I went to the new Nations to try out their sliders and they were delicious and filling and they were also kind enough for us to try out a sample there delicious blueberry pie!

I been here a couple times already , got breakfast the first time , last 2 times tried different burgers & I can't complain. Sometimes it's busy and sometimes is not . Would highly recommend this spot . Vibe kinda Og but relaxing . Music chill too . Workers koo too plus they raza

Didn't realize they have chains of Nations throughout the Bay Area. Went to the San Jose location at the Plant. Came here on Monday afternoon and it was quiet. Was greeted immediately upon entrance. You have place your order at the counter and you seat yourself. The place has an old school diner type of feel with the history of the restaurant on the wall which is pretty cool. The only issue was the table not being cleaned wiped down as there woverall was a great experience. What we ordered Patty Melt: My daughter ordered this and said it's really good.Taste like a grilled cheese with a patty. Onion rings: Really good and crispy. Cowboys burger: Patty cooked perfectly and there wasn't too much bbq sauce Banana cream pie: Delicious

Noelle's Yelp Notebook 2025 Nation's Giant Hamburgers is located in The Plant Shopping Center in San Jose, California. It's located nextdoor to El Pollo Loco and Panda Express. The parking spots near the restaurant are almost always full. Yet, you can park in other spots nearby if you cannot find one close. The restaurant is cosy, not too big but not quite spacious enough. You're expected to order at the counter, pick up your food when your number is called and also bus your own table. The service is friendly 5/5. The people and the manager here are truly kind and hospitable. The food - basic diner food. Breakfast items available all day and all night. They have their famous burgers etc. The onion rings are tasty. They also sell their famous pies whole or by the slice. Since there are no Marie Callendars or the now gone Baker's Squares this is a good spot to pick up classic Americana pies- lemon meringue, apple, cream cheese, etc. The food is hit or miss. Last night my hash browns were greasy and soggy, my toast was burned. They remade it but the toast was lightly toasted and hash browns were soggy and oily. I usually love their breakfast- on a good day the eggs are scrambled to perfection, toast and hash browns are cooked to restaurant standards of normalcy. The last three times the breakfast has been an utter disappointment. Guess it all depends on the chef but breakfast items shouldn't be hard to cook. Overall, great service, clean dining space but the hot foods are so hit or miss. Hopefully, they will improve on the hot breakfast items in the near future. Next time I'm going to get a burger. Had their sliders and fries and custard pie for dessert. The sliders were better than I expected. Looked very simple but were pretty good. The meat was tasty like the patty was seasoned with onions. The sauce on the slider looked and tasted like mayo and ketchup mixed together and something else I can't pinpoint. The patty was sandwiched between a soft sweet burger buns. Fries were good too. Golden crispy. The Custard pie was good and not overly sweet. Average price, 2 sliders with fries priced at about $10. Pie slice was about $6. Very nice staff. Didn't have to wait long for the food.

First time here visiting from Sacramento and I must say I'm a burger connoisseur. I found the burgers delicious and they really are giant!! I ordered a double cheeseburger added grilled onions, pickles, pickle, jalapeños, tomato, and I stole two of my husband's onion rings and put them on there too. OMG sooo good. My son and daughter both ordered milkshakes. I tasted those two and those were excellent tasted like fresh and ingredients. Nothing cheap and artificial. Last but at least service was exceptional. Everybody there was very friendly environment was very clean and our order definitely didn't take long at all. This establishment is definitely worth the stop. make sure to bring an appetite cause their portions are huge.

I was happy because they finally opened a Nations in SJ again. Man I must say I'm disappointed. The food tastes different here. The fries the burgers don't do nations justice. Honestly im going to drive to Fremont to get Nations. Service is slow as well. It's not busy and I've been waiting over 15 minutes for just two cheeseburgers. I hope everything improves with time.

This location knows how to chef it up. That bacon cheeseburger had me saying "muy delicioso," and I don't even speak Spanish lol. The staff were super nice too. 10/10 would hit again.
