What a treat! We were greeted and treated with honor and respect. No wonder they have a line at dinner time. We were looking for a sampler and boy did we get an amazing lunch with shrimp, beef, pork, chicken, rice and vegetables too! Top it off with tea! Yum. Started with a pork sandwich + yummy sauce, then the most tender ribs and zucchini followed up with shrimp, beef and broccoli and a topper of the fried rice creation. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ordering the fried rice as they “fry” it at your table and combine it on a hot cast iron skillet. YUM!

This is my first time visiting House of Nanking. Although  I have been to Fang numerous  times.holdmy expectation is very high.
Same creative approach to Chinese food, all dishes have a twist. For example, the onion pancake  is topped with a sesame  sauce; instead of walnut prawns,  it was the apple with chicken in a similar fashion.
Generous portion, fast service. Great for a low-key family friend get together.

What a great and fun SF visit.  We couldn't come without stopping into China Town.  Always a solid choice.
We went in with many foodies so we ordered it all!  The crab, walnut shrimp, sour soup, and of course the Peking duck on pre - order.
Service was amazing and accommodated our group with a same day reservation.  We sat in the basement level and there was a few fun parties down there.
Food tasted super fresh and in point.  I wish there was a spicier version as our palette needed more fire for us.

Sesame chicken was delicious but the portion was pretty small. We also got the sizzling fried rice, it was cool how they did the rice table side. The rice had unique spices almost with a curry taste to it. Different from other Chinese fried rices I’ve had, not my favorite flavor but glad I got to try it.

The service was outstanding, the beef had a little more fat than I’d like but everything was well prepared and very quickly served! I was very hungry and they delivered pork, beef, chicken, and shrimp plates. Watch them finish the fried rice off with an egg at your table! It’s very hot (temp wise).
