An awesome and airy museum in the center of SF and not far from the Union square. You will definitely be enthralled by the seven floors of extraordinary art. Unfortunately, we could not access external terrace to enjoy the city views as it was closed to public on the day we visited. Otherwise worthwhile visiting if you are in the Bay Area.

Spectacular modern art museum, and a must see while in San Francisco. With 7 floors and a great many exhibits, you can easily spend an entire afternoon here. As you would expect, there are many works by famous and well respected artists, including paintings, sculpture, and photography. The Alexander Calder collection is especially noteworthy, as is the substantial photography collection, which is huge. Definitely a world class museum.

Amazing (and large) museum! 7 floors!!! It’s on the higher side of museum to let prices, $30 adult, $23 for students, but the large size makes the price worth it! They also have a select free day, so make a plan to attend during that. There is a small restaurant to grab a bite. The location is great, and the staff are all lovely. I drop one star for the price, but otherwise, amazing.

Interesting pieces. Easy to move around the museum. Spacious rooms. We went in a Saturday and it was not crowded.

unfortunately the last floor was closed. There were a few interesting exhibits, on the second floor were some of the planets artworks in my opinion. But most of the stuff was just ridiculous and in my eyes had nothing to do with modern art. A broken mirror, a toilet, some lines/doodles on a black canvas… 🤷‍♀️
