Having enjoyed numerous omakase experiences in the Bay Area and across the country, we were intrigued by this restaurant based on its glowing reviews, and it exceeded every expectation.

The Omakase experience was wonderful overall, but I’ve rated the food four stars because I felt the selection of fish could have been more varied and creative. For instance, the two pieces of mackerel served almost back to back had a strong, overpowering fishy flavor and weren’t very different from each other, aside from one being seared.

The staff was friendly and attentive, and the chef was knowledgeable. However, his thick accent made it a bit difficult to fully understand him at times.

Definitely an amazing night of dining! Highly recommend coming to this place if you enjoy omakase meals. Firstly the service here is great. The staff were very courteous and detail oriented. Our jackets were taken care of when we sat down at the bar. And once our meal was done they held out our coats for us to slip into them.

The meal was $195 for about 14 to 15 courses. Each dish was flavorful and fresh. The use of ingredients were creative and had wonderful taste. And by the end of the meal we were full.

Uni, truffle, caviar, and other raw fish are of top quality. Chef combines them to create amazing tasting experiences for customers. I came for the omakase experience. Especially loved the nigiri and the black truffle uni w/ fatty tuna bowl. Price is around 300/person without wine pairing.
The atmosphere of the omakase section of the restaurant is quiet and elegant. Service is warm and professional. The reason for 4/5 is because a nigiri had a small piece of fishbone left inside. Everything is excellent otherwise.

Loved almost every dish. The sushi was great outside of the eel. The non sushi dishes were also amazing! My favorite was the mackerel with truffle 😋😋

Overall, I think the price gets you a high frequency of fanciness (caviar, toro, truffle, uni). If you're into that, it's def worth it.
