MY GO TO LATE NIGHT SPOT IN SJ! If Sparcos has a million fans, then I am one of them. If Sparcos has ten fans, then I am one of them. If Sparcos has only one fan then that is me. If Sparcos has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against Sparcos, then I am against the world. I have went to Spartan Taco Truck so many times during my college life, whether that's a random late night big back eats with friends, an after party crave, or even after a rave. This place is super convenient because they are always open until 3am. If you are looking for some quality mexican food late at night then this is the place for you. This place is known for their Crispy Tacos so I would recommend first timers to buy that. My go to order is the either the Super Burrito or Cali Fries! This place is also cash only, but they do accept venmo. Be wary that the line can get pretty long late at night if it's a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

They are cash only, but they take Venmo. I usually go for their crispy tacos, and they're know for it. Their burritos are solid, had structure, and crisp! It's a safe choice. Remember to ask for it grilled. And go for their orange salsa.

Mannnn, I just picked food up from here. Everything was great, food was good, sauce was good, horchata was good. Took a bite half way down my burrito and bit into a rock. A ROCK. Possibly chipped my tooth. It's a shame, I really wanted to like this place more. It looks like a garden rock so I can only assume the prep wasn't as clean as it should be.

Great food truck! Got there a few mins before they opened and they were friendly and willing to take my order. I really liked the crispy tacos especially bc most places don't have crispy shells. The avocado and the sauce was a nice touch too and I appreciated how I didn't have to pay extra for it. They have a few tables outside for you to eat but a lot of people take it to go I think! Close to sjsu which I'm sure is very convenient for students there.

Such a San Jose classic, you can't miss out on this if you're taking your SF/out of state friends to get authentic Mexican food. I'm glad that they accept Venmo here as well, because I never ever have cash on me LOL. This review is from when I took my friend from Texas here for the first time, she'd been wanting to try it for a while. We ordered the three big crispy tacos, three regular tacos, regular horchata, and Cali fries (all with asada). So worth it, they're generous with the meat and don't skimp on the avocado which I love. I do wish that there was more seating offered, but I don't mind eating in the car or in the SJSU dorms!

Fire late night taco spot! Have come in the past. Near downtown SJ and a block from SJSU. Hours aren't updated as they started setting up around 8 pm and taking orders closer to 8:30. There's a few spots to park right by the truck, but pretty limited around. I had parked at the restaurant lot across and it was fine. There was a crowd gathered from the start. They have a few tables set up by the truck with canopies and lights you can eat at if you want. We hadn't eaten so we ordered carne asada big crispy tacos, al pastor super soft tacos, and carnitas cali fries. They were all delicious, but the crispy tacos especially. Good meat and generous avocado portions. The cali fries was a big portion and very filling. The orange sauce was pretty good too. Def recommend for late night cravings!

Sparcos is one of the only reasons I still carry cash with me as they're CASH ONLY!! It's my favorite late night munchie meal after a long day of studying or a night out since they're always open til 2am! They're located right next to a used tire shop and right across their brick and mortar shop. They recently rearranged their truck, so it's a little hidden behind their canopies but it gives people a lot more space to park. If parking is ever scant, you can also just park at their brick and mortar shop and walk to the truck. Since they're one of the few places open hella late, the line is usually pretty long but moves pretty fast. They also have a couple tables and seats if you wanna enjoy your late night meal right away. My go to order is usually the Big Crispy Tacos with either shrimp or Carne Asada and a small peanut butter horchata. I don't think I've ever seen a peanut butter horchata, but there's is super delicious! It has a sweet, nutty taste to it and it tastes similar to Filipino Polvoron. They add hella meat to the tacos and it pairs nicely with their homemade orange sauce, which has a bit of a kick to it. I've recently been getting their Cali Crispy Tacos, which just has fries on it, but it is also equally delicious! Definitely try them out!

Just a fire as the restaurant. I love getting the big crispy tacos they hit the spot every time! A small menu, but you know what you are coming for if you know spartan tacos. Been eating them since Covid and they have been the same high quality and great service since day 1 no matter what location they are at. Nothing like getting some city street tacos for the vibe.
