I work across the street and found my new quick bite spot! Staff is always super friendly. Big shout out the happy energetic manager - Sergio! He's so welcoming and makes my day every time I come in! Cafeteria vibes, but well kept with lots of seating. The refrigerated "grab and go" section is pretty decent. The cheese and fruit are my usual picks. They also have sandwiches that are good too. I've tried a good amount of their main menu items, but the caprese panini is so far is my fav :) Oh! & there's a self served sauce area in individual packets for my fellow saucers :D

So disappointed - we had a really mediocre lunch at The Tech. We used to go to Tony's in Alviso - the food was really creative and delicious! We used their catering several times as well - always wonderful. And when Tony's first won the spot at the Tech, we attended a party there that was catered by Tony's - fabulous! What happened to the yummy homemade soups and inventive sandwiches? Maybe the menu here is geared to the tastes of the average peanut butter and jelly eating crowd? Wish it weren't so.

Located inside The Tech Museum of Innovation but accessible to guests who aren't visiting the museum as well. Plenty of seating with a few table outside incase you'd prefer to soak up the sun while enjoying lunch. They have everything from pre made sandwiches for those in a hurry to made to order sandwiches, salads, pastas and more. I ordered the tomato soup and grilled cheese combo and went to find a place to sit. I felt like I'd just settled in when a smiling face delivered my lunch. I was happily surprised to see my lunch also came with a small mixed green salad as well. The creese sandwich was crisp and buttery but I wished the cheese would have been a sharper cheddar. Other than that it was pretty darn good. The salad was perfect because it cut the richness of the sandwich and the soup. Oooooh the soup. So tomato soup is really hit and miss. Some are flavorless and some just taste like spaghetti -O's ... Yuck! But the tomato soup and Lunch with Tony is REALLY good. It's rich, creamy and simply delicious. I think this is my new go to comfort food lunch place based on the tomato soup alone!

Foul! Side salad was literally moldy lettuce they tried to hide under a dressing. Now, please understand my expectations for a museum cafe is very low, but even with that in mind it was horrible.

Gourmet food. Gourmet taste with fastfood price. The best of both worlds. I would appreciate if they had more complex carbs options. All the white bread sandwiches are simple carbs.

My boyfriend and I brought my daughter to this particular lunch location because we were attending some of the attractions at the Tech Museum and we're taking afraid to enjoy a bite to eat. I noticed right away that the woman behind the counter had a really hard time acknowledging me and the many people who started to come to the counter behind me. She gave us a really dirty look and proceeded to just do some other non-customer oriented tasks. I think there were about ten of us standing in line before someone came over. I would say the ten of us had stood in that line for about 5 minutes before she would come over and help us. When she came over I said a very nice hello and how are you doing today and she said what do you want with a very stern voice. I acknowledge that she must be working very hard and I apologized for inconveniencing her. There was another woman who had a small piercing under her bottom lip and she was the only one who seemed to smile at the end of our transaction. It was a super uncomfortable feeling.

Museum food. Enough said. It is terrible, overpriced, and the food of last resort. I ate here only because I was seeing the new Star Wars and had only ten to twenty minutes to grab food before the show and I didn't feel like popcorn for breakfast. I ordered a grilled cheese. What I got were two half cooked bleached white bread slices with a small slice of half melted processed cheese inside. They didn't bother to use butter or salt, and it was terrible. The WORST grilled cheese I have ever eaten - and I have eaten at some TERRIBLE truck stops and hospitals before! It also came with a very sad salad of wilted mixed greens, and I paired it with a glass of tap water. The only redeeming quality - they sold rice krispies (packaged goods) that weren't half bad. Seating wa also eay, and they took credit.

The staff is young but they were polite and helpful. We ordered the beef nachos which were amazing and I had a turkey burger that was really tasty. I would give this place a try.

They recently started offering patio BBQ and it's really yummy. Love their brisket, BBQ sandwiches and salads. Fresh and delicious! We will def be coming back!
