Attended the San Jose Mini Night Market on Saturday evening. Was lucky to find free street parking a block away on Third Street (free after 6pm on Saturdays, and all day Sunday). Free admission, no line for entry, advance tickets unnecessary, no ticket check at all. This food festival is almost identical to 626 and Foodieland, but only one fifth the size. It had all the same elements, just "mini" versions... a mini stage with live music, a mini sized area with games and prizes, a minimal number of merchandise vendors, minimal seating options (mostly near the stage), and even less tables, so hopefuly you like eating on your lap or standing up, and even with about 20 food trucks/tents and drink stands, it felt like minimal food offerings as well. Good news is this meant the crowds, lines, and waits were mini too, or non-existent. I went around 6pm, and I think the longest line I saw was about 7-8 people, and for many there was no line at all. Here's the food lineup for this Saturday when I visited (though this could change on Sunday, or during future events in October): Flor de Pineapple PennyLane Sweets & Treats 3 Brothers Kitchen Chicken Bros Honey Cones ABVE The Basics Grenade beverages (more creative options than just giant baby bottles) Uncle Papa's BBQ Churro stand Heluo Kitchen Bun Me Up (bao buns) Supreme Musubi Katna's Kitchen (authentic filipino food) Spy Family (tea & lemonade) Pupuseria Nathalia California's Crepes Nana Bear's Mini Donuts Wise Jun-Kombucha Mezcla (Columbian eats) Potato Hut Kimoy (chamoy korean-mexican fusion candy) By 6:30pm, several trucks started to run out of popular items, but there were still plenty of options. I only tried the shrimp quesadilla from ABVE The Basics, and chocolate donuts from Nana Bear's Mini Donuts. Both items were delish! Slightly overpriced as you would expect at this type of event, but the quality, ingredients, and service were more than satisfactory. They even put the food in takeout containers as requested. Had fun being a fatty... and you can too! For 2023, the San Jose event takes place downtown this weekend and returns for two different weekends in October.

We were happy to see another Panana Night Market at Ontario Mills. We came early during the day and there was plenty of parking, no line to get in. Admission was free and I rsvp'd for tickets online, got an email and done. You could also scan a QR code at the entrance for free admission. It was not too full, so there were almost no lines for the food vendors. We were able to try a few different ones and also found a place to sit and eat. We did enjoy the selection of food vendors, just wished that the market overall had been a little bigger. Had a good time and would definitely go again next time.

There was a lot of advertising for this event. Unfortunately it fell on the same weekend as the La county fair as well as a playoff game. I enjoyed that it was not super packed as the lines were short or non existent to get food. All the food I tried was pretty good. I wish there were more options to try. Will probably try one of these events again since they seem to pop up in different locations all over. Cool thing about this even is that's it's free entry

Panana night market in the IE was fun! Had plenty of cod vendors and merchandise vendors and accepts cash cards venmo. It can't compare to size of 626 night market but admission was free with rsvp online for tickets! Free parking and located in Ontario mills parking lot by Marshall! Had fun experience trying out variety of foods with my wife and nice way to enjoy the area! Great for family and friends to spend time and enjoy! Can be loud but is diverse culture! Drink responsibly with beer gardens and enjoy live bands! Hope to be back again lol maybe in few weeks again!

Since moving to the area (other than local farmers markets) we really don't bother going to other outdoor food markets; 626 Night Market/OC Night Market, Smorgasburg LA etc. Missing out? Maybe. After discovering Panana Night Market on Instagram, I was interested to see what it was going offer. The entrance fee is $3 (Children 3 and under are free). Parking is free at Ontario Mills, but can be a hassle sometimes. Starting this month, they made a 5 minute parking drop off area by the entrance which is convenient. Most vendors accept credit card (sometimes $1 charge) and there are ATMs by the entrance. For being brand new, I think it was organized and had a decent variety of vendors. Approximately 40 food vendors and 30 others from boutiques, art, toys, balloons etc. This weekend, we brought my sister, brother-in-law and nephew. They all had a great time here; especially the nephew. I've been to the Panana Night Market at Ontario Mills 4 times now; May 10, May 12, June 22 and June 23. Because we live pretty close, my husband and I have even come here just to eat at 1 or 2 vendors and then leave. The $6 entrance fee for the 2 of us is not a big deal to gain access to our fave food. If you want to leave and come back later, they will stamp your hand. The food prices averages $10-13. Drinks can be pricey as well if they come in a fancy container. We can't get enough of Bred's Nashville Hot Chicken; so so good and totally worth the wait. Every time we've gotten here before 5PM, there's never a line. The other place we liked was Madrigal's Mexican Food (Pound for Pound Seafood) as they have great shrimp cocktails. Last month they had Broad Street Oyster Co. here and their lobster rolls were awesome. Very happy to see my fave cupcake shop in Ontario here as well; My Delight Cupcakery. I've been a fan of theirs for many years. Other Instagram worthy places were FoodyLab626 with their raindrop cakes, SweetKloud and their cotton-candy burritos and Hawaiian Honey Cones just to name a few. They also have the drinks served in a light-bulb and giant baby bottle. I'm a fairly simple person and not into the "trendy" foods, but man once I find something delicious and they are only a pop up, then I will follow them for as long as they're in business. It's a reason why I like coming to these to discover new places I may like. The Panana Night Market is here 2 more times this year; July 19-21 and August 16-18. We'll most likely come back just to see if there are any new vendors or if the Bred's Hot Chicken is back then we'll come just for them.

If you are around the IE and want to check out a night market, then Panana Night Market is definitely worth a visit! Unlike other night markets such as 626 and the OC night market, Panana Night Market is relatively new and much less crowded with the same vendors. Admission is $3 (free for children) and parking is free in the surrounding parking lot at Ontario Mills. The entrance can be a little tricky to find but follow the signs and crowd, you can't miss it. The night market itself is very organized, with food vendors in the outside perimeters, a stage in the back with performances and entertainment every hour, craft vendors and a carnival area in the middle. Seating areas are quite limited but work your way to the stage in the back and there should be plenty of seating there. The lines for the food vendors took at most 20-25 minutes, and another 20-30 minutes for the wait after placing your order. It's most strategic if you go with a group so everyone can spread out and wait in different lines for food. The most notable food vendors were Tacos El Gringo with their savory al pastor tacos and mulitas, Bred's Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, Hawaiian Honey Cone ice cream, and Foody Lab's Tiaojiao Black Bamboo drink. Since the night market hours are 4-11pm my suggestion is to go later in the day. The vendors don't usually run out of food and the experience is a lot nicer at night without the heat. If DJ Matt Navong is on the stage, make sure you stay for his set! He plays some really awesome trance towards the end of the night.

We attended on a Friday night at Ontario Mills. We got there early and it was not crowded. Parking was a pain, we had to battle the Friday night mall shoppers. We had to pay to get in and realistically it was not worth the entrance fee. The food was not great, it was good but nothing blew us away. We tried 7 different food vendors and we did not find one that we loved. I'm glad we tried it once, but we are not likely to be repeat customers.

Panana night market was a fun experience. It was definitely smaller than the last time I went but it was still very enjoyable. I made it a family affair before my parents went out of the country & we could not have had a better time ‧

Don't compare this to 626/OC Night Markets; Panana is a new night market, so understandably, there will be growing pains. At first I was a bit wary to go, especially seeing that the inflatable entrance decoration was very pixelated/still had watermarks from the stock images... We came about 2 hours after the event started and we waited a bit to get our tickets and to get our food inside. I did notice that there was only one ticket booth open (during that time) and it caused some back up. Like 2 hours afterwards, the line to get in was massive. I was fine with the wait for what I got, but if I waited any longer, I don't think I would have been as satisfied. Many of the vendors are the same ones you see at the other night markets, but I do appreciate how Panana tried to provide much more of a variety instead of buying into what normies would generally be interested in (I'm glad I didn't see like half of the booths just fries/etc). The pricing is normal for events like this. It would be nice to have more tables and chairs, based on the size of the event and how many people wanted to get in. I know the Night Market had no control over this, but my friends all ordered from the same vendor. My cheese on a stick was perfectly fine, but their dishes that came with bulgogi had barely any in it. The website was a bit hard to navigate until like a couple days before when I figured instead of a vendors list, it was a map with the vendors. I hope in the future they will grow and have a greater variety of vendors (more boba please!). PS. Parking can get really ugly. There's valet for like $8. Try to park farther away and just walk to the event.

I can't recall I think it was $3 for entrance fee . ATM machine is a fraud, it is listed as $5 fee to with draw cash which I agree , then at home a few days later I noticed I was charged another $2.75 more or less additional fee .. Many stalls are a cash only, some except CC.. different varieties of food from poke to Korean BBQ and Mexican food stalls. Like any other night market I been too , food is pricey for the amount given .. At the end of the night this is not one of our favorite night market. Didn't have the variations of foods for our liking..
