This review is long overdue! By far the best Mexican seafood place I have ever been to! I visited Mazatlan not too long ago and I was lucky to have found a spot in which the food tastes almost exactly like the food over there. Worth the 30 minute drive. One time we were there and Banda Corona del Rey showed up to eat there. I CRAVE the green aguachile de camaron all the time. I have been here multiple times and always order the same thing. I tried other dishes like the ceviche, sushi, shrimp tacos, and camarones zarandeados and I can say that they have all been very good. Their chipotle mayo tastes delicious on the tostadas. Also, you have to try the chiltepin salsa as well! Spicy and tangy at the same time. Their micheladas and cantaritos de piña con mango is also very good. I recommend this place to everyone that asks me about a good mexican seafood spot.

I give this place from a once high rating a 2.5 stars I want to start by saying flavor is never a miss here the food is great . There for the issue really is in the service You rarely get checked on and feel ignored Your server can pass you by and not acknowledge you From previous experience it seems like there has been more payroll added to address this issue since I see 3 brand new servers I've never seen To my surprise it's the same training where you get forgotten Last time I came here my food was cold I got fajitas and my server was doing everything else besides grabbing my food after 4 bell rings my food came by another person Once I got asked if everything was alright I had to say no my food was cold after being asked to settle for the fajitas since my main dish camarones all ajo was out due to an ingredient. Well her response was do you want me to reheat it Honestly for what to get dry ass fajitas ? No thanks I just ate some cold food. Again the route cause of this seems to be lack of service training and check in queues Love the food hate the service Ambiance has changed also to louder music on weekends also Hope this review realigns the service and goal here As the food would only win you over for so long

Hi Alex, I was honestly surprised at the tone of your reply. My review was not a "misrepresentation" of your menu it was my genuine experience as a loyal, paying customer. My original 5-star review proves how much I once loved Agua Salada, which makes my disappointment now all the more real. And as a side note, I am very aware of how an agua preparada is made which is exactly why I brought it up in my review. What we were served was simply sparkling water with lime juice squeezed into it. No tajín, no preparation, nothing more and nothing less. You are absolutely correct that we could have brought it up during service, but that doesn't change the fact that this is what was delivered to our table, and that is the experience I reflected here. Clarifying pricing is fair, but accusing me of being "misleading" or "mischaracterizing" my experience is dismissive. Reviews are not supposed to be PR copy they reflect how guests actually feel about their food, the value, and the service. Responding with lectures and blame doesn't change the fact that the consistency has slipped, and the experience no longer matches the price point. I drove from the East Bay to support your business, because I believed in it. Instead of taking that feedback in stride, your response chose defensiveness over hospitality. That says more about where things have shifted here than any one review ever could. I stand by my comments. Hopefully, in the future, criticism from loyal guests will be received with the same respect and care we once felt when dining at Agua Salada. Right now, it's clear you simply can't take constructive criticism and that's a shame for a business that has so much potential and we loved.

Great option for Mariscos! We went on a Friday evening and the place was bustling with energy and a live band. Despite the crowd, we were seated promptly. The menu features an array of seafood options. We tried two dishes from the ceviche menu (ceviche de camaron con mango en salsas negras, ceviche de jaiba) and the super Baja style fish tacos. The ceviches came with a basket of saltines and tostadas. Even though we ordered the smaller size ceviche and 2-taco option, the portion sizes were hefty. My favorite of the night was the ceviche de jaiba (crab), but everything was fresh and full of flavor. I look forward to returning and trying more dishes!

Got the Torre de Mariscos Sinaloense, Steak Sopes & Fish tacos. All the he food was really good. Tons of flavor. Very fresh. Drinks we got margarita and beer. Both were a bit more expensive than i would expect at this place $18 and $9. From the size and quality, marg should have been $12. Service was good early on, and then got a little slow when trying to get check. Seemed really 1 server, 1 bartender, and 2 other guys mainly just talking when I saw them. Maybe just how it gets 2 on Saturday. The good far outweighs the not so great. Will be back.

We were craving aguachile recently and stopped by this place to try it out. It is very nice inside with plenty of seating and clean bathrooms. We were immediately seated and provided with cold glasses for our water and chips and salsa. I loved that the glasses were already cold, I thought it was a nice touch that I hadn't seen before. We tried their aguachile verde and camarones al mojo de ajo. Although very delicious, I just wish that the aguachile was left in the lime juice longer before being brought out. The staff were all very attentive and helpful and service was quick. It is located in a shopping center with parking available.

We ordered the ceviche de camarón con mango ($22), aguachile with green sauce ($20), tacos dorados de camarón ($22), and tacos de pulpo ($28) and for drinks the Agua Jamaica ($4). The seafood was fresh and flavorful overall. The ceviche unexpectedly included peaches, which worked but wasn't listed on the description of menu. The green sauce on the aguachile was bomb. The crispy shrimp tacos were tasty but overloaded with sauce and toppings, masking the shrimp's flavor. Salsas were solid, and service was friendly and attentive. The space is open and inviting. Only downside: I saw a staff member behind the bar lick sauce off his fingers while working, which was concerning, but we weren't there for the bar, although it did affect my overall impression. Also worth noting, this lunch meal for 3 was $115, including tip. Still, worth a visit for the food and vibe.

Our experience was not as good as the rest of the reviews. This is where Anejo was previously located. The ambiance infact seems similar to Anejo as well but apparently it's a brand new restaurant with new owners. *USP: slightly upscale Mexican cuisine. Lots of seafood based dishes. *Service: very attentive and friendly. We were served water and chips+salsa on the house as soon as we got seated. *Ambiance: lots of greenery, clean and pretty spacious. The blue fish shaped vases on the tables are pretty whimsical. *Food: this is where things fell flat for us. Lack of flavor and salt were a characteristic across all the dishes we ordered. Rice and beans were served in two of the dishes we got. The beans were cold and rice was crusty. Not sure if crusty rice was intentional but it tasted odd. The chicken fajitas were bland. The spicy Diabla shrimp was not as fiery or flavorful though it looked great. The chicken tacos were plain and simple with just chicken and onions, again lacking salt and flavor.

Amazing food, amazing service, I've become a regular! Everything I've tried never misses, from the ceviches to the tacos and that amazing spicy red sauce!
