Wow. Coming from someone who has mainly eaten their pizza (not my favorite), I am pleasantly surprised. I got the hot dog, and the only con was the bun getting soggy. Honestly this is understandable as the hot dog is ginormous. The hot dog itself is 100% beef and $1.50, including a soda which I chose to bypass for some sense of healthiness. It was so warm, not too greasy, and just so good. I have tried an expensive gourmet hotdog, and this one isn't too far off. Now for their cookie. As a self-proclaimed cookie connoisseur, I know a good cookie when I see one. This one had heft to it, and was crispy on the edges and gooey in the inside. It is so soft in the center that it fell apart when I held it. I would give this cookie an 8/10. If was a bit too buttery, which overpowered other flavors I have come to appreciate in cookies, such as more of the chocolate flavor. My current favorite cookie spot adds a dash of cinnamon to their cookies. Overall, for a food court that needs to produce a lot of food quickly for Costco's many customers, I say well done!

First, I am from Tampa, not Lombard, IL. Anyway, in an effort to maximize profit, Costco went to automation for your orders. In the past the hot dog/fountain drink combo was the best lunch deal in tow. That was when you could get sauerkraut with the dog. And the relish and onion dispensers were working. Now it is a crap shoot. No more sauerkraut and sometimes the relish and onions are there, sometimes not. I pay more for a good hot dog around Tampa. It helps me keep my sanity.

Yelp keeps insisting I review this, despite never typing anything relating to Costco, so here goes. The food court used to be great until 2013, when the first "big lie" came from Costco. All the food courts closed for six months because they were being remodeled. Management told us "big changes" were coming and so America expected more food and beverage choices, more seats and more staff. All they did was change the Coke machines to Pepsi, which only 2 people in my entire life have ever liked. The lie obviously was to save money since Pepsi has always given free syrup to small businesses as long as they sign a contract to not sell anything else. I went to college behind the orange curtain where Pepsi I based and it's the only place in the country you see forced Peps everywhere and nobody likes it. The theme is, if its too expensive, just get rid of it altogether, but Costco doesn't have the moxie and is holding out until Sam's Club shutters there's. Since Sam Walton and the last Costco CEO left (who only made $250k a year) all the food courts have sucked a proverbial egg. Costco sells more hot dogs than all 30 MLB stadiums combined, but that didn't stop them from ensuring their pisspoor hot dogs and pepperoni pizza are all you really can get. The only thing which consistently tasted good was $5...the BBQ beef brisket sandwich. Even Forbes magazine was angry and covered it's 2018 nixing. 2018 was the second big year of decimating the food court, because we don't need frozen yogurt anymore, in those hot warehouse stores. Gelato was nixed in 2015, so why not nuke everything dairy? This is the same company who decided arbitrarily we didn't need mahi mahi and only wanted tilapia fish, which went over like passing gas in a lift. Getting rid of hand-dipped ice cream bars at the food court in 2013 was the beginning of the end, which Pepsi and nuking the BBQ brisket sandwich finished off. The second "big lie" came during the pandemic. Just as MLB was lying in insisting the pitcher couldn't bat because it increased COVID, but still keeping a ninth spot in each lineup, Costco doubled down and one-upped MLB in an ignorant and frustrating way that is still irritating customers. Costco decided they could not longer offer any pizza other than just pepperoni because it increased COVID risk. We all knew this was a lie and let them run with it, until Costco magically declared the pandemic was over and we could ditch wearing masks. Today, you can still only find pepperoni pizza. Costco doesn't have the moxie to be honest and just say they're being cheap and don't care, or better yet, just close the food courts altogether, because that's what Costco really wants and has since 2013. Who knows what the third great "big lie" will be, but given they have little left on the menu, we can only assume they'll eliminate the hot dog and blame it on the conflict in Israel and Ukraine. Why not, they're on a roll and customers keep accepting it like sheep, so why not really go for it and "teach" us a lesson for starting all those signature petitions and bad magazine reviews? It's insane to read the (presumably) fake 5-star Yelp reviews herein saying how wonderful their nasty ass hot dogs and Pepsi taste. If you'd been living in a military prison, maybe the hot dog would be ok and you wouldn't mind waiting in line behind 30 people. Stupid is as stupid does...Forrest Gump could better manage the food court operation, which deserves 2-stars because it could be a lot better. They should do a deepfake of Tom Hanks (that way they don't have to pay them, rule #1 at Costco) saying Gump is bringing his famous cuisine to every food court and it's such a big change they have to temporarily close for 6 months. When you lie as outrageously as Costco, the skies the limit. Sam's Club has gotten the last laugh; at some point they've copied their stores to look so much like Costco even the price tag signs are identical. Walmart has deep pockets and will wait Costco out, so they might as well just unleash the third big lie (the kraken) and close the food court...where they have been found guilty as charged of destroying a wonderful thing and telling outrageous lies to hungry customers in bad faith. If Yelp allowed polls, we could all prognosticate what the final big lie will be for closing the food court. The winner could receive a box of stale hot dogs and swollen cans of Pepsi, but will think they're really getting a trophy.

Yes I'm giving 5 stars to the Costco Hot Dog with no apologies it's hot it's delicious and for under $2 with a drink it's a bargain and adding your version of how you dress the dog with the catsup, mustard and relish I miss the onions what happened to those onions @costco? as for ambiance it's Costco

I almost gave this place 4 stars just for the price, but yeah, it's not THAT good. You come here because it's convenient, fast, and very cheap. And yeah, the hot dogs with some mustard are good, ballpark-level food. The chicken... whatever... The thing stuffed with chicken is not good. That feels every bit as unhealthy as I'm sure it is. I tried it once and felt gross after eating it. I do wish they could uncouple the sodas from the hot dogs, though. I really just want some cold water, even for the same price. It's just weird getting them nearly forced on you. Pizzas here are much better than the hot dogs, though. Yeah, your choices are basically pepperoni and no-pepperoni, but it's surprisingly good for how cheap its. You could definitely pay more for worse pizza around here. This isn't a place for anyone trying to be healthy, but if you're rushed or just really, really hungry it will suffice.

Terrible service + BURNT pizza crust!! One of the workers with large nose piercings told us to wait until our pizza order was called and we ended up waiting for 30 minutes while they were giving out new orders of pizzas to other customers that ordered way after us. Then finally another worker called out to us because he noticed us waiting for a while and ignored our complaints when we told him about his coworker. Im glad you both watch my boyfriend and I just stand and wait while you helped other customers! The girl just watched us wait and kept staring at us!! She never bothered to tell us she made a mistake of telling us to wait for that long :) terrible never coming back here ever and i hope to never receive her service again thanks! yucky!

Love love love this Costco food court and the fact that it's located OUTSIDE of the store. Such a smart idea! I am not sure why all of locations aren't set up like this because it really helps relieve the congestion in the front of the store. I'm a Costco member but even non members are able to come and enjoy a quick, cheap meal. I like to switch it up and get either a chicken bake, a polish dog, or slice of pizza. Most of the time the polish dog wins. Mmmmm now I'm hungry. Let's be honest, this is a Costco...and it's always busy. So, naturally the parking lot is pretty crazy as well. Don't worry you can always find a spot, just be patient. I recommend parking on the side near the tire center.

The Costco Food Court is really a suburb of Dullsville these days. Granted, it's not REALLY Costco's fault ( but COVID's ) but it still sucks that you can't get some of your favorites like the Combo pizza and some of the other good stuff you used to be able to get. There are only 4 little tables here now where there used to be some huge ones and little ones everywhere. I ordered a slice of pizza, a drink and churro and I had a hard time finding a place to sit and it was because there really was no place to sit. I felt like i was commiting a crime ( against myself, mind you ) by taking off my mask and trying to eat cos of the way Omicron is propagating around the world like worst case of herpes known to man! Jeez, when is the Covid thing going to end?! You can't even enjoy a decent Costco hot dog anymore! OH THE HORROR! Hey, good thing Costco hasn't raised their prices ( there STILL is a God! SOMEWHERE :)
