They have menudo on the menu! I need to come back to try it! The chips and salsa are delicious! The salsa has a nice mild spice to it that is very pleasant and really kickstarts the palate for the rest of the meal. I ordered a fish taco and shrimp taco. The fish was fresh, flaky, and had a nice grilled flavor to it. The batter wasn't overpowering. The taco was very well balanced with the amount of pico and cabbage to fish. The shrimp was snappy and tasted fresh. Same fillings as the fish taco. Overall enjoyable. Of the two I preferred the fish taco and would come back for more!

On a whim and because we were starving we decided to try Dona Maria's shrimp burritos which were about 15 bucks a pop. All my previous experience with burritos comes from the section of Mountain View known as the "Burrito Triangle". There are three excellent burrito places which can accurately described as holes in the wall.However we saw cops and other civil servants eating there in great numbers so we thought that was a good sign. It was indeed. California is apparently well known as the home of the wet burrito and it's delicious even if it's not really authentic. Dona Maria's burritos are very very good although it doesn't climb to the heights of a wet burrito. It's a decent size. If you have a smaller appetite it is two servings. If your appetite is much larger then one serving. It came with a salsa verde and a red spicy salsa. Both were reasonably spicy and had some delicious kick. While the ambience is a bit beat up I would not call it a hole in the wall. It's homey and comfortable.

I came into Dona Maria after a hike and I was craving a breakfast burrito. I looked at their menu and they had one that looked good for about $13. They were open early too, which was nice. I went up to the cash register and the woman working there was on the phone and there wasn't anyone else to help. I waited a long time while she chatted on the phone and then I just left without getting any food because she stayed on the phone and didn't say anything to me.

Tried this spot for lunch and had a great burrito! Food: 5/5 I got a super carne asada burrito wet with red and green sauce. The burrito was large, had a good amount of meat and I enjoyed the green and red sauce. Customer Service: 5/5 I ordered it take out, so there is not much to report on the customer service. However, the staff were very nice and they did offer to add extra salsa cups. Price: 3/5 The price was a little high in my opinion. I paid almost $19 for the burrito and there were no chips with the order. Ambiance: 3/5 The restaurant is clean and well kept. It's great for a quick lunch or dinner. You order at the counter and seat yourself. Overall, a good experience ordering takeout from this restaurant. I'd come back.

Parking was easy and there seemed to be quite a few Spanish speaking customers, so thinking this must be quite authentic. Decided to try the chicken mole and the waitress said it was really good. The mole sauce was decent but the 4 chunks of white meat chicken were dry. I would much prefer dark meat, and maybe the meat won't be as dry. A bit disappointing for a $23 plate.

Always easy to get a table and the service is prompt and efficient. Smaller restaurant but has ample seating. The food is always reliably good and the prices are very fair.

The place is neat and clean, though not especially warm. Service was fast and friendly. Chips and salsa cost extra. The salsa was similar to pico de gallo; it was very good. The chips on the other hand had a very odd and off-putting taste. I ordered the camarones ala diabla with corn tortillas; my fiend had the enchiladas suizas con pollo, The food was well-prepared and tasty, and the portions were quite large. The also have a chicken mole on the menu, which I will try next time! I also ordered a margarita. At $16, it was pretty pricey, but it was also large, and pretty good. Overall this is a nice, friendly place serving good Mexican food at a fair price. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but I'll definitiely stop back when I'm in the area.

This place was amazing. Food was hot , plenty of cheese in our burrito , everything was fresh floor were clean. It's funny having service dog you start to notice how dirty some floors are just because you look down more often and he got to lay on a nice clean cool floor being as it was a warm day. Friendly service and great portion size I got to take half my burrito home for tomorrow lunch I big plus for me .

These guys do a great job. Food is always yummy. The salsa is really good. The chili verde is the best.

As a regular I love their tacos and salsa. Food is great never oily but the service has gone down. I used to go regularly at least twice a week. Until an incident a few weeks ago. When I visited for dinner the server forgot to close my check. The next time I visited the manager belligerently accused me of not paying my bill. She yelled at me refused to serve me until I pulled up my bank statement and showed her that I did pay on the prior date. After realizing her mistake she served me with my food and gave me a complimentary coke but it didn't make up for the emotional distress of the confrontation so I don't see myself returning to this location. I rate this location two stars because of the tacos but the treatment was unacceptable.
