We got the King Tut fries because of the superficial similarities to the super fries menu option you see in Tucson. We also got a shawarma wrap and some fries. Everything was made to order and it was great. The restaurant is cozy, the person who took our order and brought our food was really nice. It didn’t seem like we ordered that much, but we did have to get a box to take home a ton of leftovers. As a first timer to San Francisco it can be a little overwhelming to navigate at first. This was a great spot to feel welcome and take a break from the hustle and bustle.

Tasty Egyptian food in the TenderNob. Affordable prices and nice portion sizes. The lamb and beef shawarma is always a hit in dish form or wrap. And so is the hummus. The Koshari was delicious. It was a beautiful symphony of different flavors and textures. The jute plant soup on the other hand is an acquired taste for sure. Tasty but texture wise.

Ordered delivery so no comment about its Atmosphere or service at the restaurant. Food is Ok. If they use better quality material (e.g. beef) I believe food could be more tasty.

What an experience it was. Nostalgic,  mind and taste journey for the soul. Loved the place. The food was amazing, it definitely took me back to the streets of Cairo and the service was top notch as Malik made the experience personal and wefelt like we are part of his family. My wife was blown away over the food and how good it was. Thank you guys for a wonderful meal and all around experience. Looking forward to our next visit.

It's been a good decade since I've last had koshari (and it was when I had it in Cairo, Egypt). Finally found a spot and got some. Might not be the authentic thing to do(?), but they let me add lamb to it. Delicious. And their kunafa is good, too! The cashier/waiter was super nice. Go check it out.

Min man och jag snubblat över denna lilla plats förra gången vi var i San Francisco, eftersom det var nära där vi bodde, och maten var så bra att den här gången när vi kom till SF, vi gjorde en punkt att gå till farao för lunch även om vi inte ange i närheten.

Maten är fantastisk - - min man hade Alexanduan-levern, jag hade de egyptiska fava-bönorna (foul madames) och vi delade en koshari. Allt var helt fantastiskt. Kan inte säga tillräckligt bra saker om därmed plats +

Ordern togs snabbt. Vänta på mat var 20 minuter eller så men det var värt det.

Har återvänt från en utmärkt semester i Egypten nyligen, jag längtade Koshari - den egyptiska nationella skålen. En vän hade upptäckt denna matplats på en ny resa till San Francisco och rekommenderade.

Jag beställde Koshari, Fafalel och Hummus. Var och en var smakfull och autentisk i sina förberedelser. Portioner är stora och priset ganska rimligt. Det finns några bord att äta i och det är en snygg atmosfär med röda och gula väggar, egyptisk musik och den underbara doften av mellanöstra kryddor.

Personalen vänlig och totalt sett en utmärkt anläggning för en utsökt lunch eller middag.

Jag tror inte att jag någonsin hade haft egyptisk mat förut, så jag ville ge den här platsen ett skott. Allt jag hade var nyligen gjord, och hummus och shawarma var otroliga. De flesta av menyn såg ut som en typisk Medelhavet led, men jag såg några rätter som jag inte kände till. Det verkade bara vara en kille som arbetade där, och han var trevlig. Stor del till ett mycket rimligt pris. Rekommenderas starkt.

Efter en stor dag på Rugby 7 s beställde man en San Francisco-pizza. Tog lite tid, men väl värt det. Personalen var mycket vänlig, maten var billig.

Geary street på natten är inte välkomna, och denna plats är definitivt på snabbmat slutet av marknaden. Men vi hade en riktigt bra middag - lamm, nötkött, massor av nyligen kokta ris, kalla drycker, väldigt hjälpsamma och vänliga server - som blev trevligare när jag kom ihåg mina par arabiska ord; han gav oss hieroglypt bokmärken!

Beställde två lamm och nöt- tallrikar med hummus, sallad och en pitta. Blev inte besviken! Mycket god, rent och en generös portion. Kommer att besöka igen!

Jag gillade verkligen min shawarma, det var utsökt, och området är lite skumt men de vara öppna sent som är ett riktigt plus. De anställda är trevlig och maten var god, just lite salt för min smak.

Väl han ville berätta för mig att mediet sås hade en kick! Mycket bra shawarma och falafelhak. Hittade detta på vår sista natt när vi ville ha en billig god måltid, och det här var perfekt. Vänlig personal och bra mat.

Vi snubblade över det här stället eftersom vi vandrade runt i närområdet, för att söka rätter från medelhavsköket. Jag hade kyckling, min vän nötkött/lamm. Båda var mycket god, med enorma portioner. Vi gillade särskilt de ris, men de Hummus var den bästa vi någonsin haft - utan tvekan!

Bodde på Adante hotel, bekvämt beläget intill, maten här är fantastisk och mycket mycket väl serverad, det kunde vara lite mer kryddig men allt som allt är fantastiskt

Denna lilla plats var bara i nästa kvarter utanför vårt hotell. Vi var förbi på lunch timme och såg skyltar och menyn på framsidan. Vi var de enda kunder när vi gick in, som vi brukar ta som ett dåligt tecken. Men i det här fallet, det visade sig inte vara fallet.

Min fru hade en sallad med getost, tomat, oliver, och hon bad om ett par falafel ovanpå. Killen arbetade i stället var mycket tillmötesgående. Jag beställde deras Pharaohsna falafelstånd kakelplattor, som ingår några auberginen. Vi gick ut med en stor mängd mat, mer än vi kunde äta, för väl under $20. Och det var bra.

Okej, det är en snabbmat atmosfär, men vi tog vår lunch tillbaka till vårt rum.

För dem som bor på hotell på detta slutet av Geary Street, jag skulle rekommendera detta som en bra plats för en snabb måltid.
