We LOVE this place for breakfast. The fried chicken & egg sandwich is so large you can't eat it all in one serving. The poached egg on mashed potatoes with bacon & chives is delicious. It's served in a mason jar, makes it easy to transport. Please return your jars so we can still keep having this lovely item. I can't say enough good things about this spot! The coffees are also great.

Just the best breakfast sandwiches ever. Their coffee selection is a bit limited, but you can hit Moonbeans a few doors down for that. Egghead's sandwiches are worth making the two separate orders for. The star of these sandos is definitely the eggs. They're scrambled moist and fluffy, with a generous enough portion that they'll slip out of the bun if you remove the wrapper haphazardly. The sauce they use is a delicious creamy mayo concoction that perfectly compliments them. Even if you opt for a sandwich with a more traditional sunny-side egg on it, the eggs are fresh with a perfectly loose yolk. The Eggy (which comes in a jar!) needs to be tried to be believed, or even understood. It seems like a weird choice with all of the sandos on sale, but trust: you have to try this thing at least once. Always a satisfying choice. So glad to have a location in south San Jose.

I came in with my friend and her daughter and the place looks nice inside it busy and decided to dine in. They had two kiosks to order from so I went on the other one and it was only for burgers when it was my turn to go on the other kiosk another customer came in and someone took their order at the front. I was curious if they'd bother to take my order while waiting. While waiting for my order the employees brought my friend's order and my ice coffee. While waiting I got a notification my order was ready but waited a few minutes if my order will be delivered to my table. I had to go up to the counter and asked for my order mind you there are 3 other people waiting also. When they helped a customer with an order before me I said my order number and the employee looked confused and the customer behind me said they handed my order to the person that just walked past me and the customer called him back. My order was handed off wrong and they packaged it to go. I was a little upset the employee didn't apologize. When I opened my order I saw they were missing my sauce I was charged extra and asked at the counter. The girl just looked and handed it and not apologized again. I gave three stars for my meal which is good was good but wish my experience at the store was different.

Saw this place near the 24 Hour Fitness and popped my head in to check it out. They have chicken sandwiches as well as hamburgers. Interestingly enough they have 2 kiosks, 1 where you purchase the chicken and another where you purchase the burgers. I decided to get a chicken sandwich and my wife decided on a lettuce burger. The chicken sandwich side has tater tots and the burger side has waffle fries. The food took a little while and when I got my chicken sandwich, I noticed that the chicken was thigh meat. I had assumed that it would be breast meat. So I took the sandwich back and asked if I could get breast meat instead and they told me I could have chicken strips. The strips were fried where the sandwich I had purchased was grilled, but I was fine with the substitution. I got the new sandwich and the chicken strips were pretty huge. They were crispy, juicy and had a hint of sweetness like honey. I liked my sandwich and the wife liked her burger.

Egghead is located in a shopping plaza near Kaiser. I'm not a big sandwich/burger person, but the Chic sandwich I got was very good. The cashier was nice. The place also had an ordering machine with pictures and descriptions to give you a better idea of what you're getting. * Chic Sandwich 4.5/5 - The portion was pretty big and I like the double proteins of chicken and egg. The fried chicken was moist, though a bit plain. The tastiest part was actually the breading. It's weird to say, but the breading was very crispy, flavorful, with a bit of a spicy kick. I was surprised that I liked it more than the chicken. The bottom of the egg was a little rubbery, but the yolk was nice and soft, truly over medium. The brioche bun was my least favorite part. It was crispy, but a bit burnt and dense, not fluffy.

While in town visiting, we were looking for a place to have breakfast. We decided to go to Egghead Sando Cafe. It was easy to find. There's some construction in the shopping center/parking lot but parking was okay. There is a kiosk to place your order along with a front counter if you prefer a person or have questions. We used the kiosk and ordered The Scramble Sandwich, Waffle Fries & Matcha Cafe Latte. Their system texts you your order # and again when your orders ready. We decided to eat there. There's plenty of seating from tables to booths. They have a small selection of games you can play while visiting. The Scramble Sandwich - This is scrambled egg with chives and onions ( I opted out of both), cheese and a super soft bun! DELISH!!!!! Waffle Fries - A decent size box of seasoned waffle fries. DELISH! Matcha Cafe Latte - An iced coffee with matcha. This was not good at all. It was kinda of griddy, not sweetened at all.

This was our first time here. The shop was well decorated and had lots of room to sit! There was a place to get utensils, napkins and condiments. We ordered our food at the kiosk and it came rather quickly! We ordered the: Ultimate Sando (7/10) it was good but nothing mind blowing. The bread was soft and everything matched well. It was even better with sriracha added. The Side Chick (9/10) now this was a delicious sandwich! The bread was soft, the sandwich itself was huge. The chicken patty looked like two large slices that might mistakenly made its way into our one sandwich, but we won't say no to that. The arugula and tomatoes gave it a perfect level of freshness. Delicious. Waffle fries (5/10) average and tasted like waffle fries from anywhere. Hojicha strawberry latte (7/10) good but nothing mind blowing our preferred taste at the moment since the hojicha was more bitter than we typically prefer. Matcha strawberry latte (8/10) good. We liked the strawberry to match ratio. Overall it this place had great memorable sandwiches and we'd like to come back to try some other sandwiches!

I've only had Egghead for takeout since my husband usually grabs it after the gym, but wow, the sandwiches here are amazing. They are loaded with flavor, made with quality ingredients, and always packaged perfectly. The eggs are consistently cooked just right, which makes every bite spot on.

Was in the area and looked up quick lunch spots and tumbled across this place. Upon arrival we were not greeted. Maybe this is because they're going for a cafeteria vibe. Self order, self seating, and food gets brought out to the front for us to grab on our own. You order through a standing kiosk. I like how the kiosk menu has the photo with pricing. Which helps a lot! No one ever spoke to us or asked us if we had any questions. Everyone was just in the back as we could see through their kitchens open window. No one was up front the whole time. Maybe because we came for a late lunch around 2pm. We ordered and sat ourselves. Enough dinning space and very open. Place looks nice and updated but you can tell it's been there for a while. Their bakery side was completely shutdown with no food line production going on. We waited almost 20 mins for our food. While waiting a worker came out with drinks asking almost every table who ordered the drinks he had in his hand. Not sure what happened there. I can't recall but I believe we didn't get a buzzer we just had to go up and check if our food was done and or wait for an order call. I noticed a lot of fountain drink options were out of order as well. 2 out of the 5 so the options were limited. Now about the food! I really wanted to like it and I was so excited to try it. Im a huge fan of egg sandos and chicken sandwiches. The chicken sandwich came with a huge fried chicken. A little too huge right at the center of the burger. It lacked a bit of seasoning and sauce. So we went up to ask for side sauces which was spicy mayo. The egg Sando didn't have enough egg and egg was a little cooked too well and not buttery and fluffy. Bread is suppose to be a brioche but it seemed a little dense. The eggy was just okay. We've had eggslut in LA before so was expecting more of a rich egg texture. It was more purée potato. Per my aunt who ordered that, she said she remembered receiving more than 4 slices of toast before. She's been there once prior. These are just some minor things to consider, but overall we came on an empty belly and it being a late lunch we devoured or food. It's good but needs a bit more work.

I have visited this place a few times now and I think the food is really good. The portions are quite large. I haven't ordered any of the drinks. Every time I've visited has been consistent and good.
