Definitely gives off Dave's Hot Chicken vibes -- that same fiery kick that spice lovers enjoy. It's not something I'd have every day, but perfect when you need that serious spicy chicken fix. The Hot Chicken Sandwich was crispy, juicy, and loaded with flavor, while the Tenders with Mac & Cheese made for the perfect spicy-meets-creamy combo. The portions are generous, and even the "medium" heat packs a punch, so pace yourself! The ambience is casual and modern -- bright, clean, and perfect for a quick meal or late-night bite. If you're into heat and comfort food that bites back, Angry Chickz definitely hits the spot!

The place itself isn't bad, it does remind me of Dave's Hot Chicken, if not almost identical. I got the number 1 combo, and they threw on a LOT of pickles, and I'm not a fan of having the sandwiches drenched in pickle juice. The slaw was great! I should've asked for more. The one downside is that when you ask for honey, you don't get much, I believe I was only given 2 packets, and if you want sauce, that's an extra charge. Other than that it isn't too bad, but not sure if I'll be back so soon.

Wow so expensive for such small and mediocre food. You can make this at home with a slice of bread and some frozen chicken tenders. Was curious to try it out but definitely never going back. They do have Pibb Extra at the soda fountain so that's nice.

Finally the got the chance to try this place with a friend around 7 pm on Friday night! It was somewhat busy for a dinner rush. There's lots of parking near the restaurant but it's usually packed because of other venues like a gym, kumon, and much more. Very clean and spacious interior with striking design from its grand chicken to red walls. I ordered the angry Mac and the classic #4 of 2 chicken tenders, pickles, coleslaw, and buttery rice. The restaurant attracts a lively crowd of people from teenagers, families, and the elderly while I was waiting for my food. It took about 10 minutes for my order to be complete. I was very happy with the portion of food. The chicken was tender, spicy, and delicious. Easy to chew and paired well with their special sauce. The coleslaw was moist and flavorful. The rice was soft and a great addition of carbs. Would come here again!

Friendly patient service when answering our questions and figuring out what we wanted to try. He made a nice suggestion so we could try different things and not over order. The restaurant has ample seating and a steady stream of customers ordering at the counter and picking up their mobile orders. There are several TVs for people to watch whatever sports game is playing. Music is upbeat but not too loud. Overall good experience.

Great bang for the buck! This isn't something that I can imbibe with on a regular basis, I've had it a few times and the next morning I wake up feeling like a hungover college kid (which ironically is probably the peak clientele for this type of food), but it's SO GOOD. Extra cheesy Mac? Good. Crunchy spicy chicken? GOOOOD. #1 recommendation - hydrate to the max while and after eating here!

One comes to this place for the slaw that comes with the chicken. Busy or not food should be prepared the correct way. I have gone before and it was amazing. However this time someone got lazy and added stands of slaw. If you are going to charge what you charge your cooks need to be re trained.

I would give more stars if I could. The #4. Soft buttery rice ton of it under spicy breaded soft white chicken tender. 3 of them. Was the best I very had. Don't forget the sauce. A+

We took a takeaway of the two orders of very hot and hot tender boxes on a Saturday night. We came here after looking at the willow Glenn Christmas lights and was really hungry. The person took our order quickly the place has a cool look. Although the order took a while to arrive , the food was delicious. The chicken tender boxes came with fries , pickle and bread ! Overall delicious place in the heart of San Jose !

The place is nicely decorated and clean where you order from the counter but that's the only excitement in my opinion. The food is for those with no heart disease. It's deep fried battered chicken, ontop of Mac n Cheese and for heat, powdery spices on-top. There are other sides like coleslaw, fries and others. Nothing special, but try it yourself and don't let our feedback prevent you from visiting any business.
