tasty. The only issue I had was the family style main dishes. The temperature of the dishes were not as hot as I assumed it should be. Everything tasted great, the dishes became cold fairly quickly. I wished each main dish would come out individually instead of family style. That was the only thing that brought down my score on the food.

Hed 11, a Michelin guide restaurant, now offers $40 lunch menu with 5 courses! Hed 11 is an Upscale Thai restaurant located in Japan Town.

The lunch includes 4 different menus: beef, pork, seafood, and vegan!  All menus include 3 colors of rice. I am especially excited about the vegan menu because I am trying to eat less meat in 2025. It was clear the chef really thought out all of the vegan dishes to ensure traditional Thai flavors were captured.

This was my first time experiencing fine dining so it was a very pleasant experience.   One of the dishes I still think about is the traditional 3 color rice cake coated with young coconut in a bed of palm sugar syrup. The texture of the rice cake is soft and chewy. The pink and yellow ones did not have a disrinctive flavor but the green one is pandan. The palm sugar syrup has a very distinct aroma which compliments the coconut very well. Overall, great experience ✨️

Couldn’t say more about this place! The modern twists on Thai dishes are unique but still respectful of tradition. If you enjoy fish and spice, you will love this place. Banana desert was absolutely amazing. Service was great - they even took Polaroid pictures of us to keep.
