The beef roll pancake was SO GOOD. Definitely coming back here, just for that.

The veggie dumpling was okay (would not get again) and the rib hand pulled noodles was also delicious.

Great Chinese spot on Taraval. Service is quick and friendly. Their veggie dishes are by far the best - green beans, eggplant with hot garlic sauce, and cucumber salad. The noodles are pretty good, but they need a little dressing up with soy sauce and vinegar.

House of Pancakes is a relatively small establishment so a line may form (~15 to 30 minutes wait time).

The food was excellent. The beef roll scallion pancake was crispy, and the beef was tender and seasoned well. The lamb noodle soup was portioned well with chewy, thin noodles. The garlic string beans were delicious as the string beans were not overcooked (still has a nice crunch) and the amount of garlic added satisfied my appetite.

Service was fine. Overall, a good dinner spot to go with friends.

House of Pancakes was one of the coziest & tastiest meals I’ve had in recent memory. The garlic green beans and the beef roll pancake were the most notable items for sure. So tasty!! The hand-pulled noodles were good as well, especially on a rainy day. The garlic green The food is what earned the five stars here.
The service and ambiance were alright. I wouldn’t say either were notable. It took me a few tries to flag down a server to get water, but they were quick with the tea and with the food! Overall, I’d definitely come back here!

The House of Pancakes is a small restaurant and you'll likely find yourself sitting directly behind another chair or table, but everyone respects their space. In the end, we are all there for the same thing — to enjoy the hand pulled noodles, savory pancakes and all other varieties of delicious dishes.

One of the dishes that stood out to all of us were the green beans and garlic. Stir fried simply and to perfection.  Also, I recommend ordering the more flavorful sesame pancake in place of the standard pancake. The sesame seeds add an extra nuttiness to the pancake.

The staff is friendly, the food wa served quickly and the place was clean. Parking can be a tad difficult to find, especially during peak hours.
