OMG - I ordered a large number of buns catered for an adult birthday party and they delivered - metaphorically and literally. The bao buns were a huge hit with all the guests; I mean - the pork belly buns were gone before I even noticed. We had beef buns, tofu buns, and chicken buns were also wildly popular. Perfect party food! 1000% will be ordering again for a future event! Food was so good and so much was happening, I didn't grab a pic - but you know what they look like. Also - their trays just LOOK impressive when set out on a table. A whole tray of beautiful bao buns looks amazing - AND - tastes amazing! Thanks so much for the fast catering turnaround - everyone was so happy!

We were craving bao buns and were so excited to find this place in San Pedro Square. We got a bit turned around at first since we didn't know their kitchen serves food in Tiki Pete's Bar. We walked in on the bar having a special girls night out strip show which added to the fun! We ordered the Shoyu pork buns and Daddy's ribeye buns and both were amazing. Our favorite was the shoyu pork buns! The chopped and pickled veggies on top was a great touch and so was the sauce and marinade of the meats. We will definitely be back!

Our union got food catered from Bun Me Up again. I personally ate the pork belly and I can say that it's great. Nice and fatty, moist, soft, and tasty flavors. Well balanced combo of flavors this time with the pickled onions. I loved also the cilantro flavor to contrast. I would come back to eat the pork belly again. My coworker liked the beef bowl as well.

Food is really good! Ive tried all their bun flavors before and I think the chicken one is my favorite, the fried garlic on top is the best part. Close runner ups for me are the beef and the shoyu pork. The tofu is also surprisingly good and better than what I expected, its really crispy and flavorful. The pickled vegetables are so good!! I usually dont like onions but the pickled ones here are yummy I like the signage of the store and the names and captions on the menu are really fun to read.

Bun me up is SO GOOD. I've tried all the bun options on the menu and they're all amazing. My favorites are shoyu and soy garlic chicken. It's obvious that the ingredients they use are fresh and good quality. I love the combo of the warm bun and flavorful meat with the cold, crispy vegetables. Also the presentation is so colorful and pretty! I get so excited when I see Bun Me Up's booth at events. I would definitely recommend :)

I've been wanting to try these buns for so long and I was so disappointed :( I ordered the pork belly buns at Tiki Pete's. The pork belly was both dry and greasy, the vegetables were not fresh, and the pickling medium had way too much sugar to vinegar. I also just felt bleh after eating them. Logistics: - I ordered these as the food option in the downtown SJ Tiki Pete bar, though it looks like they cater as well. I arrived as soon as the bar opened *at 6* to avoid the bar crowds. - indoor seating only - near paid public parking garages and lots of transit options - there is a vegetarian bao bun

I had their buns at a catered event and their food is amazing. I tried the garlic chicken, beef, and work and I think the chicken one was my favorite. It has a bit of a kick from the chili but not too spicy. All the sauces on the buns really complement each protein and the fresh veggies and pickled onions really balance the buns. For entree three is enough for a meal. I'll definitely be coming to try more things at this place or order catering for events.

We used Bun Me Up for one of our catering events at SJSU and they were a hit! The students were huge fans of rolled tofu and in fact, that was eaten more than the other tasty option, soy garlic chicken. From what we saw, both options were popular fillings and the fresh toppings really brought the entire bun together. They offer dairy free buns as well if you need to cater to lactose intolerance. Joshua was very good at communicating throughout the entire process and showed up right on time for delivery as well. Highly recommend!

Haven't had such fluffy buns filled with succulent and flavorful cuts of meat in a while. A friend and I tried their Braised Pork belly Buns, Shoyu Pork Buns, Shaking Beef Buns, crispy tofu buns, Angry bird bowl (off-menu), and mango lassi. Most everything was great, especially the braised pork belly and shoyu pork buns. The tender soy marinated cuts of pork really hit the spot, and I loved the ají verde sauce that came w the shoyu pork bun. The shaking beef reminded me of the sweet and savory korean bbq meats, and the crispy tofu bun had a hickory bbq flavor. I really enjoyed the angry bird bow! It's an off menu item with aromatic fried rice and spicy sautéed chicken. So good! Mango Lassi was a nice smoothie to wash it all down Our host was very kind and informative. The business is run by young chefs and they seem very honest and open to advice! Bun Me Up is located in the Tiki Pete Bar, good music and great place to chill at night.
