My wife is a teacher and she's on her last week of summer break. We put our son in daycare this week so we could do cool stuff without our toddler this week. We decided to see a movie today and booked seats for the fantastic four at this AMC theater since it is relatively close to our daycare. The seats in theater 8 DO NOT RECLINE! Super frustrating. The movie hasn't started yet, but everything else here is great. Cheers!

It is unfortunate that this theatre doesn't offer the open captioning feature anymore. The closed captioning device is always running out of power and missing some dialogue. This device is very unreliable. Would appreciate this place start offering the OC feature.

Generally AMC has a pretty good hold on their theaters. However, once upon a time ago Saratoga used to be good now it's barely skirting by with a D+. This theater needs a face list, fresh paint, newer carpet, it needs a sprinkle of hope and magic to bring it back to it's former glory. It definitely needs some help. The non reclining seats are super duper old and kinda have a musty smell. Actual theater maybe 2 stars. Snack bar good. Staff are attentive and good so I give them 5 stars.

AMC Saratoga 14 is located in El Paseo de Saratoga plaza, where they have plenty of parking. They offer IMAX, so certain screens are huge and have plenty of seats. Though, they are stadium seating and not the recliners. Unfortunately, I find them uncomfortable to sit in because all the padding had worn out. They do sell alcohol inside. So you can bring your beer and watch your movie. Three soda machines with multitude of popular brands to choose from. Also a icee machine. My friends and I saw Marvel's newest movie, Captain America: A Brave New World.

Easily, and I can't stress this enough, *easily* the worst theater experience you will ever have. I have to count on two hands how many times the workers have set off the fire alarm and stopped the movie to evacuate the building. The AC consistently does not work and the theaters can be very stuffy and warm. The seats are outdated and uncomfortable. Go anywhere else if you can.

AMC 14 is located in Saratoga,Ca. This location is in a nice neighborhood area which of lots of nearby amenities of restaurants, and other beauty business and furniture stores. I normally access to purchase my movie tickets online. At times I go myself at times I am accompanied of someone. Regardless I do commute travel to theaters using own personal transporation to get to and from locations. Tickets and scanned picked up a front booth. Normally scanned in. I used to work at this movie theatre when it first opened and let me just say it still has the same seats from when I worked there and that was in 1999. If they want people to keep coming back then they need to get with the times and update . Everything else is good they just need better seating .

It's a pretty alright theater!! The staff are very friendly and the concession lines move fast. They also have a little Arcade machine section in the lobby area and a McGuffins Bar. The bathrooms are also kept clean. On this occasion I was in auditorium 1 and it was okay. The seats are the old-fashioned non-recliners, they were a bit dirty but otherwise okay to sit in (not ripped or smelly). I wish there was more space between rows because people who were sitting deeper into the rows had to shimmy their way to their seats to avoid bumping into people who were already seated (I was seated next to the stairs so this wasn't an issue for me but I also had to readjust every time someone had to walk past me). Another issue I had was with the audio. I felt that it was a little low, not to the point that I couldn't hear the movie but for some quieter scenes I definitely had to listen carefully. Though this could have simply been from the sound mixing of the movie. Other than this it was a pretty good experience and I had a lot of fun watching the movie. Overall, this isn't my go-to AMC because it's further away but they do sometimes get foreign and independent films that aren't released at the other AMCs (which is the reason I went on this occasion), and the reason I would come back in the future.

This is a pretty nice theater overall, but needs to be upgraded. The place is clean with a polite and friendly staff. They have two lines for snacks (the regular line and for Stubbs members) but you can also pre-order and the pick up at the end of the counter. They also have a small bar if you want an adult beverage. There's a small arcade as well. But the smaller theaters are kind of old and run down and really needs to be fixed up.
