Best DJ I could ask for at my wedding on 9/26/20. Very organized, communicated well, and did an outstanding job with the music and MC'ing the whole party. This is a review for Kris D who DJ'd my wedding at the Circus Club in Atherton, CA. Firstly, I would like to thank Kris D Productions for making my celebration a truly fun experience. He had the dance floor filled the whole night, entertaining the likes of 3 generations and 3 different cultures. When the crowd was getting loud during some important speeches he graciously asked to show respect. He has a great DJ presence and knows how to get the party going when it needs it and make it special during those intimate moments. An exceptional highlight of Kris D is he likes to meet the couple prior to the event. He got to know us, gave us ideas on how we could interact with the crowd, gave us pointers on how we should enter, etc. All these tips truly made for an excellent celebration. Kris D is not your typical DJ that's just going to play music to get the crowd going. He's going to interact with you and your guests, set the mood for those special moments, and give you pointers to make you look good! I recommend Kris D Productions to anyone looking to host an event without question. I've already got my work to hire him for upcoming high tech corporate events. I booked Kris as a DJ for one of my best friend's wedding in SF. I couldn't be happier with choosing him for the occasion. The newly weds would not stop raving about how much they loved him. It all started with Kris' personable approach. He asked me about their style in music, what their personalities were like, what the wedding was going to be like, etc so that he could tailor his services to fit the whole wedding production. After all that, he still wanted to meet the couple in person over coffee so that he could get to know them more and vice versa. Although the couple was super busy and stressed out with wedding planning, they were so happy they met Kris for coffee because he was approachable, friendly, and also ended up helping them plan some parts of their wedding! (e.g. reception timeline.) Not sure if he even knows about that, haha! Fast forward to the wedding day... Kris showed up early for set up. He set up so graciously that no one even really noticed he was there! Not only that, he brought lighting too. Lights make a huge difference when dancing on the dance floor and Kris included it in his service for us. We're so glad he did. Since Kris has been a DJ for a while, he knows how to read the crowd and knows what music to play, and when to switch it up based on the demographic and energy level. We requested R&B, pop, hip hop, old skool, dancehall, etc. He had it all. And he mixes really well. You can tell he has done it a thousand times. He also did some MC'ing for us. On the mic, he is well poised and demands attention from the audience while still maintaining a polite demeanor. It's not an easy thing to accomplish. Even when it wasn't asked of him, he would get on the mic at the perfect times. In fact, he did it at times when we completely forgot about the time time! For example: best man/maid of honor speeches, and bouquet/garter tosses. If he hadn't said anything, it may have never happened, lol! Lastly, the dance floor got really hot! Maybe it was from Kris on those turntables, or maybe it was from poor ventilation from the venue... we may never know, lol. But we were all sweating, even Kris! We felt so bad that we kept telling me to go outside for fresh air. Kris shook it off, smiled, and insisted he wasn't really hot. That was b.s, but it just goes to show how seriously he takes his job. I recommend anyone to Kris if they want a DJ who will go above and beyond. You will not be disappointed. He is very fair with his prices. It's not cheap, but it's not expensive either. The worst thing anyone could do is go with a cheap DJ and then regret it cause the performance was just mediocre and your guests aren't having fun. That's not saving money... it's wasting money. With Kris, you could rest assured you're getting a good deal for a DJ who cares, has good DJ skills, will bring lights, has stage presence, will listen to what you what, and delivers! Your guests will be happy! You will be happy! BOOK HIM NOW! And you're welcome! :)

This review is long overdue. We had the pleasure of working with Kris for our wedding in November. He was extremely professional and easy to work with. As with most people and weddings, we were pretty budget conscious, so we decided to not hire a MC. Kris was able to work with us and help navigate our guests throughout our wedding. He provided us with exactly what we wanted in terms of setting the mood and we was able to read the crowd! We had such a great time dancing the night away. I can't recommend him enough!!

We hired Kris to DJ our wedding and he was the best DJ!! He kept our wedding rocking the entire night! He also did a great job emceeing the entire event. We received so many compliments about him! The dance floor was packed all night and the energy was amazing!! He provided uplighting also which made the entire ambience amazing. I booked Kris D for my wedding and I'm so glad I did. I reached out to him and he was quick with a response. He arrived early to the venue to set up which was great, had everyone dancing all night long. Not only is he a dj but he kept the crowd going. Anything that I need such as lighting he had it.
