I visited this place on a Friday morning when it was somewhat busy. I liked that they offer both indoor and outdoor dining options. The menu is extensive, allowing you to mix and match one to three items from each section. For example, you can choose two pancakes or one eggs benedict, making it easy to try a variety of dishes.

I ordered one eggs benedict, one gingerbread pancake, and a cappuccino. My friend ordered gluten-free English muffins, which was a nice option to have.The food was great—especially the gingerbread pancake, which had exceptional flavors. However, the coffee was burnt and much too hot. The service follows a European style, which meant a more relaxed pace, but at times it felt a bit inattentive.

I had eggs benedict with smoked salmon and they were the best I’ve ever had! The french toast was very good too, but I was expecting it to be a bit creamier. Service is a bit slow because it is always crowded, but I didn’t bother. Food is a bit pricey.

A Disappointing Experience Despite the High Ratings!

I visited this restaurant based on its high ratings (4.6 out of 5 with over 3,000 reviews), but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. I ordered Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, a small side salad, and French fries (frites). However, the dish arrived with roasted potatoes instead of the fries I had ordered. When I pointed this out to the server, they simply replied, “This is the only type of potatoes we serve,” without mentioning this detail when I placed my order.

About the food: The taste wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. It was very basic and completely unremarkable. On top of that, the presentation was poor and unappealing, falling far below the standard I’d expect from a restaurant at this price point.

Overall experience: The total bill came to around $41, which is far too expensive for what I got. On top of that, the seating was incredibly uncomfortable—I felt like I was sitting in the middle of a walkway, which ruined the atmosphere even further.

Honestly, I’m not sure how this place has such high ratings. For me, it’s not worth the price or the hype, and I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Went for celebration with family. Party of 8. Got our seating right on time. The hostess Kait was super nice. Answered patiently our questions about vegetarian options on the menu. She was very attentive and had a lovely conversation with her after the dinner. We sat in the patio area, cozy and warm. For starters ordered Mediterranean roasted vegetables, all of enjoyed the flavors and freshness of vegetables. Pasta de la Courge was indulgence. My favorite was Grilled New York Steak. We asked well done. We also had duck fish which was delicious, soft , chewy with well complemented sauce. Kids ordered Mac & Cheese which was little bit heavy and they were full after few bites. We finished the dinner with Bread Pudding, again super yummy. It was a memorable meal with family. Would love to come back. Noticed one thing that few items in the restaurant menu are different than online menu( very few).

Overhyped, average brunch food. Also, got fed meat as lifelong vegetarians :/

Got here on a Saturday at 1 pm and waited one hour.

Got seated at the patio- had to request the heater to be turned on in January. Lights were dimmed and it was hard to see even during the day. The patio smelled slightly of foul garbage which ruined our experience.

Vegetarian protein substitutes were an additional $3. Three of the four orders came messed up with the wrong combinations - we had to ask them to fix it.

We paid $3 extra for soyrizo omelette and we double checked with the server that it is soyrizo and she said yes. Midway through eating it we found chicken sausage chunks that were mixed with the mushrooms. As lifelong vegetarians that have never eaten meat, this was deeply DISTURBING. The soyrizo was extremely oily. The potatoes were undercooked. The portion of avocado was really small.

We notified the server of the presence of meat and they compensated our meal. I appreciate the approach to rectify the situation but with so many order mess ups, it was a pretty disappointing experience.

Servicen var mycket bra och vi älskade att det är en tipsfri restaurang. Grymt att de ger en bra arbetsmiljö för sina anställda. 

Portionerna var enorma! Särskilt fläskkotletterna! Även osten från urvalet av 3 ostar aptitretare, 2 av de 3 var enorma bitar av ost. 

De flesta av vår mat var fantastisk och mycket utsökt. Men min syster och jag hade PEI musslorna som var väldigt fel och fick mig nästan att spy. Vi kunde inte äta dem. Vi berättade för vår servitör i slutet av vår måltid, som han frågade hur maten var. Han berättade för kocken och kocken sa att de var färska, köpte den dagen och smakade bra. Synd för oss! Debiteras fullt pris. Inte för att vi förväntade oss att de skulle ta bort laddningen men eftersom ingen av oss kunde äta dem skulle vi ha trott att det skulle ha varit mer än en ”synd!” Det lämnade vår erfarenhet mindre förtjusande.

Vi var här för en bröllopsbrunch på baksidan och personalen kunde inte ha varit mer tillmötesgående. Maten var utmärkt och vi njöt alla av brunchen oerhört.

Min första och sista gången jag äter på denna restaurang. Vår server var stor men en personal som arbetade på bakgården var oförskämd och otäck. Hon blev irriterad när jag stod vid dörren till toaletten som jag måste säga att de har en mycket liten plats. Hon sparkade ut mig genom att säga "gå ut! " Vilken attityd att behandla sina kunder. Vi gillar att utforska franska restauranger i San Francisco men detta kommer att vara utanför vår lista och kommer inte att rekommendera. En besvikelse!

Vi kom slumpmässigt över Zazies och var så glada att vi kunde få ett bord eftersom maten var utsökt. Vi hade valnötens rostat bröd och ägg florentinska och de var båda sikla värda! Det är trevligt att du kan välja antalet portioner (1 - 4) du gillar! De säger också att de inte förväntar sig tips och betalar sin personal rätt, vilket är uppfriskande i U. S. Viktigast av allt är att de har fantastiskt kaffe!

Sist men inte minst gillar vi väldigt mycket det faktum att service ingår i priserna.

Väntan var lång men väntat på fredagsbrunch. Vi hade Medelhavet plattan, hamburgare och griddle flyg. Allt utmärkt. De förväntar sig inte tips och tjänsten, även om det inte är dåligt, är definitivt inte toppklass. Sammantaget var maten plats på.

Först en inledande kommentar och sedan en glödande recension: Min fru och jag äter middag vår 3 - 4 gånger i veckan, i SF Bay-området där vi bor och runt om i landet och Europa när vi reser. Vi äter mycket "på" restauranger - på alla typer av restauranger. För det andra gjorde min fru en bokning på Zazie och den dagen vi åkte dit läste jag många recensioner både på Yelp och TripAdvisor och annullerade nästan våra planer för middagar eftersom så många av dem var (för middag) besvikna för vanliga "dåliga." Men jag beslutade att inte avbryta - - till förmån för äktenskaplig harmoni. Och jag är glad att jag inte avbröt eftersom vi hade en enastående upplevelse på Zazie, på alla sätt! Så här går:

Vi anlände 15 minuter för tidigt och även om de hade ett bord för oss, beslutade vi att vi hellre skulle äta i den bakre uteplatsen (med värmelampor). Värdinnan var oerhört nådig och sa att hon kunde ha en tabell för oss inom kort och föreslog att om vi ville ha en drink skulle vi bli bättre på att gå till baren bredvid - - vilket vi gjorde, och haft och faktiskt fick min favorit (och något sällsynt) Bourbon. När vi återvände till Zazie hade värdinnan ett härligt bord för oss.

Tjänsten vid bordet och genom middagen var nådig, uppmärksam och oerhört hjälpsam. På min begäran föreslog servitören ett vin som vi beställde med middag och hans rekommendation var "spot - on" och inte dyra - - en dubbel - vinnare!

Men det handlar alltid om maten, och Zazies mat var spektakulär. Jag bad servitören om sin utvärdering av fläskkotlett och han gav det rave recensioner, och när jag åt det var han ännu en gång "spot - on." Det var en av de bästa fläskkotletter jag någonsin har ätit (jag gillar kött i allmänhet, och verkligen som en fläskbutik om du gjort "rätt" - och den här var perfekt). Han berömde också musslorna och jag hade dem som aptitretare och de var också perfekta. Både mina rätter och smärtan perdu efterrätten var underbara, mycket franska och absolut perfekt förberedda, kokta och presenterade. Min fru kände samma sak om hennes lök soppa och kyckling middag och dessert.

Och slutligen var den totala fakturan för oss två under $ 170. Fyi, vi äter sällan en middag - än mindre så perfekt en middag! - - för under $ 350 per par (vin, skatt och tips ingår alla) och äter ofta middagar som kostar dubbelt så mycket. Så "litar på mig" när jag säger att denna restaurangupplevelse inte bara var perfekt när det gäller atmosfär, service och mat utan också ett "fynd" (och skulle ha varit till dubbelt priset!).

Glöm alla negativa kommentarer om middagen (jag märkte att de flesta kommentarerna om restaurangen handlade om deras brunch och tycktes vara mycket positiva). ÄT DET! Du kommer inte ångra det.

Jag är så glad att jag INTE avbokade bokningen.

Ett av mina go-to-ställen för frukost / brunch i San Francisco. Alltid bra mat och trevlig stämning. På helgerna kan köerna bli väldigt långa och man kan i princip inte boka bord (kolla på deras hemsida). Eggs Benedict och Miracle pancakes är två av mina favoriter. 

Ett udda inslag i Staterna är att man inte lämnar dricks på Zazie - alls, man får typ inte. 

Vi träffade vår son medan vi besökte SF på Zazie. Servitören var exceptionell, bara noggrann uppmärksamhet och mycket specifika råd om våra frågor om måltid val. Detaljerna är vad som ställer denna plats ifrån varandra. Jag beställde limonad och fick ett glas is ungefär halvfullt av nypressad citronsaft och sedan en flaska enkelsirap för att göra drycken till min smak. Det var häftigt. Jag hade krabben benedict och var så glad med den. Krabban var färskt, rikligt och full av smak och allt omkring det gjordes perfekt, med bara noggrann krydda att inte distrahera smaken av krabban. Övriga måltider var lika bra exekverade och detaljerna genomtänkt. Definitivt värt att vänta som var minimal för den tid vi kom.

Jag hade bara varit i Zazie för brunch, men vi träffade vänner som vistas i Cole Valley och det verkade rätt plats. Restaurangen har en härlig utomhusområde men vi var inne på en kylig kväll. Aperitifer erbjuds är trevligt om det är begränsat och menyn erbjuder något för alla. Ingenting stod som speciellt men Bouride (en mycket tjock gluggy gryta) & Duck åtnjutits av våra gäster. Ostplattan var mycket vardaglig - ostar tillgängliga på Costco. Desserterna var likaledes lackluster. Zazzies är mycket rimliga, särskilt utan att tippa och menyn är fast om du har ur staden picky eater släktingar, men vi var uppriktigt lite besviken. Jag kan göra brunch igen men förmodligen inte middag. Parkering är mycket tufft BTW.

När det kostnadsfria brödet är varmt och ömt och serverat med gott smör, vet du att du är ute efter en härlig måltid. Sedan kom den "lilla salladen", en kulle gröna gröna lödde i balsamico, en måltid till sig själv för 7 dollar.

Det finns så många rätter på Zazie som jag har haft i Frankrike, att det var svårt att välja. Jag hade tur att min favorit franska maträtt, Cassoulet (en bondegryta) var på menyn. Var och en av oss hade roliga måltider, varav varje kurs var god, presenterades snyggt och betjänades av kunnig personal. Om du gillar traditionell fransk biljettpris är det definitivt värt en resa till det här SF-området.

Personalen är mycket trevligt - förutom diskmaskinen som bakade sig i mig och inte ens vända eller erkänna. Maten är väldigt trött. Ännu tröttare än den utmattade, tråkiga biljettpriset i Paris-restos som erbjuder "Cuisine Traditionelle Fran aise". Förutom inte riktigt alla franska. Rullen var vansinnigt varm men fortfarande ganska öm och påminde mig om Pillsbury-rullarna vi älskade när vi var pre-teens, så det var trevligt på ett konstigt sätt.
Söt, lugnt grannskap. Mycket tyst.

Högkvalitativa ingredienser. Fantastisk service. En mysig atmosfär. Zazie är mina favoritbrunchplatser i San Francisco. Var noga med att beställa "French Toast Tahiti."
