Very good restaurant. Food is amazing and authentic italian. I especially loved the agnolotti del plin. Service is very polite and professional. The atmosphere is cozy and the location is very good.

Truly the best cafe in the Castro. Beautiful pastries, focaccia sandwiches, and pizzas, all made by the chef every morning. Service is quick and the interactions lovely. My favorites: the speck, a prosciutto and goat cheese sandwich, or the custard or Nutella croissants. Delicious!

Lovely little spot in a Victorian in the Castro. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, yummy food when you’re in the mood for a tiny splurge. Not crowded on an early Tuesday evening. Highly recommend taking advantage of happy hour (5-6:30pm) to sample discounted appetizers and entrees. Costs around $50/person after tips for 4 dishes and 1 house wine. Check out the beautiful heated back patio (includes a fun journey through the kitchen). My friend and I are definitely coming back!

Shrimp and lobster gnocchi just had a tomato sauce can with stale shredded basil. Very scant lobster and shrimp and they didn't have any flavor either. The rabbit-veal-pork pinched pasta was good for the first 2 bites and then quickly lost its novelty. No competition between flavors that even I can introduce in my own food without spending $70. Definitely not worth reserving and anticipating for 2 days to be disappointed like this.

We enjoyed the special prefix Thanksgiving menu, Each of the dishes was unique and included seasonal items. It was the take on Thanksgiving in some cases, for example though ravioli with turkey in it. The salad, secondi and dolce were all really good too. Staff were really great and it had good suggestions for the drinks. The interior was nice and cozy not too crowded for a big holiday.
