First night here, but already happy with the accommodations. The suite is a nice size, 2 TVs and a lot of space to stretch out. I'm only staying for 2 nights, but I think it's going to be perfect. There's two air conditioning units, which seems a bit much, especially for California, but the square footage is so large, you kind of need it. The staff was great at check-in, and I used my Hilton app for the first time to get access to the building and my room. I know the tech has been around for a while, but this is my first time using it. There's a pool, hot tub, grills, and basketball court for some extracurriculars. They also serve breakfast daily and there's 24/7 coffee in the lobby. I haven't seen the gym, but I plan to use it tomorrow. Next day: I had to edit my review from 4 to 5 stars. The breakfast buffet was stellar, featuring a pot of rice and chorizo potatoes! The location of this hotel is a perfect distance between the hotel and my office. I will stay here again!

Homewood Suites by Hilton located in Trimble Road close to the San Jose Airport is very nice property. I must share the of the friendliest staff member Brie a d Fely who welcomed us at the hotel. They were outstanding and most warm personalities we have EVER met in our world wide travels and interactions with hospitality team members. Fely was working the front desk on a quite Sunday morning and was kind and gracious. She was been at the property for 13 years. Brie is a phenomenal engaging.and kind force of nature! She has been working there for 3 years. Wow! They both earned "Five Stars" as far as I am concerned! Bravo! Why were we in San Jose for a August weekend? Well, we moved into our 1909 Victorian in San Francisco 17 years and we needed to have refresh including our hardwood floors. Since we have two dogs we need to let them dry over the weekend. My wife selected this property which she choose over Marriott properties despite being Bon Voy Elites members. We were very please with our short stay except for a minor breakfast bar issue. The hot buffet was very good, as well ans make your own waffles and amble fresh fruits selections. However the pastry items were very poor, old, not fresh as every things else and IMHO cost the Homewood Suite a "5" star. Otherwise we would recommend this property due to its incredible and excellent team members Fely & Brie. The suite were large and well equipped for longer stays, close to San Jose Airport, StarBucks,and 11 restaurants only a few feet away. Bravo!

TLDR: Conveniently located by SJC airport, but with noisy and dark bedrooms, ants in the bathroom, and a meager breakfast. Located about 10-15 minutes from San Jose Airport and Santa Clara University, this hotel resembles a condo community with 2-3 story buildings set amongst landscaping, a pool, and basketball court. Although the rooms are spacious with a kitchen, they are dungeon dark with tiny windows and lack of lighting. The walls and windows have no soundproofing so we heard EVERYTHING outside from people talking in the parking lots, airplanes flying overhead, snoring neighbors next door, heavy footstep neighbors above you, and motorcycles racing up and down the streets and business parking lots at midnight. The bathroom is the brightest room, but every evening we were visited by ants coming through cracks in the walls. Front desk staff was always friendly and helpful during our stay. But the complimentary breakfast was pitiful. They always ran out of fresh fruit except old apples, the waffle batter was bland, the pastries were doughy and overly sweet, the eggs were overcooked like they'd been sitting out all day, and the coffee was weak. Guess you get what you pay for with a free breakfast.

Felt like a little apartment has everything you need 2 stove burner,dishwasher, microwave, and fridge. Property has a pool and a hot tub. Complimentary breakfast in the mornings.

This is for a staff shoutout for Dylan who assisted me at the front desk. I saw online that there was an event being hosted at one of the Hilton locations. I went to the location that was on North First Street since that is what was listed on the event page but when I entered, they said instructed me to come here instead to check. Dylan asked a lot of questions and was interested in helping me, which I greatly appreciated. He even called his manager to help assist me to see if they knew anything about the event. I saw his efforts in looking up the event for me also. Even though I was not able to attend the event in the end, I was glad that Dylan assisted me as much as he could!

Stayed last minute for New Years Eve & wanted a 2 bedroom close to Great America since we had the kiddies with us & this hotel had the most reasonable price for the night. Appropriately 15 min away driving so not able to walk to GA as friend wanted to do. One large King size bed room with ample space, the second bedroom is ok for a kid or teen by themselves but not for 2 adults. Living room did have a pull out couch although uncomfortable and needs to be updated. Breakfast was decent. Kids didn't wake up on time so they didn't even get to eat but I had oatmeal, coffee & toast and hard boiled egg. Cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs was offered.

The front desk people here are very friendly and helpful. The facility is very basic and in need of some repair and renovation. They even charge for parking (Diamond members too!) I can only imagine they are saving for the much needed maintenance on this dated property. Also, had to air out the room from all the air "freshener" housekeeping used. I was sneezing from the thick particulate in the air. Woosh

The place was nice. Mostly clean. My main problem was they advertise free breakfast ending at 10 am. We went to the breakfast area at 9:45 and they had two slices of white bread, about 10 sausage patties, 10 soggy half cooked hash browns and no eggs. I asked if they were making more eggs and the man went in the back. I sat with my grandchildren while they ate cereal since there was nothing else for them. I was waiting for eggs...the same man I had asked about the eggs, came out of the kitchen at 10:01 and started breaking down the area, putting everything away!! I chose this place so the kids could have a good breakfast before going to Great America so they would not be hungry when we got there. I am not happy at all. We won't be lodging here again!
