finally tried Yellow Submarine, and I have to say, I’m impressed! The sandwiches are packed with fresh ingredients, and the bread has that perfect toasted crunch. I got the steak and cheese, and it was so flavorful and juicy—it might be my new favorite. The portions are big, and you definitely get your money’s worth. The staff was super friendly and quick too. Make sure to bring cash, there was no sign indicating they only take cash and took my order before letting me know. The sandwich was great though, all the ingredients tasted fresh.

Really disappointed in the sandwich and service here. It's a really small shop with a few tables to the side. I think this place lives off its legacy but when we visited, we were met with such disappointment. We ordered one sandwich and waited over 30 minutes for it. When we asked for an update on our sandwich, the worker was extremely rude and said he was making it right now. Seemed like they were focused on a large order that was placed after us.
There was no one else there before us. The sandwich was fine but honestly nothing special. There are better sandwiches out there.

The Yellow Submarine easily has the best sandwiches in the whole Sunset district. The secret is they toast their sandwiches (Boston, or Quiznos-style). They also add a really nice, fairly mild hot sauce, which just pulls the whole sandwich together.

I always get a medium Italian Combo, which is plenty large for one hungry person. I’ve never even thought about getting a large.

Really delicious sandwiches. Tried their chicken Sandwich and fries, they were simply awesome. Great friendly service. Family operated business from last 44+ years. Place does get busy. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend this place.
