I didn't know this place existed until they started hosting Star Trek trivia night in September! It is 100% awesome. Lots of tables to play board games on, lots of PC's to play other games on. This is a nerd's paraside and I wish I had known about it sooner. They have food and drinks. The food is I believe all sandwiches and the avocado and turkey is fantastic. I do wish they had hamburgers though. The drinks menu is small but all game themed. Went there on Super Smash Bros night and it was PACKED last month. All in all, a business that will get my money.

The five stars are only for their Free Tuesday night family and friends boardgaming nights. Every Tuesday night, everyone is allowed to join in on the boardgames provided there, or bring in a boardgame that they want to play. Coming here was worthwhile for boardgames which needed the larger groups of players to reach peak enjoyment. Also, joining into boardgames with neighborhood people who are not friends or family, allows for more ruthless competition, as well as playing against new people with unknown and unexpected playing styles. There were around 20 boardgamers in the smaller room, and about 30 more in the grand hall. Boardgames and card games were both underway when I visited. There might of been an RPG going on as well.

This is my go-to place whenever I want to go out with my girlfriend or group of friends. It's so spacious with plenty of tables and places to chill at. We typically go for the board games that are already provided, but sometimes we come to hang out and watch people play on the big screens. We don't drink but the mocktails one of the bartenders made us was fantastic! I profanely love the cookies here too.

This is one of my favorite spots in downtown San Jose. Tonssssss of board games to choose from and have always had all the pieces. Great drinks and tasty food. You can come with just a couple people or a whole crew and have plenty of space. The environment is very relaxed and welcoming. Love coming here!

It's a very spacious area for having fun with friends. Bar and snacks available were tasty. Service is prompt with making drinks and keeping the tables around tidy. Plenty of table top games to play and gaming systems to use. One of my top hangout spots in DTSJ

Was at Guildhouse for a private function and it is a great space! Wide open clean site lines. I would definitely come back again. If anyone is looking for an event venue in San Jose, I'd say this is a great option. Parking was easy to find and pretty cheap.

Fun spot for big crowds. Love that there's a big range of games (tabletop games all the way to modern PCs) for different folks.

An event space made for the gamer in us! TV set ups for Nintendo switch gaming, with devices ready for gaming. Plenty of PC rigs for high level gaming. Friendly staff with lots of accommodation! It's about $20 per hour to use the TVs if you want to connect your own controllers. Just keep in mind that the drink are a bit expensive & watered down/not strong. But I'll definitely be back for the games part.

Very impressed with the space and drinks. Lots to do, so the fun board games, ample amount of tables and seating, and wide selection of drinks. I didn't order the food but I noticed they also sell food too! Keep in mind the kitchen closing time though. Super lively atmosphere and outgoing staff! I heard it's the only place that had soju on tap! I tried the Emerald Dream (melon soju) and Sarangbae (strawberry soju) cocktail. Each soju cocktail is $12 which is pretty cheap! Considering other bar places would sell almost $20. I liked the melon one a tad bit more. But both were very good and sweet. Easy to drink which can be dangerous.. My friend's Princess Peach looks like water but rest assured it had alcohol. I saw people come here in large groups, celebrating bdays, which makes it an ideal spot for overall social gathering.

Cool place for gamers to hang out. They have a shelf full of boardgames or you can bring your own. It looks like you can rent consoles but we didn't do that this time around. Fun cocktails but limited food items.
