Fantastic local spot for breakfast or brunch! Basket Bagel Café has quickly become one of my favorite places to start the day. The food is always fresh and flavorful, their bagels are soft on the inside with that perfect chew, and they have a great selection of spreads and breakfast sandwiches. My go-to is the lox bagel, but honestly everything I've tried has been great, from the omelets to the iced coffee. The service is friendly and quick, you can tell the staff cares about their customers and keeps things running smoothly even when it gets busy. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with that warm neighborhood-café feel. It's clean, bright, and comfortable whether you're dining in or grabbing something to go. Overall, Basket Bagel Café nails it on all fronts, great food, great service, and a relaxing vibe. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!

I've come here 2x so far & would likely be a regular if I lived in the area haha. Very clean & welcoming spot - breakfast and lunch bagels have been a hit. I got the turkey avo club as well as the sausage egg cheese & both were very well made. Viet iced coffee and black coffee is strong! Service is quick and they have lots of snacks and drinks as well. They've been open for 5 months - definitely come check this place out!

After my hair appointment, I got SUUUPER hungry since I was running off overnight oats and a beef stick. I saw Basket Bagel Cafe open recently and I wanted to check them out, although I believe they may have been closing soon. There wasn't anyone in the cafe besides myself, and the menu itself has a TON of variety to choose from. There were sandwich options, regular bagel options, etc. They also had pastries available by the window that I was unable to try out. They also had drinks available! I ended up getting the following: -chicken pesto bagel on a pesto bagel -strawberry matcha latte I don't remember what my total was, but it had to have been under $20, which is pretty fair for a bagel shop. Since I was the only person inside, my order didn't take too long to get (but also I think because they were about to close as well). REVIEW OF EACH ITEM: -Strawberry Matcha Latte - this one was ok to say the least! It's not like your vibrant green, umami matcha but it is pretty refreshing. The matcha flavor is pretty light and you can definitely taste the strawberry more. 3/5 -Chicken Pesto Bagel: THIS WAS SUPER GOOD! However it is pretty messy, but it is also a very juicy/wet bagel sandwich. It was packed with so much flavor - from the bagel, to the chicken, pesto, and extras inside. I really loved this and I'd definitely get this again. It was very filling and I couldn't finish it all. I ended up taking the other half with me home. Definitely recommend trying this one out!! 5/5 Overall, I'll definitely be back! Since this is so close to my hair salon, I'll definitely stop by and grab something to eat when I'm done with my appointments. I'm usually super hungry and I love eating bagels!

This new bagel shop opened in one of those "cursed" spots in this complex that has been a bunch of different places. We are hoping that Basket Bagel sticks around! This location is relatively easy to park at since there is a huge lot, though there are a lot of businesses in the area. When you walk in, you can see the huge variety of different sandwiches and a case full of fresh bagels. There are plenty of places to sit. I got the lox sandwich on a poppy seed bagel. All the bagels looked really fresh. The bagel was nicely toasted, and the sandwich came with onions, tomato, and capers. I also tried one of the sandwiches on a croissant last month that someone brought me, and it was really good I definitely want to go back and try one of the coffees since it looked like a good selection. Also desserts looked good as well. I think this is a good place for brunch or lunch!

Stopped by on Monday, thankfully they're open! They understand the Monday Rush hehe. Absolutely clean and very spacious place ~ very friendly and welcoming staff. Ordering was simple, quick and easy!! The woman that took my order was kind enough to also help by handing me my items (had hands full), which was very thoughtful and kind of her. I ordered a Caramel Macchiato (less sweet) and it's SOOOOO GOOOD! Honestly better than your avg. Stbcks. and the best you can get around this area (San Jose) IMO. They have delicious bakery items ~ I tried their chocolate muffin, which was warmed and made the chocolate chips in it perfectly gooey! A bit messy, but that's what to expect. I also ordered a delicious Hot Link Sausage, Egg & Cheese Plain Bagel, it was a steaming hot, well cooked sausage and overall bagel! I'll definitely be coming back for my bagel cravings here. If you haven't checked them out, I highly recommend you do! It will NOT disappoint (-:

Very cute new bagel shop in the center at the corner of Meridian and Hillsdale. Had no idea this place had opened so decided to give it a try. I am a bagelholic and am always on the hunt for the perfect bagel. And this one is in my neighborhood so that's a huge bonus. The shop is open, spacious, and clean. I was greeted immediately. Service with a smile. The place felt welcoming and comfortable. A nice spot to relax with friends or to get some work done (they have free WiFi). We need more "third spaces" and this one is perfect for that. There's even a little outdoor patio with plenty of tables and chairs. Was craving something with a little spice so opted for a jalapeño and cheddar bagel toasted with cream cheese. The bagel was toasted well and had just the right amount of cream cheese. Quick prep time without a lot of waiting around. The bagel texture was on the softer side, probably optimal for their bagel sandwiches, versus the more dense kind you'll find at a place like Boichik. The jalapeño was abundant but not spicy. It wasn't the perfect jalapeño and cheese bagel I'm on the hunt for, but it was good. I give the bagel a 4/5. Overall I'd give them a 4.5/5 but the service and ambiance really push it up to a 5. I plan to come back to try a different bagel and a boba tea. Happy to support an independent shop and hope they do well.

Nice variety of bagel sandwiches and cafe drinks. We ordered the pesto chicken and pastrami bagel sandwiches. The fillings were generous and the toasted bagels tasted flavorful and chewy. Service was caring and prompt and the cafe is spacious and neat.

Delicious! The owners own the Donut Basket on Ross and Branham ave so you'll get the same delicious bagels and coffee at their new location. This new location offers their delicious bagels and pastries but keep in mind this new location does not offer donuts. There is plenty of parking and ample seating inside. I ordered a spinach, ham and egg sandwich on a plain bagel and a Vietnamese iced coffee. Both were delicious! The lady who helped me with my order was super nice too, I wish I got her name. Give their new location a try!

Their turkey , egg and cheese sandwich is TOO DIE FOR. It is freshly made and tastes so incredibly well. Great service, super clean environment and conveniently located near a few shopping plazas.
