Absolutely amazing food and service. When we walked in the hostess let us know how to order and where everything was. The octopus platter and seafood enchiladas were cooked perfectly and the flavors were hands down the best I've ever had for Mexican cuisine. Watermelon cucumber margarita was a must! Not syrupy at all, tasted like fresh squeezed.

This place is awesome both for classic Mexican dishes and unique, flavorful specialty dishes. The staff is very helpful and they know what they're doing in the kitchen! Highly recommend the birria tacos and the sea bass. The guacamole was delicious!!!

Wow, I'm so glad that they’re still here! I came when they first opened years ago and fell in love with their version of seafood enchiladas. And yes, there is (literally) a secret sauce which is mango forward in its flavoring. The meal has a generous portion of two enchiladas stuffed with fish and shrimp along with a lovely fresh salad side with mandarin oranges and a citrus dressing as well as rice with queso. They also give a large basket of tortilla chips (crispy and light) and you get to choose the sals you want from the salsa bars (a California thing which I wish I could find on the east coast). Even though it may seem expensive, it’s par for the course for a dish like this. You order at the counter and they’ll bring the chips and your food to your table. Again, you get your own salsas. I’m so glad I was able to get here during my holiday in SB.

The food although not true authentic Mexican food was good.  The service was great too. I try 2 different types of enchiladas. The mole with chicken and seafood (fish and shrimp). The seafood enchilada is basically an ensenada taco loaded with a type of tartar sauce.  The mole enchilada i really like. The mole is sweet. Didn't really care for the rice and beans.

Fantastic food and always extremely friendly & efficient staff. Best salsa bar in town. Gringa al pastor is fabulous, filet al diabla delicious and they have best nachos in town. Delicious enchiladas & tacos also. Enjoy! The brothers running this restaurant are extremely talented. They have 3 tiers of restaurants. Fast casual in Los Agaves, premium with santo mezcal then ultra premium with flor de Maiz. Delicious food!
