I always have to try Thai places when I go somewhere new and given previous recommendations about this place online, I decided to try with my friend. For our surprise, everything was pretty okay and not as good as expected. Prices are reasonable, service was good and server was okay. Nothing out of ordinary or superb was experienced. New is broad and everything sounds delicious.  We tried two specials, the coconut pad thai and the fried rice with chicken pineapple. Both plates sound delicious, but that was pretty much about it. They just sounded delicious.

Delicious Thai food and friendly service! We dropped by and tried their crispy pork belly and duck fried rice. Both were full of flavor, balanced, and with great portion sizes. Loved it, and would definitely come back again!

Cozy and small, light meals - other competitors down the street may provide more fare for flavor.

Siam Thai offers convenience in the heart of Haight Street, but may lack in portion sizes and flavor compared to other Thai restaurants in the neighborhood. Prices range around $12 (standard for Thai food in the city I feel on the west side).

They are open for take out. Call them directly so you don’t have to spend extra for online ordering services and they can get the money without fees as well. Great food and great staff. Well operated during Covid-19. My go-to place for Coconut pad thai and chicken wings.
