I decided to give bb.q Chicken another try after a disappointing first visit! I order the Spicy Original Wings. This time it was cooked perfectly! The wings were cooked all the way through! None of the interiors were raw. The flavor was very good! Wonderfully seasoned! The wings were very juicy! I still think that the items are priced a little higher than other restaurants that specialized on chicken. But I would definitely return to try other items on the menu.

Food 5 Service 5 Ambiance No comment; we had pick up This is the first time we've ever tried bb.q; it's a definite must try if you haven't tried it. The chicken comes bone in or bone out and the flavors are incredible!

Starting to have polarizing opinions because the Rose tteokbokki from bb.q chicken is always good and the size of the wings isn't miniature sized like other chains. Chicken is always moist and well battered. But, on the other hand, I keep receiving half ass coated wings, for a better lack of terms. In the photo of the Soy Garlic wings that I've posted, you can see how uneven and lacking the coating is. I'm not asking for the wings to be dripping, but at least somewhat evenly coated ? In its current state the unevenness of the coating detracts from the overall flavor. I would rather have the option for sauce on the side so that I could do it myself, than get home and see less than half of each wing with sauce on it.

Placed an online order for pick up yesterday. I arrived at the schedule time and they had the food ready for me. Everything was neatly packaged. Service was quick. Parking wasn't too difficult since I was in and out within 5 minutes. I ordered the 24pcs soy garlic, kimchi fried rice x2, and rose ddeok-bokki with cheese. This was a crowd pleaser for a potluck dinner at a friend's house. The soy garlic is my fave flavor. Right amount of sweetness. Crispy fried chicken to perfection. So much food that we even had leftovers! I would come back.

Between the bb.q locations I would have to say that North Park is probably the best of them all. Located in the North Park Plaza, not only is there ample parking, but there is enough seating inside. Food quality has been consistently good and have only had great experiences with the service here. The price is on the steep end, as most Korean fried chicken is. And there can be a wait on orders, but would you rather have well cooked, good quality and delicious fried chicken or the lack there of? Always wings here, I don't do none of the boneless stuff. Favorite is their Honey Garlic, Secret Spicy and Soy Garlic. Their wings come with a side of pickled daikon to cut through the richness of the wings and a good palate cleanser. The chicken is juicy and tender while maintaining a super crunchy and crispy exterior which holds on to whatever sauce is coated on top. If you're a big fan of sweet, salty and savory give the above mentioned sauces a try! The chicken pieces are huge too, definitely best for sharing! Their fries, sweet potato fries are pretty solid and they give you a lot. As for drinks you can choose from soda and alcoholic drinks such as beer and soju. Service can take a while, but we're talking chicken here. Ever been to WingStop? Cook time can take a while. As for service, I've always been helped promptly and/or taken my order quickly. Also love that they set everything out for customers for self service, gloves to wear while eating and other condiments if needed. Every table has water available as well.

Steam rice was, meh, just OK. Fries were cooked perfectly to a golden brown just the way I like my fries. They were golden brown and crunchy on the outside and steaming hot in the inside. Just needed a little bit of salt, no biggie. Chicken wings are very, very good and the spice was perfect. They came out piping hot so I had to let them cool down a little bit. The outer crust was crispy, crunchy and delicious and the inside of the chicken wings was juicy and flavorful. A very satisfying meal and had leftovers taking half home.

I can't believe it took me THIS long to try bb.q chicken... Came on a Thursday afternoon around 11:45 for lunch. They have a few weekday lunch specials, but we opted for 8 piece wings (soy garlic) and a rose teokboki. They don't allow half and half flavors for the wings otherwise I would have tried other flavors as well. The wings were perfectly fried and incredibly juicy, would definitely recommend the soy garlic. We waited under 10min for the teokboki and under 15min for the wings. Came out to be around $40 for 2 people and we had leftover teokboki. Their allergy chart does show that there are peanuts in their wings and teokboki. The only item that didn't have peanuts was the kimchi fried rice. However, take this with a grain of salt, but my boyfriend who has a nut allergy did end up eating the rose teokboki leftovers and didn't have a reaction.

Delicious food, fast service and very casual ambiance. Most of the things you need are self serve except for the food. Servers/hostess were pretty nice :)

BB.Q Chicken is my absolute favorite Korean fried chicken spot. I've pretty much gone to all of the locations in the South Bay and each one has been delicious. I love how they have the lunch specials where you can get the boneless wings with fries or rice and a drink for less than $15. I also like the half and half whole chicken which comes with two different sauce options. If you don't like any of the sauce options, you can opt for sauce on the side or order half of a whole chicken with soy garlic or honey garlic which is just two of my favorite sauces. But nothing beats the golden Original Classic because that one is so good! It's crispy, crunchy, juicy and so flavorful. I would choose BB.Q Chicken over KFC and Popeyes any day. Staff is really friendly and very helpful as well.
