My chicken sandwich and matcha lemonade was so tuff it made my mouth water. The service was so tuff as well. The kind staff took the time to explain in detail what matcha was. Would come back again for sure. Cheers!

We were running errands in Campbell and wanted a good breakfast saw which. This place popped up on Yelp and I got excited bec we were already in the area. When we got there, there's was a small line, but I was 3rd in line so I thought it would be quick. Boy was I wrong. It wasn't 20 mins wait, not even 30 or 40. It was 1 hr wait for 2 breakfast sandwich. Smh. I wasn't expecting that and I wish we were told that there would be a long wait when we placed our order. When we got our food - we were really excited but sadly it was a let down. The burger was decent- I wish there's more flavor. It was the chicken sandwich that was the letdown. It needed seasoning and some sauce. The portion is huge - the chicken was big but that was about it. The service was great though - servers were pleasant despite the chaos and long wait.

The wait here is long and it is quite popular but if you are looking for a nice breakfast sando. The ambiance is casual although service is a little slow. We ended up waiting about 30-40 minutes once we placed our food. We ended up trying: *BAE- this was yummy with soft scrambled eggs and bacon which we really liked *mad chick - if you are into fried chicken, this is the one for you! Enjoyed the crispy chicken with all the different toppings in the sandwich *Dirty tots - these were really yummy with a nice flavorful gravy which was nice. We also got a side of chipotle aioli which was yummy and flavorful and went well with the sandwiches. Would definitely check this place out!

Came here for lunch at 12PM on a Saturday. There were 2 people in front of me and the line was out the door. Not a long wait either drinks came out fast in 5 minutes and food came out in 10 mins. There is a good amount of seating inside and outside. The cashier was so sweet and helpful! I informed her about my food allergies and she made sure with the chef. I wanted to order the mad chick but couldn't replace the over easy egg with the scrambled eggs. The cashier recommended the classic and to get the fried chicken on the side. My cousin got the curry moco which was good but had lots of rice! It wasn't tomato based and didn't have ketchup in it which was good. We also ordered the dirty tots to share. I ordered the coconut matcha (it was good and had bits of coconut in it) and I think the matcha could be stronger. My cousin got the lilikoi green tea which was good but super sour :/ Overall, the fried chicken was our fav (5/5). It had really good flavor and seasoning. The classic sandwich was okay (4/5), curry moco (4/5) very filling, dirty tots (3/5) good to try but wouldn't crave again. Would come back next time to get the mad chick sandwich and try out the other drinks :)

This store was newly opened in Willow Glen. There was a long line for Sunday lunch and the wait was about 20min for ordering and another 10min to get the food. We ordered the b.a.e sandwich and shrooms sandwich. The b.a.e is essentially bacon, avocado, and eggs. The bacon was super crispy! The soft scrambled eggs were soft and very moist. The buns were soft and lightly sweetened. The shrooms also came with soft scrambled eggs and a generous portion of mushrooms and caramelized onions. One thing that I was a bit disappointed was that the soft scrambled eggs for both sandwiches were too watery, which made the buns too moist. The menu also included a few drink options such as matcha latte (original or flavored) and coffee. They also had other side dishes like salads. Parking may be difficult during peak hours because it was a small parking lot. Overall the taste was good, but I wish the scrambled eggs were less watery :)

Mad Yolks is located in Meridian Glen Center. We went on a Sunday around 10am and there was a line, 5 people deep. Line moved quickly though. Indoor dining is pretty limited, about 7 tables and two outdoor tables. You place your order with the cashier and seat yourself. They call your name when your food is ready. We ordered.. DIRTY TOTS $7 -crispy tater tots smothered with japanese curry, sunny-side-up egg and furikake. I liked the crispy tater tots but the curry and egg didn't do much for it. 3/5* BREAKFAST BURRITO $13.75 -soft scrambled eggs, crusted potatoes, avocado, chihuahua cheese, house made salsa, pico de gallo and crispy bacon in a flour tortilla. Pretty small yet hefty burrito. They made a mistake and made us a vegetarian burrito, with mushrooms instead of bacon. I brought it back up and they made us a new one with bacon and said we could keep the vegetarian burrito too. Whoever assembled the bacon burrito did a terrible job, because after two bites, the bottom fell through. There were a lot of fluffy eggs, ingredients seemed fresh but the whole burrito just didn't have much flavor. I also asked for some garlic and spicy aioli on the side for the burrito but those didn't add much to it either. Bland.. 3/5* STRAWBERRY MATCHA LATTE $5.50 -matcha and strawberry with milk of choice. Basic, light and watered down. Visually appealing, that's about it. 2.5/5* Overall bland. Maybe I should have stuck to the sandwiches?

Love love love! Great bang for your buck supporting a smaller local business. So happy that the Santa Cruz crew made their way over to Willow Glen This was my first good matcha experience! I've had ones that tasted like water before, this one was perfect! I tried my husbands "Alex's coffee" and it was delicious as well. Would go back just for the drinks, but the food is great too :)

I went twice during their soft opening and their store was really nice! The workers were very nice and service was pretty quick, despite the crowd. My first order was simple with their classic sandwich and an orange juice. The soft scrambled eggs were delicious in the sandwich and it was very delicious. However, the sandwich does get a little messy to eat toward the end. My second visit, I got alex's coffee, which was super strong, but still delicious. Honestly, it was supposed to be a latte but I think they misheard and I didn't catch the mistake. I got the classic again but also the brioche melt. It was a pretty standard cheese sandwich, so there's definitely nothing special about it. Would want to come back to try the spam sandwich. Parking in this plaza can be pretty limited if it's crowded.

I came here on a weekday and luckily I found parking but this strip mall has minimal parking. Line picked up after I ordered but orders came out quick. I remember trying this place in Santa Cruz a few years back and thought it was just ok but today the flavors were 10/10. The classic is fairly priced at $10.50, cheaper than the other option San Jose. The tater tots are super rich and flavorful, the spices blend well together. Staff was super nice and attentive. Highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area
