I've been with this club for 5 years. I seen its ups and its Downs. Through this club, I was introduced to the greatness that was Toastmasters. Also, I wouldn't be the man today if I hadn't stepped foot inside this club.

Great club, super smart people, I always learn a lot. Agile Articulators is a unique Toastmasters club in that it focuses on improvised short-form debates. You choose a topic and a coin flip determines your position - either Affirmative or Negative. You then have 5 minutes to prepare your three-part argument - Constructive, Rebuttal, and Rejoinder - and then present them against your opponent. This club has stretched my critical thinking, improved my public speaking, and made interviewing a piece of cake. I'm a member of two other Toastmasters clubs and most Toastmasters are the same. The Agile Articulators format is totally unique and most similar to the interactions and communications we have on a daily basis at work and in our personal lives. Not to mention it's the only adult debate group in the Bay Area that meets every week. I can't recommend this group highly enough - it is a staple of my week. Come join us sometime soon!

I have nothing but great things to say about this Toastmasters Club! I've been to a few other TM clubs in the area, but none have compared in terms of the energy and the amount of fun this club has. Agile Articulators is unique in that is the ONLY Speech and Debate in the San Francisco Bay Area! Instead of traditional Table Topics, they run short debates. It's a twist on the regular Toastmasters meeting agenda, but the atmosphere is supportive and encouraging and they give tons of feedback! Debate topics range from the more serious political debates to silly/fun ones like soccer or baseball being a better sport or who would win a dual between Harry Potter and the Green Lantern! It's always fun hanging out with the people at Agile Articulators. They always welcome new faces and encourage speakers of all levels to join!

I look forward to coming every week. It's a very fun and non judgemental crowd to practice public speaking with. I can't believe how much I improved in just a few months. I recommend this weekly group to anyone who want to sound more articulate and persuasive at work.

This is a Fuuuuuuuuun club. I've always enjoyed Toastmaster clubs but this club is a special joy - fun topics, friendly folks, very warm and supportive club atmosphere, and challenging tasks, all the thrill I've been looking in a speaking club is here.

Great club with a fun, tight knit community. I went there to improve my debating skills, turns out it teaches you how to think on the fly and critical thinking skills as well. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to improve their ability to think fast and wanting a tight knit community.

I was a member of this club last year and loved it! I delivered one speech, won a debate and lost the rest, and participated as VP of Membership. You get access to one of the Yahoo! kitchenettes with a cafe inside. I'd always take advantage of the delicious free snacks. You gotta love YAHOO! and Agile Articulators for being such an amazing location. The only qualm is they need to start giving their club members access to an overhead projector to work on speeches requiring visual aids. Macintalkers is much better for this! However, this club is the only club with debate in the world and when you win a debate, you feel like you're on top of the world. Debate is also extremelty hilarious to watch sometimes. I will go back soon to visit and watch a debate and maybe even participate. Everyone should try it!
